Too often using these types of tools the data don't tie with the source system, or the templated reports look terrible, or (the worst), you can't add rows/columns to the connected reports. I was happily surprised when LiveFlow solved for all of these with their tool! The canned report templates are "good enough" for most companies, the data mapping is spot on, and rows/columns can be easily added to the reports enabling re-classing, re-ordering, or further-summarizing accounts for management reports. Integration was super-simple, plugin installation a breeze, and the integrated Google Account signin makes for no lost credentials/needs for password resets. Before I knew this I reached out to customer service to help me log-in and they were very responsive. **What do you dislike about LiveFlow?** Their price tag is a little steep for early-stage businesses, but still worth the money, in my opinion due to the time saved extracting and formatting data into Excel. **What problems is LiveFlow solving and how is that benefiting you?** Immediate data from multiple company files consolidated instantly -- always ties back to the books, too! ### 9. The integration is very easy to use, and everything syncs perfectlly with QBO. I use liveflow very frequently during monthly review for my consulting clients and implement different type of reports for their review. Liveflow also has great customer support, whenever I have a question, or need to fix a formula, their support get back to me immedietly with a solution. We've used it for all kinds of things from constructing reporting packages, to intercompany balances reconciliation, to automatic pulls of supplementary info (such as ageing reports, income/expense by counterpart etc), to automatic calculation of month-end journals. I use it for 25+ client records and it saves hundreds of hours compared to download copy paste method. ### 18. We love that others outside of the finance department can easily access the data without needing access to QuickBooks. As a company that needs to consolidate 3 businesses into one financial report, liveflow is key to making that happen in an accurate and efficient way. We work in a small business with both construction and architecture projects needing different levels of project management and financial controls. The kinds of reports Quickbooks makes are great for our bookkeeper and accountant but our PMs don't read them as intuitively, and they often have dozens of lines of information that aren't essential. Livelfow gets all the raw data out of QBO and into Google Sheets where we can organize and present the project level information in ways our PMs can use quickly - without the need to do manual updates to the data. It was incredibly easy to set-up and it's easy to use on an ongoing basis, when you need to tweak a reporting parameter. LiveFlow did that for us. We get any report we want when we want it. We are able to consolidate, eliminate, everything we were looking for. Anytime we had a question or issue, their customer service was quick to help or work on a fix. Overall, it is easy to use. Some of the more in-depth reports take a bit of work to set up, but you get out more than you put in. **What do you dislike about LiveFlow?** We have had issues when we have too many reports in a single spreadsheet running updates too often. It would bog down and take quite a while to update. But we separated the reports into multiple spreadsheets, and everything works fine. **What problems is LiveFlow solving and how is that benefiting you?** We could not find software that did a good job consolidating our muti company structure to get the GLs we wanted in reports. We can budget and forecast all using Liveflow. ### 26. We implemented LiveFlow so that we could combine financial reports with forecasting tools to which they could provide input in their preferred format of Google Sheets. They were pretty advanced models and it took a bit of time to learn the formulas and build things the way we envisioned, but support was great and now the possibilities are endless. LiveFlow works seamlessly, the client feels much more in control, and it saves me a ton of time versus exporting and formatting! **What do you dislike about LiveFlow?** Steep learning curve on building advanced worksheets that not all users are going to be able to manage, but support was very responsive and found solutions for what I needed. Price could be more competitive with platforms like Reach Reporting. **What problems is LiveFlow solving and how is that benefiting you?** LiveFlow allows the client to see the most recent activity, it allows the client to analyze the data and make inputs for forecast updates. This saves me from having to take the client inputs and enter them into excel. Also saves me from having to export from QBO and format everything to share it with the client. We have integrated LifeFlow reports into our custom reporting packages for our entire client portfolio, and it saves us so much time compared to before when we were manually exporting reports. We started out with just the P&L and Balance sheet reports, but are continuously coming up with new ways we can use other QBO reports to build customized dashboards and provide more insights to our clients automatically. I can't imagine my workday without it! **What do you dislike about LiveFlow?** The only disappointment so far is not being able to figure out (yet) a way to create consolidated reporting for a client that has a subsidiary which only provides spreadsheet financial statements (the parent company uses QBO). Once the data is in Excel or GSheets, you can insert rows/columns into the report if needed and it doesn't break anything -- the refresh will continue to work just fine. Lots of reporting templates to choose from. Such a time saver every month! And excellent customer service along the way if you have questions or run into any issues. **What do you dislike about LiveFlow?** The Excel functionality is newer (they launched with GSheets first) so there aren't quite as many templates for Excel as there are for GSheets, but they have been closing that gap rapidly every day.
