It is easy to add gifts and track over all giving for multiple fundraising efforts. Their customer service is fast and efficient. Pulling list and reports is very easy as well. I have used other (much bigger) databases that make pulling queries nearly impossible! **What do you dislike about Little Green Light?** There really isn't one part of Little Green Light that I don't like! **Recommendations to others considering Little Green Light:** Little Green Light has met and exceeded all of our exceptions. From the affordability to the ease of use it can not be matched and we wouldn't consider switching vendors. **What problems is Little Green Light solving and how is that benefiting you?** Before LGL we used excel! LGL has transformed our development department. We have been able to not only track giving but easily print and send tax receipts to our donors. LGL helps us manage our donors and see where we are in stewardship process. ### 2. It has a crisp modern look in comparison to other platforms in its price range. -The customer service from the LGL was top notch with replies generally arriving the same day but always within 24 hours. - The easy management of appeals, campaigns and events. **What do you dislike about Little Green Light?** - The lack of Social media profile integration, however, this a fault with most donor management platforms. - It seems to be created more for the American market as opposed to the international market. **Recommendations to others considering Little Green Light:** - LGL is a great product for those who want a relatively cheap fundraising platform with a modern and easy to use interface. - LGL has great customer service, so if this is important to you, Hunter and his team will be very responsive. - I have tired around 4/5 different platforms in this price range. This is the best I have come across. **What problems is Little Green Light solving and how is that benefiting you?** - Ability to have a clear profile of our donors and to have to them linked to campaigns. - Ability to accept online donations, thus cutting out a great amount of paperwork. - Integrations with other software platforms. ### 3. We've been able to add categories to fit our needs, without any extra customization fees. It helps us build and track relationships with our donors, volunteers, and others efficiently and professionally. Users can bcc their LGL dropbox on emails through any client to have the email added to a constituent's profile automatically. LGL has a company e-newsletter that's actually useful (updates on new features). They have great customer service too, which is something that really matters to me. **What do you dislike about Little Green Light?** The integrated email system (Mandrill) isn't super effective and doesn't do any fancy formatting. We can't enter split gifts (though they're working on this, so I hear). We have a hard time sometimes managing households without duplication. **Recommendations to others considering Little Green Light:** Great for small teams. We have 6 staff. **What problems is Little Green Light solving and how is that benefiting you?** Raising more money, building more complete donor profiles, spending much less time on entering donations and generating mailings. ### 4. The flexibility and customization within the menus and reports allows me to quickly be able to build and track relationships, grants, and volunteers. The LGL dropbox features has to be one of my favorites. LGL's support team is absolutely amazing - they're incredibly responsive (usually same day/same hour) and helpful. **What do you dislike about Little Green Light?** Saved searches/query function could be stronger with an option to save universally. The flex import function can be really helpful, but does tend to create a lot of duplicate work and unnecessary clean-up if not done exactly the right way. **What problems is Little Green Light solving and how is that benefiting you?** LGL has allowed our development team to gain a serious amount of capacity. Having a common shared space to track relations, grants and acknowledgements has been hugely helpful. ### 5. Their customer support is outstanding. As I use more of the features, I am more happy with it. I am especially appreciating contact reports. **What do you dislike about Little Green Light?** I'd like to be able to run reports comparing one year to the previous year. I'd like to see pace, retention rate and other reports that give me a sense of how my work is going year over year. The search feature and edit feature are easy to use The lay-out for address and other contact information are broad. I like the contact linking feature. The "groups" design is very useful. The last campaign we used the steward to help track which campaign member was tracking who and we were able to run reports for our bi-weekly meeting. **What do you dislike about Little Green Light?** Running reports is difficult. If the report is just a simple extraction than no problem. But when you have to use filters and set-up the extract designated fields it becomes very cumbersome.. **What problems is Little Green Light solving and how is that benefiting you?** Donor mapping. None yet, we just learned how to use the database for this task. ### 7. We began using Little Green Light earlier this year and have found LGL to be a wonderful tool for our organization. LGL allowed us to move from spreadsheets to a true database format providing us with the ability to search, categorize and track our donors and fundraising efforts. The program is easy to use and very intuitive. Tech support has been responsive and very helpful with the initial set up, importing of our data and any follow up questions. Integrated easily with our MailChimp account. Our new ED has worked with other larger, more robust CRM programs and believes LGL is a great program for smaller organizations with limited funds. We highly recommend LGL to others organizations - this program will provide you with the database functions you need at a very reasonable cost. **What do you dislike about Little Green Light?** Honestly, for our organizational needs we do not have any cons - we are extremely happy with this product. **What problems is Little Green Light solving and how is that benefiting you?** We've been able to consolidate all of our organizations files into one database including our program files. There are little kinds that can be confusing, as it is limited to what I want to do. Nonetheless, I think it makes up for the customer service, I get response within a few hours, and when I would make a call the customer service rep is able to help me. It also helps that a lot of interns/volunteer use this program to fill data entry for our donors that it can be easily teachable to them. **What do you dislike about Little Green Light?** I dislike how uncustomizable it is, I'd also like it to be more visual so I am able to presentations better. I often find that there are some duplicates, so maybe a way to track this would be great. **Recommendations to others considering Little Green Light:** I would like more visual reports. **What problems is Little Green Light solving and how is that benefiting you?** I am solving how much donors come in, and what are peak seasons and slow seasons for us. Benefits of this is really to show how aggressive we should be on our slow season things that we can develop to interact with our donors. We are trying to find a way to have everyone involve in this website, our directors, and our marketing/sponsor teams. So far, only the administrator and the volunteers use this, maybe something useful would be a platform for everyone that would need to see what is going on. Who are donating and how they are donating. ### 9. Task manager and contact reports are good. **What do you dislike about Little Green Light?** When we called to discuss BASIC development reports such as a tracker of where we are now vs. at this point last year, they said, "maybe you need something a little more sophisticated." It is not sophisticated; it is basic. **Recommendations to others considering Little Green Light:** Find out about donor reports. This is our biggest sticking point. **What problems is Little Green Light solving and how is that benefiting you?** Better donor stewardship and follow through with donors. The flex importer works well. **What do you dislike about Little Green Light?** I dislike that there is no option to connect an acknowledgements to a gift. There are problems connecting online payments int the integration queue to the pledge installments. There is only an annual report or honorary name which is connected to the constituent record. I also find their customer service to be fabulous some times...others not. **What problems is Little Green Light solving and how is that benefiting you?** I have not been using LGL long enough to give my opinion. ### 11. If I have to pick a favorite thing, it's the ability to create reports with many parameters. **What do you dislike about Little Green Light?** Lots of steps in creating custom reports, but I understand the process is necessary for customization. **Recommendations to others considering Little Green Light:** Streamline the report process. **What problems is Little Green Light solving and how is that benefiting you?** Instead of using a large, cumbersome spreadsheet for grant tracking, we can input proposals and gifts, then print concise, specific reports based on our need at the time. ### 12. It would sometimes delete their info or cause a merge that shouldn't have happened. **Recommendations to others considering Little Green Light:** I used LGL with a small donor database. Now that I work for an organization with a much larger database, I don't know how LGL would perform since I never used it to a high capacity of donors. **What problems is Little Green Light solving and how is that benefiting you?** It was easy to generate acknowledgement letters because you could upload templates into LGL. It definitely streamlined that process. ### 13.
