We transitioned to Litmos several years ago from another LMS, so we did have some basic knowledge of how we wanted things to function and what we wanted the Learner's experience to look like. We were able to get up and running with Litmos fairly quickly and incorporate single sign on for our employees. Throughout the years they have added several new features and made improvements to some of their existing features. Litmos gives us the ability to make certain content only available to a specific group of employees by utilizing their teams feature, which is very important to our company. The Litmos assign feature makes it easy to make sure that employees are assigned to the teams and content that are relevant to their job rob. From the Learner’s aspect, navigation is pretty easy and does have search capabilities. We utilize the deep link URL’s frequently and it works really well for our employees, especially during compliance month. The bulk upload feature makes it really quick and easy to upload new learners or to adjust the profiles of existing learners when their job role changes. **What do you dislike about Litmos?** The customer service experience is not the greatest. You can only receive support by filling out a long form online and the someone will message you back on the portal. The follow up to some of the tickets we have submitted has taken weeks or longer or we've been given a "it's supposed to work like that" response. Reporting could also use some improvement; it can be very slow and sometimes you have to run several types of reports to get all the info you need for a specific course. Team leader reporting times out all the time in the quick reports and doesn't give them the access to create their own reports in the reporting engine. It would also be helpful to have the option to lock an esignature module once the learner has completed it. **What problems is Litmos solving and how is that benefiting you?** Most of our employees are completely virtual now and having an LMS with Litmos is crucial in order to deliver learning and compliance content to our employees. Providing an electronic learning transcript has been helpful in documenting concerns with poor performing employees. ### 2. Thanks to our Litmos advisor Hillary, she showed all of the major features that Litmos provides for the user. It is very easy to implement you own content to the LMS. It is also easy to integrate your content from systems such as PowerPoint and more.They offer options of being able to create content with their "create a course" feature which allows you to create directly on the LMS or you can upload your own content from a different source. Hillary is very helpful whenever we have a question about a specific or broad issue we are having. We use litmos every day and every year for our users and we appreciate how easy it is to use and how quickly the staff answers questions. **What do you dislike about Litmos?** What I dislike about Litmos is that the online trainings are not as advanced as I would like. **What problems is Litmos solving and how is that benefiting you?** Litmos is solving our problem of how to give content to our wide range of users that need constant training. I appreciate the Content Library filled with training modules. I also like the quick responses by Customer Support and my my Account Manager. **What do you dislike about Litmos?** This system is configured for Enrollments and Completions. If we wanted to have training sites set up for non-trackable trainings (for simply 'knowledge-base' sites, it is not user friendly. I have many users who want the training on their dashboard; but just as an observer). Reporting function is also difficult is some aspects. I terms of content, I would like to simply upload a video file, not as a scorm file but track who has viewed it and how many times they view it without a complex reporting process to gather that data. **What problems is Litmos solving and how is that benefiting you?** Integrations: Customer Support is solving that and working well with us. It doesn't take much to figure out where you need to go or what you need to do to start training. The icons are clean, clear and the home screen isn't messy like other learning platforms. The mobile interface used to be clunky but it's gotten much better over the past 12 months, so much that we have seen a reduction in complaints over this. Victoria our customer service representative is responsive and helpful, so when we have any questions about a user feature if she doesn't have the answer she knows someone who does. **What do you dislike about Litmos?** Confusing compliance features for learners (example: learners have no idea what "complete but not compliant means) makes it really utilize Litmos for it's reporting and complinace functions. Another pain point is not being able to remove names from a course if they have been assigned via a Team removes some of the flexibility we need to operate as an organization. I would have said here that Litmos needs more role admin functions, but it seems that as of this week that this might have been taken care of, so I appreciate that Litmos is taking the feedback seriously here! **What problems is Litmos solving and how is that benefiting you?** Litmos is our main learning platform for all of our education needs within the company. ### 6. The first is the content library. This economical solution is an instant resource for employees. They can use the tool to develop their skills and feel supported by our organization on Day 1 of release. The ease of implemenation allowed us to go live to 1500+ users in a few short weeks, rather than months of back and forth with the provider. The built in content author tool is a value add, as we can make a variety of training content without having to purchase/integrate more software. This in conjuntion with the Litmos content library allows for a robust experience for all users. Finally, our employees are from a variety of backgrounds, but the consistent feedback that we hear is how easy the platform is to navigate. For our people on the road, the app is the go to solution. For others, the desktop experience is ideal. No matter how they consume the training content, the platform provides an ideal training experience. **What do you dislike about Litmos?** The purchased content library can be overwhelming for some people and it is not easy to drive users to one course over another. I'd like to see improvement in the search and sorting functionality. **What problems is Litmos solving and how is that benefiting you?** We have over 140 locations across the United States, causing delays in communication and incongruity in the training delivery. Litmos allows us to deliver consistent, timely training. Virtual learning has not replaced on the job training, but now our employees have the same high-quality training experience, regardless of their location. The tools being provided on the platform have equiped and empowered our field trainers, which is improving their experience as well. ### 9. Reporting is not visual however the reporting engine does allow for breaking down of results effectively. **What do you dislike about Litmos?** Litmos' platform has many issues. The support for these issues is all external to US and typically slow and doesn't resolve issues. Typically I have to troubleshoot and resolve on my own. The platform is not scalable and especially not useful for teams outside of computers. They don't offer classroom style training for manufacturing. The like the current microlearning content and delivery styles. **What do you dislike about Litmos?** We are frustrated that we are not able to asssign multiple due dates to Litmos-created courses. This has impacted our monthly new hire assignments. I also enjoy the ease of building content in Litmos. I enjoy the Litmos reporting function, but I find that Quick Reports is not always accurate so I don't use that function. **What do you dislike about Litmos?** I enjoy the platform, but there are bugs, or I have to self-teach the more complicated functions. I find it difficult to learn all of the functions that Litmos has to offer. Just watching a video in the Dojo is not always enough, and I often find myself spending too much time on my own playing with ILT, Teams, Assessments or Rules to figure out how to make something work. I wish there was more support from Litmos to help us with these features so we can fill the business need. I also wish there was more detail in reports for Assessments, like showing all attempts or calculating the highest score rather than the most recent. **What problems is Litmos solving and how is that benefiting you?** They help us with assigning Compliance Training, and make it easy to report on who has taken the course. It also reaches a wide audience of people across out business. Once I learn the ILT function, I am hoping Litmos will help us solve for organizing and tracking our internal training as well. ### 21. This would be helpful from my standpoint because typically I need to reference hire dates and that is not included on course reporting, for example. **What problems is Litmos solving and how is that benefiting you?** Litmos is able to solve any problems that have to do with employees at our company completing mandatory courses or unique courses that are utilized to further their education on certain topics. This is important for us to see as we use these metrics to measure what courses are working, which are not, and which are the most/least used. While I have seen a major improvement in content in 2022, it still isn't on par with what I have seen from Articulate or Blue Ocean Brain. Keep working on improving that. I'd also like to see courses that can be easily switched to different languages, instead of creating completely separate courses on topics. The biggest thing I dislike about Litmos is the customer service. While I think the new portal is great, the response time is lacking. I've waited weeks and months for resolutions. Often things I present must be sent to the engineering team, where it takes even longer, and I am not provided updates unless I ask.
