Being able to bulk tag posts so I can measure campaigns easily against benchmarks! This is something I asked ListenFirst to improve and they did!

**What do you dislike about ListenFirst?**

The ONLY thing is that it doesn't have TikTok impressions and the Word Cloud only includes Twitter topics. Other than that, things are going great!

Very user-friendly. Meeting with our reps each month is extremely helpful. They're great at updating us on new features and answering any questions that might pop up.

I would like to be trained to pull some of the social reports on my own so I don't depend on our reps as much. We actually have plans to go over this in the coming weeks.

ListenFirst is allowing us to look at which posts are performing the best and worst each week and month. It's also allowing us to look at each individual campaign and how it performs overall.

ListenFirst has been a game-changer for us. It's very comprehensive and versatile. Through the platform, we've been able to uncover valuable brand lift for our partners, scout for prospects, monitor our competitors and monitor our own organic and branded campaign performance.

It can be a little overwhelming at first to understand all of the features and where to go for what.

**What problems is ListenFirst solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are able to use ListenFirst in both the pre- and post-sale process. We are prospecting new clients, monitoring campaign performance of current clients and indexing our brand vs. our industry through benchmarks. We've been able to uncover incredible brand lift for partners as well as tell a great story with data, on why partnering with our brand is more valuable vs. competitors. As an added benefit, several other departments are able to use ListenFirst.

My favorite thing about Listen Frist is how easy it is to use, I also like that the application features different ways to access valuable data!

I don't have any dislikes about the app, it used to work a little slow but now it's so easy to access data quickly!

Listen First is a great platform to use. If you are lost with anything, there are always helpful calls with one of their representatives that will help you navigate the platform.

With Listen First, I think it's made our compny have a closer relationship with our audience. We can truly understand how they feel about a show, and use that data to provide more content from them they would enjoy!

**What do you like best about ListenFirst?**

A unique KPI is response rate vs. engagement rate. I like knowing that we can have an idea of how our content is engaging with our audiences and competitors on an even platform.

**What do you dislike about ListenFirst?**

Though it has improved, it is still a bit on the slower end to load data and other fields. The UI has also improved but is not as friendly as competitors such as Sprout Social.

**Recommendations to others considering ListenFirst:**

If you're on the fence between several platforms, go with ListenFirst!

**What problems is ListenFirst solving and how is that benefiting you?**

ListenFirst's ability to integrate API with our Unified Marketing Analytics dashboard (in progress) will allow us to pull data and view it from a single interface across the organization. Too often do people view data from different points of view - this will help solve that problem.

Sentiment analysis feature is a bit limited compared to other social analytics tools that we use.

We use content analysis and the time window comparison most heavily at CBS.  We are able to see which content performed best, which content performed worst, and evaluate KPI performance over a predetermined period of time

The team at ListenFirst is unparalleled - they work seamlessly as an extension of our own internal team. The tool allows us quick access to answering both immediate questions daily and more extensive requests we receive from several groups, including marketing and content development.

We are looking forward to several product updates this year, such as custom dashboards that will allow us to grant managed access to other members within our organization. Right now our biggest challenge is getting as many people on the platform as we can, at scale, and in a way that they can easily digest information.

Come to the team armed with questions your group is looking to answer - they are incredibly knowledgable about the product and its capabilities and giving them that extra framework will make your partnership that much more effective.

The customer service from ListenFirst is outstanding. Our reps understand our content and objectives.  I always receive timely replies to queries and issues and they provide constant updates about reports, changes and improvements.

The only hole I see is a stronger Affinity tool.  We are often pitching sponsorship ideas and the need to understand the overlap of social audiences for any show, brand or influencer is key.

The ListenFirst platform has a lot of useful features for accessing all your social data in one place. It is an excellent resource for competitive benchmarking and industry rankings. We also use them for account services and the team is very helpful, easy to work with, and quick to respond to questions or requests.

The platform UI is not as intuitive as it could be, some functions are clunky. Once you know where to go for what though, it's not a problem.

We use ListenFirst to provide weekly social reporting for all our shows while they are in season. We also use the ListenFirst platform to collect data and report on our social marketing efforts, measuring our success KPIs, and competitive benchmarking and analysis.

I have yet to encounter a tool with such great integration with Instagram. Collecting IG analytics is quick and painless.

**What do you like best about ListenFirst?**

ListenFirst has all of the data that I need in one place. Even better, the teams that support our account are extremely responsive and are experts in both the social analytics space and the entertainment space. Our contacts at ListenFirst add tremendous value to an already great product.

**What do you dislike about ListenFirst?**

The tagging feature is great, but the manual tagging process can sometimes be a bit frustrating in the platform. Integration with Sprinklr would be extremely beneficial. Additionally, API limitations, largely outside of ListenFirst's control, cause some headaches for our business, particularly when it comes to IGTV.

**Recommendations to others considering ListenFirst:**

The interface can be frustrating at the beginning, but once you have an opportunity to play around and experiment, you'll find the platform to be useful and intuitive.

**What problems is ListenFirst solving and how is that benefiting you?**

ListenFirst allows us to quickly analyze posting cadences on our various brands. Finding the right time of day and day of week to post new content to optimize return on social has greatly impacted our performance. We also utilize the platform for quick competitive analyses to help inform strategy and strengthen our presence in the media and entertainment space.

I love ListenFirst's Content Analysis tool and the helpfulness of their team. They've taken my product suggestions and provided me with new templates and reports to fulfill our my team's needs.

I don't love the lack of sentiment management or the paid post interface.

I've used ListenFirst to create a monthly report showcasing competitor trends and the white space we can fill within our industry. I also have used it for tagging content in the past.

Being able to go to one site to select one's desired metrics is very convenient!

The data quality isn't quite up to par (e.g., Rotten Tomatoes data not available for all movies that have data on the RT site). Also, having to search for one title at a time is a bit cumbersome...

Time savings in being able to pull the relevant social and digital metadata from LF has been really helpful!

**What do you like best about ListenFirst?**

LFM's approach to client-satisfaction with white-glove service, speed with inquiries/requests from the client side, broad breadth of global platforms covered in their custom dashboard, ability to tackle custom requests. I also like that within the dashboard we can understand not only our brand's performance but also in comparison to other brands in the fashion universe (the Story runner, etc). 

**What do you dislike about ListenFirst?**

This is outside of LFM's control, but I wish they captured all metrics on platforms as they are introduced (ex: IGTV views, engagements, etc) - that is more API dependent. As it relates to their dashboard, I would like the UX to be a bit more visual vs. text-heavy

**Recommendations to others considering ListenFirst:**

Do it! While it is a self-service tool (which everyone wants), there is also a lot of ease and comfort I have as a client knowing I have a account team that is always available to help with custom requests or troubleshoot platform issues.

Value of social content performance for a global brand like ours over time. Benefits include: ability to pull historical data with one click, having a client-team that's readily available, etc.

When you know what you're doing, it's very user-friendly. When you know what you want, it's very easy to get the data. However, when you're digging for some stories there are so many different options that you don't know what's the best option/

**What do you dislike about ListenFirst?**

I don't like that the filters don't seem to be in real-time. Many times we've had issues with the Day Of Air or First Run Air Date filters working. I understand that it is based on a third-party source, but it could use some work to make it more accurate.

We are using ListenFirst data to showcase how different programs within our media portfolio are performing across social platforms. We have been able to tell consistent #1 stories on Broadcast & Cable. We also use the Story Runner to help us craft stories for specific campaigns on our networks to show the benefits that partnering with us has on social activity.

We're very pleased to have used ListenFirst for our social tracking needs. It's very comprehensive and user-friendly - and cuts down our research time drastically! 

**What do you dislike about ListenFirst?**

It may be on our servers at work, but it can get very slow. I also think it would be super helpful to have video views calculated on the social page rundowns, instead of just clicking each video link to find the views. Last, I'd love to be able to include the current day in the date range when I'm looking up information. 

**What problems is ListenFirst solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I think our research that we pull has been consolidated both with information and time since working with ListenFirst. We're able to see info as soon as we log into the homepage that we ordinarily would have to sort through the week. And to see the information in ways that are easier to compare and contrast to glean more analysis.

Certain functionality and performance on the back end of the platform could be improved.

I really appreciated having all the posts and their respective analytics on one screen for easy browsing access.

**What do you dislike about ListenFirst?**

We were hoping ListenFirst could be integrated with Sprinklr, as we use that for all of our scheduling/posting. Some features, including campaign/series tagging weren't able to port over to ListenFirst, so we could know how certain campaigns were performing separately. Also, the one-day delay in analytics was often a bit too slow for what we needed.

The clear breakdown of analytics allows us to quickly see what's working organic vs. paid, and the viewing of multiple posts on one screen keeps it all in one place for easy access.

I've worked with Nicole Yoon for over a year now and she has really become part of the team.  She's done a great job with all of our complicated reporting (BBC vs BBCA) and presents weekly to the Marketing, Social, and Research teams. 

**What do you dislike about ListenFirst?**

There have been a few errors in how programming is coded in the industry portal - specifically genre/or first run.  We often will filter on these specific buckets for a press claim and will manually do our own check. 

**What problems is ListenFirst solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We mainly use ListenFirst to track the health of fandom around our original programming.  We'll start tracking 4 weeks pre-premiere so that we can see how buzz/awareness are pacing versus prior season.

I love that you can see clear follower insights for the content as well as the content engagement that the posts drive. The ability to find and identify top followers to use as brand advocates is a great feature as well. 
Another feature that is great is the Story Runner and how you can compare engagement and brand measurement pre and post your campaign flight.

**What do you dislike about ListenFirst?**

There isn't much that I dislike about the product at the moment.

I would recommend others considering ListenFirst to see the importance of campaign analysis, social engagement analysis, and an overall understanding of the industry.

As a new user, I think the client support is really great. I also like seeing the different reports the insights group shares so we can get an idea of what the tool is capable of. 

**What do you dislike about ListenFirst?**

The user interface could be more intuitive. Also, small sample sizes make it difficult to cut data in different ways.  Its difficult to make sense of all the different metrics and when to use what.

Having a go to source to help us benchmark the social buzz of our talent, programs, and campaigns against others. Analyzed the effectiveness of social media efforts.

**What do you like best about ListenFirst?**

ListenFirst allows us to only use 1 platform for social analytics and listening. Prior to using ListenFirst we used multiple social vendors for different types of social insights. ListenFirst is a much more efficient way to access that same data.

**What do you dislike about ListenFirst?**

Some of the data like demographics can't be exported. 

**What problems is ListenFirst solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We use ListenFirst for various business initiatives such as sales/marketing projects, social campaign analysis, and editorial analysis/benchmarking.

I like that the network reps are fast to respond, answer questions, and pull together decks regarding specific questions we have around a show.

Methodology seems strange for some metrics.

Very interesting metrics and there are a lot of ways to look at the data. However, it can be hard to interpret. Luckily the support teams are helpful.

We've appreciated being able to see Twitter conversation surrounding our shows, see Press hits that brought buzz to the shows, and see how it ranked up against our competitors.
