## Linux Mint Reviews
  ### 1. Decent OS for low powered machines

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Monica S. | Marketing Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 18, 2022

**What do you like best about Linux Mint?**

I like that this OS works very well on old machines with relatively lower hardware configurations. I was able to run this on my old 2005 Macbook. It was able to support all applications for simple browsing.

**What do you dislike about Linux Mint?**

Since this is a lighter version of the OS, the features are limited. Also, GUI is very limited, unlike the other distributions of Linux. However, it does get the job done for simpler deployments and if the requirements are limited to light browsing.

**What problems is Linux Mint solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The most significant one is that it is very light, and it can successfully run on older hardware with limited resources. It makes the older machines useful again for limited purposes.

  ### 2. Linux mint is user friendly linux distrubution

The interface is the best. It has a beautiful interface. system performance is also good. Its based on debian so all debian packages can be easily installed.its safe and reliable.

**What do you dislike about Linux Mint?**

Linux mint size is too large . You cannot run ot on a bit old machine. There is no personal package archive its better if they add personal package archive in the package.

**What problems is Linux Mint solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Its providing full multimedia support and extremely easy to use. So i use it for multi media task and i also use it for devops tools practices. And sometimes i also use it for local server build.

**Reviewed by:** Jesus M. | Office Director, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**What do you like best about Linux Mint?**

I like lightweight xfce desktop and various compatible add-ons for Mint, built-in software during install, and tested automatic security updates.
Stable and search files within system.

**What do you dislike about Linux Mint?**

Mint gets slow with time of use on PC, takes time to open files, programs and crashes my system, high consumption of RAM and cannot be optimized automatically without applying code or clean installation.

**Recommendations to others considering Linux Mint:**

Download xfce desktop for low-resource PC, another desktop version for a better view.

**What problems is Linux Mint solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Development of software and security on PC, virus-free system and Kernel compatible with Ubuntu and Debian, package, well-known repositories on the list and maximum use of PC.
