"Fantastic tool for C#/.NET developers!!"
What do you like best about LINQPad?

* It is a lightweight editor that runs queries faster than Visual Studio.

* It has a well-organized result view that saves hundreds of hours of debugging in Visual Studio.

* It supports Entity Framework, LINQ, and traditional SQL scripts. You can run the same data sources from your web APIs without hassle.

* It is free to download and use. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about LINQPad?

* The UI looks outdated. The app may freeze on newer versions of the Windows operating system.

* There is minimal scope for collaborative work and no options to export query files.

* The editor does not indicate what is wrong with queries until they are run. However, the new AI Help option has somewhat addressed this problem. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Effortless Coding and Rapid Results"
What do you like best about LINQPad?

LINQPad allows me to experiment rapidly with my LINQ and SQL queries and I get instant feedback which allows me to alter and iterate my queries effortlessly, I can also connect to my data sources which allows me to test my queries on real-time data which has been invaluable to me. The code snippet library is fantastic with such great snippets provided by the community I have often found a snippet that does exaclty what I need to do, all of this and an interactive debugger so I can step through my queries makes LINQPad the ideal experimentation tool. What do you dislike about LINQPad?

If you want to write queries for models that aren't stored in a database it can be quite a hassle to get LINQPad set up to handle your model so often it is just easier to experiment in your IDE but this is a small edge case in my experience. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Here is Effortless Iteration and Debugging"
What do you like best about LINQPad?

How simple it is to receive prompt feedback and present my outputs neatly is something I really like. The outstanding and extremely useful code snippet library deserves praise. The interactive debuggers ability to allow me to step by step work through my queries is another something I enjoy. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about LINQPad?

It can be a little challenging, in my experience, to configure LINQPad to handle models that are not saved in a database, but overall its a small issue. The app can not be handled and crashing on the window. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"New user to Linqpad"
What do you like best about LINQPad?

Linqpad has became a useful tool in troubleshooting the application that I support quickly and efficiently. It seems to be pretty user friendly and simple to learn. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about LINQPad?

It was hard to get the application set up, especially when I had to change computers twice. It would be nice to be able to save all files and settings from one PC to another. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Automated Azure Firewall Updation with Multi-Factor Authentication Script Testing - LINQPad Platform"
What do you like best about LINQPad?

LINQPad is best when it comes to testing our automated scripts for our Azure deployments. Its NuGet package manager executes all our saved queries and also restores any package that is missing for referencing our custom assemblies. It's incredible for handling our natural query language as it pluralizes child-associated properties for quick and effective executions and keeps parent-associated properties as singular entities for our convenience. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about LINQPad?

LINQPad is case-sensitive for our C# scripts. Although it's manageable, we need to ensure to reference correct attributes in our code for getting the script appropriately tested. I didn't find anything to be posed as a dislike while using LINQPad for our Azure deliverables. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"It turns out to be an excellent option to test our code in a quite simple way."
What do you like best about LINQPad?

It turns out to be an excellent option to test our code in a fairly simple, easy, and fast way. The fact that it supports many programming languages is quite useful, especially since we have been using it to test the proper functioning of our databases by making queries in SQL that have been executed perfectly, without any inconvenience. In terms of performance, the application is quite fast and efficient, largely due to its low weight, which allows our team not to consume large amounts of resources running the application, enabling us to use other programs without any problem. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about LINQPad?

The code editor is not at all intelligent, since it does not identify syntax errors immediately, so it is only possible to realize that there is a syntax error when you see that the code does not execute immediately. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Great as a .Net/MS SQL Scratchpad!"
What do you like best about LINQPad?

Linqpad allows you to write little snippets of code and immediately see the results. I use it often to test out regular expression patterns and to test out features of C#/.Net that I haven't used previously to see how they work. Intellisense (paid version) is a life saver too. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about LINQPad?

The only thing that I dislike is not having the ability to add nuget packages for the free version. I don't think that should be only offered to paying users. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
