It is the second cloud that I've touched after AWS and it is very clear and accurate. For big infrastructure and many services Linode is not suitable, but it is perfect for small infrastructure, for creating POC environments - this is basically my use case. **What problems is Akamai Cloud Computing solving and how is that benefiting you?** Quick spin up of virtual private servers. I ran the yabs.sh benchmark on Digital Ocean, Vultr and Akamai\Linode and Akamai\Linode came out on top. **What do you dislike about Akamai Cloud Computing?** 2 challenges I faced with Linode - 1 - You can't "stack" node balancers, once you reach the 10k limit it's then up to your DNS server to round robin distribute the traffic, which is imperfect as a load balancer. 2 - There's no way to scale up\down a database cluster. **What problems is Akamai Cloud Computing solving and how is that benefiting you?** Having performant hardware at an affordable cost with many regions for user locality. **Official Response from Support:** > Hey Ben!
