We used to use SharePoint to store and manage contracts, which was becoming a nightmare, as the number of contracts continued to grow. The platform is very intuitive and fast. There are so many features which require specialized instruction. Training sessions I have been on have only showed a broad overview without focusing on more detailed aspects of a feature. LinkSquares CLM is highly customizable (i.e., not one size fits all) and they provide hands on support to make sure that it is implemented correctly and setup for success. The ability to use LinkSquares as a central point of communication on a contract is a bit limited. I wish the interface for providing comments was a little more customizable/prominent and it was easier to incorporate outside emails directly into the matter (e.g., each matter generating a dedicated email address). With LinkSquares we now have a indexed, highly-searchable repository, which has helped cut down on the time spent on due diligence while also making our responses more accurate. Customer support is truly top notch. The Linksquares team is extremely helpful before, during, and after the onboarding process. CSMs are extremely attentive and are quick to assist with any problem - small or large. My company was in a bit of a unique situation while we onboarded and then when through a bunch of personnel changes. Through all, the Linksquares team was there and put in extra work training the new folks. They also take customer feedback very seriously and are constantly improving the product. They wanted to solve every hiccup we had. The Analyze product is wonderful. It is so helpful for tracking agreement obligations and deadlines and saves a ton of manpower in the process (and is much more accurate than if the legal team had done all the work). The tagging feature is fantastic for keeping agreements organized and making it easier for users to quickly find what they need. The new party library feature is great for keeping Analyze neat and clean for users. Also love how you can add notes, attachments, and tasks to each agreement in Analyze. Finalize is very customizable and pretty easy to learn how to administer (and the Linksquares team will help you build out your templates). Attorneys will love the word plugin. The insights on the Dashboard are so good that I have not felt the need to create any custom ones. We haven't had any complaints from business users about Linksquares being difficult to learn to use, which we did from our previous CLM. Highly recommend - great product, even better team behind it. There are some small things about the products that aren't exactly how I'd like them - for instance, I wish there would be an option for automatic agreement naming in Finalize instead of relying on users to name the agreements, as users cannot seem to follow the naming convention. Main Issues or Weaknesses: To be honest, there really aren't any, but if I had to offer a few I would say they are: 1. Cost of adding bespoke Smart Tags/Fields 2. Contract Analytics - this is making us so much more productive and efficient. It's game-changing for so many reasons. From having a simple and effective fully searchable single point of truth for all contracts (ie as contract repository) to the AI it offers. But overall the process of buying, implementing and using the product is simple, easy and very cost effective.
