A lot of things like in mail messages and the ability to track the activity and interactions that people are doing on my account.

**What do you dislike about LinkedIn Premium?**

In mail messages are a very good tool for those indulging in online sales to easily send across our message to the right set of people, But the receiver gets the message with a tag of inmail. So it can be a put off for the prospect as it gives a feel of a very cold approach

The major problem that I solve through Linkedin premium is unlimited searches and extended access.
Linkedin restricts the searches and also hides some profiles if we are not using premium.

LinkedIn premium is a very good platform for every user who are in professional services either who are Job seeker or a Professional recruiter. I am using LinkedIn premium and RPS to find the best talent in the market, some time some profiles are not available on job boards but most of professionals are active on LinkedIn and can be reached by LinkedIn Premium. Job posting and Mail sending are very responsive on LinkedIn. Although LinkedIn is a very useful tool for me as a recruiter.

**What do you dislike about LinkedIn Premium?**

LinkedIn gives very limited number of mails and another features, if we are purchasing so they should give us unlimited accessing or advantage to connect with consultant, why should we have to pay more for those features which are already expensive, and only premium member can see that who viewed your profile, this is very basic thing which i s also paid.

  ### 17. Awful Experience Not Needed Unless Living in Big City

**Rating:** 0.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Marketing and Advertising | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 19, 2020

**What do you like best about LinkedIn Premium?**

There was nothing I liked about LinkedIn Premium. It was LinkedIn with gold coloring for which I spent $30. There were no useful features. The "jobs for you" were the same jobs that were shown to me before and after I paid $30. I think I used In-Mail once and never ultimately even received word that the message was ever received.

**What do you dislike about LinkedIn Premium?**

Everything - it's a terribly high price to pay for zero return. Despite living near 3 significantly-sized cities, I don't think LinkedIn Premium is worthwhile unless likely in a large city where it might take a few days to sift through all the opportunity. But otherwise, you're paying $30/month for special access to the 3rd best job posting site and like the 6th best social media platform.

**Recommendations to others considering LinkedIn Premium:**

Just save the $30 unless you live in a New York, Chicago, Los Angeles, or other major metro area.

**What problems is LinkedIn Premium solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I solved zero problems with LinkedIn Premium and have received no real tangible benefit that I could describe to anyone.

  ### 19. Grow your network and build your career path

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Laszlo A. | Software Developer, Information Technology and Services, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 29, 2019

**What do you like best about LinkedIn Premium?**

LinkedIn is very great tool for building career profile where you can be seen by millions of employers around the world. With the premium account you can get a lot of benefits which is great for many purposes, such as, building a professional and strong network, seeking jobs, checking your profile views and also learning. While searching a job this feature helps you send a notification to the job advertiser that you have already applied the job, even you are using the external website for the application. In these days online courses plays an important role for gaining skills for every areas, with the LinkedIn premium it is very easy where, it is possible to enroll a lot of high quality courses and get certified. Basically with the help of this tool you can easily build your professional profile in a professional way.

**What do you dislike about LinkedIn Premium?**

The thing is that this tool is a great while you are seeking for a job, where you can get benefits while searching jobs and get certification for the skills. However, if you are already got a job you can just use it for learning purpose and other features seems unimportant. Moreover, for a beginner such as for a student the pricing is high, it would be better if there is some kind of gifts for the students in order to pursue their careers.

**What problems is LinkedIn Premium solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I am already working a company and while seeking for a job I have used this tool. Right now I am using this for learning where I can gain a lot of strong skills and develop myself.

  ### 20. Build your professional background easily

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Zoltan F. | Financial Controller, Oil & Energy, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 15, 2019

**What do you like best about LinkedIn Premium?**

I am using Linkedin more than two years and I was one of the major things in building my career. With premium account you will have a lot of opportunities which will help you to be more professional, for example when you have a premium account you could access to the linkedin learning freely where you can find millions of courses to improve your skills and also they will appear on your profile and it will show that you are professional on that skill. Moreover, the job seeking is also very easy with the premium account where you can directly contact to job poster or while applying to the job externally you can notify the job poster that you are applying for that job. As a professional I am also very interested who is viewing my profile therefore with premium feature I can see that who is viewing my profile and I can collect information about them that why they are looking at my profile.

**What do you dislike about LinkedIn Premium?**

The only problem that I have faced while using this application was the pricing and deduction of the money from my account. I have activated and deactivated this feature many times before and then again it was offering me some free month, however, after the free month was ending they never notify you that some amount of money will be deducted from your account. Moreover, the price of the premium feature is a bit high because I have used this feature while I was unemployed and therefore I have stopped many times because of being a bit expensive.

**Recommendations to others considering LinkedIn Premium:**

If you are using linkedin premium trial be careful before month ends it could deduct money from your your account without any information.

**What problems is LinkedIn Premium solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I am using this tool for building my professional background and mainly I use it for the courses on linkedin learning where I improve my skills a lot.

  ### 21. Director of Recruitment & Client Service

**Reviewed by:** Sarah C. | Director, Recruitment & Client Service, Human Resources, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 23, 2019

**What do you like best about LinkedIn Premium?**

It is very helpful in recruiting and collaborating- like the projects feature where you can bucket lists of candidates that you can references for other searches and projects.

**What do you dislike about LinkedIn Premium?**

Dislike: the updates and how it doesn't warn or teach you how to use the new systems- sometimes the updates interfere with our database management system. Don't like how hard it is to navigate someones contact info.

**Recommendations to others considering LinkedIn Premium:**

I would recommend LinkedIn Premium/ Recruiter

**What problems is LinkedIn Premium solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Great collaboration tool- myself and my team can see each others reach outs and messaging so we don't overlap with candidates. It increases efficiency as you can send out multiple customized messages at once.

I tried LinkedIn premium, and now my whole team uses it. Its helpful to send inMail to other premium users. Its a good indicator that you can actually be contacted on LinkedIn.

**What problems is LinkedIn Premium solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Contacting other professional users who are likely to get back to you. Insights into who is viewing your profile beyond what regular LinkedIn users can see.

  ### 24. Linkedin premium excellent tool for job search.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** luis alberto p. | ingeniero , Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 31, 2019

**What do you like best about LinkedIn Premium?**

For job seekers, it is a free application and there is also a mobile version available. LinkedIn is easy to create your profile online from your resume. Connection requests are easy to send, and LinkedIn even makes suggestions from people you may know. The "degrees" of a connection are a good feature. The ability to send an InMail message to the person who posted the job and the reference request are also excellent features to help in my job search. LinkedIn also has its own messaging service to allow direct messages through the application, even without the traditional text messaging services. I would like to see real work recommendations based on the content of my LinkedIn profile.

**What do you dislike about LinkedIn Premium?**

When you create a job offer, you must enter 1 specific location where the position is located. I would like there to be a field that would allow you to include more than 1 location. This way I do not have to do the same job posting twice with the different locations. Therefore, my biggest disadvantage would be the lack of personalization of the location for the job.

**Recommendations to others considering LinkedIn Premium:**

In general, what LinkedIn premium is unique, as it creates a professional social networking platform to connect job seekers and recruiters. It has a great interface and many tools to help you be as active as you want and tips to stand out above the rest if you spend time, I recommend it.

**What problems is LinkedIn Premium solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Currently LinkedIn Premium is an incredible software for all those who are looking for a job change. I think everyone can have a desirable job with the help of LinkedIn, I just need some efforts and time to apply, it saves me time to check the resume of the ideal person that my super good company needs.

  ### 25. Use to get to clients

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** JaNet A. | employee, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 02, 2019

**What do you like best about LinkedIn Premium?**

I like that you get 15 in mails a month. That helped me get to different client targets that were unreachable before I did LinkedIn Premium. You also are able to see everyone who has viewed your profile. It also separates those people into where they are professionally.

**What do you dislike about LinkedIn Premium?**

The price is very high for what it offers and depending on what you want to do with LinkedIn Premium the price is higher. I don't see much more it does over the free version.

**Recommendations to others considering LinkedIn Premium:**

Know that it can be pricey for what you are needing from it. In order to justify the price you need to be pulling in five figure contracts.

**What problems is LinkedIn Premium solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The business problem I am solving is getting to the decision makers. I don't have to go through a gatekeeper.

  ### 26. Linkedin Premium- Is it worth it?

**Rating:** 1.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Management Consulting | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 16, 2019

**What do you like best about LinkedIn Premium?**

Access to full information during search.
No limits on search.
Ability to communicate with anyone.

**What do you dislike about LinkedIn Premium?**

Too expensive for the limited features it offers.

**Recommendations to others considering LinkedIn Premium:**

As of now, it is only a small status symbol. Utility is very limited. If more features are added imaginatively, and if pricing is made more affordable, there would be a flood of demand. The Premium concept is excellent but their strategy is poor.

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Legal Services | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 31, 2019

**What do you like best about LinkedIn Premium?**

The only good feature is being able to see who viewed my profile for curiosity purposes.

**What do you dislike about LinkedIn Premium?**

It's expensive and I don't even understand the features. It does nothing for me. I have to pay a lot of money just to see who viewed my profile which seems silly.

**Recommendations to others considering LinkedIn Premium:**

Only try this with a free trial first to see if there is any benefit. I couldn't see any myself.

**What problems is LinkedIn Premium solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It solves really no problems other than me being curious about who viewed my profile.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 14, 2018

**What do you like best about LinkedIn Premium?**

i am a sales development representative at datadog and i love using linkedin premium. my company, datadog, pays for the premium so that we have access and so that we can be better sales people. being a sales development representative, it's sometimes difficult to reach clients and having in mail credits is awesome.

**What do you dislike about LinkedIn Premium?**

the more inmail credits we could get would be better. we don't get enough and then i can't reach everyone i need to reach in regards to selling datadog (the company i work for) and the fact that if i can't reach people that i need to sell to then i won't be able to sell the product and then i won't be successful at my job

**Recommendations to others considering LinkedIn Premium:**

love it

**What problems is LinkedIn Premium solving and how is that benefiting you?**

contacting prospects and selling datadog to them.

  ### 36. Great for prospecting

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Internet | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 22, 2018

**What do you like best about LinkedIn Premium?**

I love that is has a deeper understanding of companies and allows for easier prospecting.

**What do you dislike about LinkedIn Premium?**

There are a lot of features to learn, its more on the user learning curve and not the product

**Recommendations to others considering LinkedIn Premium:**

I would use it to its full capabilities. Following companies and getting updates is my favorite part so far

**What problems is LinkedIn Premium solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I am able to do deeper prospecting and learn more about companies and people (prospects). You are able to follow companies and get updates when they are posted which allows you to make a more personal email to them.

  ### 37. LinkedIn Premium

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Civil Engineering | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 29, 2018

**What do you like best about LinkedIn Premium?**

The fact that having a Premium account adds a lot of credibility to your profile.
This is very important when you are approaching people for jobs on LinkedIn.
Another good feature is that it displays how you fare against other applicants for a particular job opening.
Lastly, the courses on LinkedIn Learning are also really informative.

**What do you dislike about LinkedIn Premium?**

The price is a little too high, especially for a student like myself.
Another thing that can be changed is the number of InMail credits that are offered. Normally, a user is just allowed 5 InMail credits and this can be increased a little.

**What problems is LinkedIn Premium solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Networking
Job Search

  ### 38. Infuriating Job Listing

**Rating:** 1.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Chemicals | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 21, 2018

**What do you like best about LinkedIn Premium?**

Currently, LinkedIn is the most popular business connection site in the world.

**What do you dislike about LinkedIn Premium?**

...but the job listings is incredibly infuriating. In spite of adding filters, jobs are presented in various lists and NOT IN THE CHRONOLOGICAL order the were posted. You can then delete some job offers you are not interested in on some lists, but they can reappear in the same list or on another list. It is a ridiculous exercise in searching and filtering.

**Recommendations to others considering LinkedIn Premium:**

Provide a single, simple list of job offers, in chronological order of posting, the user can effectively filter and permanently delete parts of. The various lists of jobs are confusing and ineffective.

**What problems is LinkedIn Premium solving and how is that benefiting you?**

LinkedIn remains a great forum to connect and communicate with business.

  ### 39. Great for growing your business through social selling

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Kelly A. | Marketing Director, Financial Services, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 10, 2017

**What do you like best about LinkedIn Premium?**

I love that you can see everyone who has viewed your profile and also unlimited searches. if you are prospecting on linkedin and looking to grow your network - premium is a MUST! because it gives you the ability to dive deep and really get to all the important leads that you need in order to be successful in whatever industry you are apart of.

**What do you dislike about LinkedIn Premium?**

sometime the searching is difficult where it doesn't show new people. needs to be creative sometimes on what keywords you are searching for.

**Recommendations to others considering LinkedIn Premium:**

If you are looking for new clients do the premium account. It is setting you up to succeed

**What problems is LinkedIn Premium solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We were trying to find a better way to prospect. The key performer is knowing who your target market is - whether it is alum, specific industry, sports enthusiast - you can find them on LI. We needed to get intouch with the right people and LI is helping us to do so.

  ### 40. Excellent tool

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 02, 2017

**What do you like best about LinkedIn Premium?**

I value the ability to send an InMail to a person who's outside my network. Also great to see who's viewed my profile. I only just realized I have access to online learning through my Premium subscription, so I'm looking forward to taking advantage of that!

**What do you dislike about LinkedIn Premium?**

If I'm not mistaken, when messaging with the built-in chat hitting the "Return" key sends the message. That feature is a pet peeve of mine since I often forget and have sent messages before I was ready (when I was just trying to add a paragraph break) - it'd be great to be able to have an option to have that key behave differently. If that's already an available preference, would love to know that!

**What problems is LinkedIn Premium solving and how is that benefiting you?**

For work, I've used LinkedIn to find companies and individuals that seem especially likely to benefit from our company's offerings.

  ### 41. Try cancelling your Premium Memership

**Rating:** 0.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Design | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 18, 2017

**What do you like best about LinkedIn Premium?**

So far the best use I have been able to take advantage of is to confirm if a particular person works at a certain company. And even that information if iffy because the person may have not changed their profile on linkedin. I am linkedout.

**What do you dislike about LinkedIn Premium?**

When trying to contact Linkedin on the phone, there is no direct phone number provided to call!
You have google several different phone numbers, which state that you call and get a live person on the phone which NONE of the numbers connect to a live person. It is an act of Congress to cancel your membership.

**Recommendations to others considering LinkedIn Premium:**

I recommend that linkedin provide an easy way for the membership to make contact with customer service. It seems like linkedin it set up to avoid speaking to their membership to avoid dealing with issues.

**What problems is LinkedIn Premium solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I contacted several potential customers through the website. Very few will respond.

  ### 42. Great insight and perks for Job-Seeker Premium.

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Tammy R. | Graphic Designer, Graphic Design, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 21, 2016

**What do you like best about LinkedIn Premium?**

I have the Job Seeker Premium level, and I have benefited from the Job Seeker Premium discussion group, as well as the Premium insights provided when looking for jobs. The ability to message recruiters and company connections is quite a bonus, too!

**What do you dislike about LinkedIn Premium?**

The $29.95 per month is relatively expensive, especially for a job seeker. I am not using all of the features available to me to their fullest extent, though...

**Recommendations to others considering LinkedIn Premium:**

At its core, LinkedIn is an excellent platform. Premium provides much more, which has been a fantastic benefit for job-seeking. I do not know much about the other levels of Premium, but I imagine having a more well-rounded LinkedIn experience is an excellent benefit no matter the level!

**What problems is LinkedIn Premium solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I decided to invest in Job Seeker Premium in order to expand my networking and job search skills. I have been able to see many different perspectives on job hunting thanks to the Job Seeker Premium group. By having this group private, there is a protection against being "outed" by a current coworker or employer (which is not applicable to me, but still...).

  ### 43. Great Service

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jake H. | Regional Sales Manager - Roofing, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 22, 2018

**What do you like best about LinkedIn Premium?**

I loved that you were able to turn off and on certain features that you typically would be unable to with a standard account. I also like that you are able to private message people without having to be connected to that individual.

**What do you dislike about LinkedIn Premium?**

The pricing in my opinion was a bit steep to really be able to use it for what is is intended.

**What problems is LinkedIn Premium solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Being able to connect and contact people via linked to get another touch point with a prospective lead.

  ### 44. Sales Executive Experience

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 06, 2018

**What do you like best about LinkedIn Premium?**

Being able to see who has viewed my profile as well as have more capabilities then original Linkedln

**What do you dislike about LinkedIn Premium?**

nothing right now that I can think of that needs improvement

**What problems is LinkedIn Premium solving and how is that benefiting you?**

finding out the right person of contact

  ### 45. Allows for greater access to targets

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** David K. | Chief Marketing Officer, Information Technology and Services, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 26, 2018

**What do you like best about LinkedIn Premium?**

Allows for greater access to targets and companies we are looking to contact

**What do you dislike about LinkedIn Premium?**

Can be a little limited on specific information we need

**What problems is LinkedIn Premium solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Allows for greater access to targets

  ### 46. Recruiter using LinkedIn

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 27, 2017

**What do you like best about LinkedIn Premium?**

Ease of use, most of the filters on the search function are great and very useful

**What do you dislike about LinkedIn Premium?**

That I can't change some of the filters, like if someone on my team viewed a profile or messaged a candidate in the past 1 week or 2 weeks.

**What problems is LinkedIn Premium solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It helps me find a ton of candidates for my recruiting role.

  ### 47. Great for Generating New Leads

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Marketing and Advertising | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 06, 2017

**What do you like best about LinkedIn Premium?**

Premium is easy to use and very intuitive. It comes with several features that are great for lead gen.

**What do you dislike about LinkedIn Premium?**

Nothing. I find it to be very user-friendly.

**Recommendations to others considering LinkedIn Premium:**

Do the trial and explore all the features for yourself.

**What problems is LinkedIn Premium solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I'm adding targeting connections, reaching out to new leads and getting on sales calls.

  ### 48. LinkedIn Premium

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Marketing and Advertising | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 19, 2017

**What do you like best about LinkedIn Premium?**

As a recruiter, it is the best tool I have in my box. I am connected to so many others and can fill positions up to 30 days faster than I was prior to having a premium account.

**What do you dislike about LinkedIn Premium?**

I don't like that you can view others in private mode. This is a networking sight which implies visibility -- I want people to know who I am when I see them and I'd like to know who is viewing my profile.

**Recommendations to others considering LinkedIn Premium:**

Don't be afraid to connect with others in your industry that you don't know personally!

**What problems is LinkedIn Premium solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I am filling jobs much quicker and I am able to network without ever leaving my office.

  ### 49. Don't do it

**Rating:** 0.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Research | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 05, 2017

**What do you like best about LinkedIn Premium?**

The inmail feature was the only thing remotely useful.

**What do you dislike about LinkedIn Premium?**

It was totally useless otherwise. Also they will charge your account so don't forget. Also, the new linkedin interface in general is horrible. It's only a matter of time before some other networking site takes that market.

**Recommendations to others considering LinkedIn Premium:**

Don't do it. Better to burn the money for heat.

**What problems is LinkedIn Premium solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I was using it for a job hunt in another country. I did not realize any benefits. Had no additional insight into who was viewing my profile. No additional uptick in job leads. No response from inmails sent. The premium thread questions were the same quality as the other lists I was on, except being general basic questions they were pretty useless compared to a simple google search.

  ### 50. Improving interface but needs better integration with sales navigator

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Richard M. | Group Manager Business Technology, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 24, 2017

**What do you like best about LinkedIn Premium?**

It gives you superior access to people in the LinkedIn network - much more convenient than the free version

**What do you dislike about LinkedIn Premium?**

Sales Navigator is a separate step - you have to actively choose to use it rather than it being the standard screen when you login.

**Recommendations to others considering LinkedIn Premium:**

It is not a cheap solution - perhaps test it first with some key users - including detractors. Find out what works and what does not before committing.

**What problems is LinkedIn Premium solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Access to a wider network of people in industries and companies than interest us
