## LinkedIn Learning Reviews
 ### 1. Great for Quick Refreshers, Lacks Depth for Skill Mastery

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Mouloukou K. | Founder, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 13, 2025

**What do you like best about LinkedIn Learning?**

This learning resource is concise and direct, making it excellent for refreshing your knowledge or getting a quick introduction to various topics.

**What do you dislike about LinkedIn Learning?**

When it comes to truly mastering skills and developing new abilities, I find that most courses are too short and lack in-depth learning. They generally provide a decent introduction, but do not go far enough for those seeking comprehensive understanding.

**What problems is LinkedIn Learning solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I appreciate being able to find concise, high-quality content that introduces a range of business topics. It makes it much easier to get a quick overview and understand the basics of different areas in business.

 ### 2. Easy to Access, but Too Often Boring and Low-Quality

**Rating:** 2.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Networking | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 09, 2026

**What do you like best about LinkedIn Learning?**

easy to access, bundled with work, some good quality stuff

**What do you dislike about LinkedIn Learning?**

mostly boring and low quality, often very low budget productions over laden with buzzwords

**What problems is LinkedIn Learning solving and how is that benefiting you?**

access to learning materials

 ### 3. LinkedIn Learning - Outstanding Source for Learning

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** BILL G. | Technical Operations | Chemical Mfg | Project Leader| Cont Improvement Specialist | Consultant, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 26, 2024

**What do you like best about LinkedIn Learning?**

LinkedIn Learning is a wonderful platform for learning and continuous improvement. It has courses on a wide variety of topics; many courses have quizzes and tests which are good tools to self check.

**What do you dislike about LinkedIn Learning?**

As good as it is, LinkedIn Learning is missing courses on many topics that I need (FMEA, MSA, statistical software such including JMP). Also, they need to do a better job of asking (requiring?) the instructors to update the material when the topics are rapidly changing (Power BI is one example). And for some topics (6 Sigma) the courses are pretty dry: just having better and more engaging exerciese would help. Customer support should be better across the board.

**What problems is LinkedIn Learning solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Gives me a good variety of courses on topics of interest w/o too much overlap. I like that I can find course designed for [true] beginners, yet i can also get to material which is designed form much more advanced learnings.

 ### 4. LinkedIn learning is good to start your learning journey

**Rating:** 2.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 27, 2023

**What do you like best about LinkedIn Learning?**

I feel user interface is very effective and easy to understand. This app/website is self understandable. Video quality is also very good. Some content are really great.

**What do you dislike about LinkedIn Learning?**

All is good. But this platform is not very rich in terms of contents. Good creators are very less compare to other platforms in technology field.

**What problems is LinkedIn Learning solving and how is that benefiting you?**

LinkedIn learning provide good learning platform where we will get all the course irrespective of any field. They help me to learn java related courses but they are not that much effective.

 ### 5. Very quickly get tired of the courses

**Rating:** 2.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Nibu T. | Director Information Development, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 17, 2023

**What do you like best about LinkedIn Learning?**

Some courses are very good. Especially from specific people

**What do you dislike about LinkedIn Learning?**

Not enough coverage on specific areas. For example technical communication - there's hardly anything.

**What problems is LinkedIn Learning solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The biggest problem it solves is that there is a resource to check that's readily available for any knowledge need. However, the spread of content for specific needs isn't enough. When courses are available, there's not enough depth in many courses. Since we have been using it for the past 2 years, it's possible that we have also got bored of it.
Now you have to keep something in mind so you have a better prespective of where I'm coming from. I'm probably a very high user of LiLearn, one of the highest in my organizations - with over 250 completed courses.

 ### 6. A Platform Full of Knowledge

**Rating:** 2.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Manish S. | Growth Marketer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 23, 2022

**What do you like best about LinkedIn Learning?**

I use it as an individual user to learn new things and upskill myself so that I can grow my business. It's a subscription-based learning program and the best thing I love about Linkedin Learning is that they support education by providing access to their content even without a subscription.

**What do you dislike about LinkedIn Learning?**

They have so many courses on their platform on almost every topic which is both good and bad in my opinion. You have a lot of options to pick which makes it more like a fish market.

**What problems is LinkedIn Learning solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Of course, learning a lot of new things and upskilling myself eventually helps me successfully run and grow my business, build credibility and help more people.

 ### 7. Platform was good content was not up to the mark

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Sudheer N. | Assistant systems engineer, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 12, 2022

**What do you like best about LinkedIn Learning?**

UI is very smooth and any enterprise can use it as their learning platform but prices for subscription may be a standing factor but i would love to learn along with some courses

**What do you dislike about LinkedIn Learning?**

Platform-wise, it is very famous, as we all know. But I feel content-wise, it should be more insightful and provide Hands-on exercises in the middle to make learners a little bit involved in the learning process.

**What problems is LinkedIn Learning solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It is an online learning platform where we can get more insights about platforms. We were not aware that quizzes were good, but I was expecting some exercises which were not there.

 ### 8. LinkedIn Learning - better alternatives to this application exist

**Rating:** 2.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Anup J. | Office Bearer : bITeSys - System and Analytics Club, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 06, 2021

**What do you like best about LinkedIn Learning?**

LinkedIn Learning is a part of the LinkedIn Suite of applications where you can find professionally developed courses to cater to your specific needs. The subscription includes all the designed courses.

**What do you dislike about LinkedIn Learning?**

It has a few good courses, but not all are worth the time because as the platform claims to be a one-stop solution to your learning needs - it is not! There are better platforms that exist, like Unacademy and Udemy, that provide more filtered solutions.

**What problems is LinkedIn Learning solving and how is that benefiting you?**

LinkedIn Learning has helped me develop my skill set to be more productive. Courses related to data engineering and analytics also help me analyze financial trends - which I implement while investing. We use the LinkedIn learning platform to get access to a professional set of courses for better understanding.

 ### 9. Good courses for beginners to understand the concept

**Rating:** 2.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Darshan M. | Global Marketing Automation/Operations - Manager, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 28, 2021

**What do you like best about LinkedIn Learning?**

Wide variety of topics to cover, every topic is split and has a breakdown by content.

**What do you dislike about LinkedIn Learning?**

Topics are not so deep enough, I get a very good basic understanding but in-depth knowledge is missing.

**Recommendations to others considering LinkedIn Learning:**

Not so in depth knowledge anyone can get, but very good for basic understanding.

**What problems is LinkedIn Learning solving and how is that benefiting you?**

New topics can be learnt, it helps me to add to my resume about any subject that I gained some experience and learning with the help of linkedin Learning.

 ### 10. it's good for soft skills, but technical content can be outdated

**Rating:** 2.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Bruno V. | Senior Software Engineer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 23, 2021

**What do you like best about LinkedIn Learning?**

Nothing really stood out. The soft skills courses are nice. The price isn't that attractive to be competitive with alternative learning platforms that provide the same content.

**What do you dislike about LinkedIn Learning?**

The technical content can be outdated, although that might have changed from the last time I've used it.

**What problems is LinkedIn Learning solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Learning busines skills

 ### 11. LinkedIn Learning Review

**Rating:** 2.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Alexandre H. | Consultor, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 18, 2018

**What do you like best about LinkedIn Learning?**

The range of courses exceeds 5,000 specific courses in different subjects, and in different languages. Among them we can find: courses to complement your business training in areas such as marketing or digital skills, courses to encourage your creativity, or to increase your technological skills.
This gives us an opportunity to enhance our professional skills and job opportunities.
In addition, the courses are taught by experts with a long career in the training of different subjects.
The platform is well structured so the user finds and accesses the courses that interest him in the simplest way possible.
You will be able to save the courses that interest you in your library, and the courses you are doing at the moment and the ones you have done previously.
Another advantage is that you are allowed to download the files of the course you are doing, in order to facilitate offline study.

**What do you dislike about LinkedIn Learning?**

There are few courses in Spanish.
There are some topics that are not very complete.
There are also no courses about the main vendors certifications.

**Recommendations to others considering LinkedIn Learning:**

Test it. It's free. You have nothing to lose.
Study a course and get your own conclusions.

**What problems is LinkedIn Learning solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Would you like to improve your training with specific courses? Then LinkedIn Learning is what you were looking for.
LinkedIn Learning is a platform focused on online training. It is aimed for users of the LinkedIn social network, who wish to reinforce and complement their skills and professional training.

 ### 13. Free trial

**Rating:** 2.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Cassie S. | CVP, Outsourcing/Offshoring, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 18, 2018

**What do you like best about LinkedIn Learning?**

So far I like that fact that I can try out some different courses for free before I buy.

Nothing really that I have noticed maybe a little more categories to chose from.

**Recommendations to others considering LinkedIn Learning:**

More categories

**What problems is LinkedIn Learning solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I am learning about small business social media marketing. The do';s and don'ts I am about to start on instagram marketing.

 ### 14. LinkedIn Learning Review

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Tracy Mae M. | Master Hair & Makeup Artist , Cosmetics, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 21, 2018

**What do you like best about LinkedIn Learning?**

The option to view videos at more than 1x speed is a nice touch, and will be familiar to people who use podcast-listening apps. The LinkedIn Learning mobile app allows

**What do you dislike about LinkedIn Learning?**

The cost monthly, after the 30 day free trial it is $30 a month! Ahhh that’s a lot

**What problems is LinkedIn Learning solving and how is that benefiting you?**

If you play your cards right, what you learn from LinkedIn Learning can even play an essential part in landing your next job!

 ### 15. Very diverse, big range of scope for learning purposes

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 18, 2018

**What do you like best about LinkedIn Learning?**

The diversity of the training materials that is available. It is suitable for almost all departments in a company, from sales to marketing to designing, in encompasses all aspect and not difficult to find.

**What do you dislike about LinkedIn Learning?**

Not exactly a disadvantage, but it is not free. The other problem about this platform is that it is not easy to search for the exact material that is needed, without a proper search function.

**Recommendations to others considering LinkedIn Learning:**

I would say to add in a certain new function so that user can filter out the materials that they need easier. Making free trial is good where another suggestion would be making a certain materials free and some paid.

**What problems is LinkedIn Learning solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Gaining new knowledge for both senior and junior in the company to work better.

 ### 16. LinkedIn learning is a nice product if you have the patience and time

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Gary W. | Chief Creative, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 12, 2018

**What do you like best about LinkedIn Learning?**

Intuitive and informative. It shows skill sets that I may have not thought of but are included because of another skill set that is linked to you LinkedIn profile

**What do you dislike about LinkedIn Learning?**

Can be frustrating and time consuming. The app works but sometimes you go through tutorials and then it doesn’t show up that you have taken that course when you log back in

**What problems is LinkedIn Learning solving and how is that benefiting you?**

How to communicate effectively

 ### 17. LinkedIn Learning giving me insight I would not have

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Logan W. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 12, 2018

**What do you like best about LinkedIn Learning?**

I liked that LinkedIn learning posts articles that I enjoy reading!

**What do you dislike about LinkedIn Learning?**

The one thing that I dislike is that I don't know too much about LinkedIn Learning and what all its offerings are.

**Recommendations to others considering LinkedIn Learning:**

Read articles and re-post what you learn on your personal Linkedin!

**What problems is LinkedIn Learning solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I am learning about what is going on in my industry and staying up to date on news and best practices.

 ### 18. Tons of great content

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 12, 2018

**What do you like best about LinkedIn Learning?**

Tons on content on specific subject matters that help you advance in your position or the position you aim to get.

**What do you dislike about LinkedIn Learning?**

Feature set isn't in-depth, would still need to use an LMS for company wide learning. Modalities are limited, everything I took was video based.

**Recommendations to others considering LinkedIn Learning:**

Good library of prebuilt content if you don't have the ability to make your own. Well suited for the younger generation.

**What problems is LinkedIn Learning solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Super easy to understand from a content side, can solve challenges faced in your position quickly.

 ### 19. Depends on the person

**Rating:** 2.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Government Relations | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**What do you like best about LinkedIn Learning?**

He gives people an opportunity to learn and give the tools that they wouldn’t be able to get it from somewhere else.

**What do you dislike about LinkedIn Learning?**

I wished that would have more features and offer more, so a person can learn more about it.

**Recommendations to others considering LinkedIn Learning:**

Give more features

**What problems is LinkedIn Learning solving and how is that benefiting you?**

When it comes to fundraising it is very difficult and you have to have a plan in action and target your audience.

 ### 20. LinkedIn

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Marketing and Advertising | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 18, 2018

**What do you like best about LinkedIn Learning?**

I like how LinkedIn learning provides you with easy to access videos and learning techniques.

**What do you dislike about LinkedIn Learning?**

I dislike that the videos are sometimes so long and that there is not enough content.

**What problems is LinkedIn Learning solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I am working on API integration. I have realized that visual learning has been key to understanding this.

 ### 21. A great way to allow employees to signup for sessions thru a job site

**Rating:** 2.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Retail | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 12, 2018

**What do you like best about LinkedIn Learning?**

I can't say what I like best. I literally just started using this service.

**What do you dislike about LinkedIn Learning?**

I really can't say, I literally just start using this service.

**What problems is LinkedIn Learning solving and how is that benefiting you?**

No business problems I can say have been actually solved at this time. But looking to see how it .ca assist me in the future.

 ### 22. It's an ok service through work but I wouldn't pay for it

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Higher Education | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 01, 2018

**What do you like best about LinkedIn Learning?**

There is a lot of material available and the website/instructional sessions seem thorough and easy to use/interact with.

**What do you dislike about LinkedIn Learning?**

These are NOT classroom lesson in the scope of what I've used it. Instructor "talk" at you - it is a series of videos with no real work and examples to help set-up lectures and actually assist in learning

**What problems is LinkedIn Learning solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Our employer is using the service primarily to push diversity training on staff - it allows an easy outlet to ensure staff are taking diversity training without involving support staff in the process. A nominal fee is giving a decent outlet.

 ### 23. Great tool easy to use

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Education Management | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 18, 2018

I am able to find expertise in my field

 ### 25. Lynda.com is good for learning visually

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Higher Education | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 14, 2017

**What do you like best about LinkedIn Learning?**

I like that you learn by watching videos and can download course content, so you can go along with the course using the materials/files that the instructor has.

**What do you dislike about LinkedIn Learning?**

The videos aren't very exciting and a lot of the instructors love the sound of their voices too much. It can become quite frustrating as they tend to go at a very slow pace.

**Recommendations to others considering LinkedIn Learning:**

This is a great tool to learn skills, especially if the alternatives are out of the budget. Lynda.com is an affordable solution.

**What problems is LinkedIn Learning solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It teaches me more skills without my employer having to spend money on me attending courses, which is not in my departmental budget.

 ### 26. Lynda.com is the most helpful

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Higher Education | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 24, 2017

**What do you like best about LinkedIn Learning?**

I love the variety of training resources available on their site. I know that everything I'm looking for can be found here.

**What do you dislike about LinkedIn Learning?**

I don't like how you have to enter credit card details for a free trial. It seemed to be a method to lock me in even if I didn't want it

**What problems is LinkedIn Learning solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Easy training programs for HTML. I'm new to developing websites so it was nice to have a direct training resource at my fingertips.

 ### 27. Makes learning easy

**Reviewed Date:** October 24, 2017

**What do you like best about LinkedIn Learning?**

Easy to find topics in technology to learn about on my time frame.

**What do you dislike about LinkedIn Learning?**

Great for beginners. For more advanced users, it can be clunky.

**What problems is LinkedIn Learning solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It training primarily

 ### 28. LinkedIn Learning Made Easy

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Cassie G. | Senior Technical Product Manager, Hospital & Health Care, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 30, 2016

**What do you like best about LinkedIn Learning?**

Lynda makes it easy for me to brush up on skills I haven't used in a while or learn totally new skills easily! Courses are easy to navigate and skip sections where I already feel like my knowledge is sufficient, and skill levels make it easy to establish if my initial understanding is sufficient.

**What do you dislike about LinkedIn Learning?**

I absorb knowledge better by reading, highlighting and underlining text, so it is difficult for me to feel like I thoroughly comprehend video training, but there are transcripts and a special section for notes that help.

**Recommendations to others considering LinkedIn Learning:**

Starting with a skill I had some prior knowledge of helped me get a feel for how to use and interact with Lynda.

**What problems is LinkedIn Learning solving and how is that benefiting you?**

My office does not always offer a lot of professional development opportunities, so Lynda lets me explore different areas of growth that I find interesting!

 ### 29. Lynda.com review for real estate professional

**Rating:** 2.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Paige C. | Client Relationship Manager/ Executive Assistant, Real Estate, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 31, 2016

**What do you like best about LinkedIn Learning?**

I like the ease of access through my linkedin account. However, I find that that is all I really like about the program.

**What do you dislike about LinkedIn Learning?**

There isn't a lot of variety for my line of work. I find that the classes don't really teach me anything I didn't already know. I think they should increase the difficulty of the classes and make it worth while to sit through the videos. I find that I feel like I wasted time learning absolutely nothing. Bummed.

**Recommendations to others considering LinkedIn Learning:**

I recommend more in depth classes and coursework. really challenge people to get them into using the programs on a daily basis. Make classes worthwhile, offer certifications.

**What problems is LinkedIn Learning solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I am a real estate administration professional. I want to learn more about my field as well as marketing and social media, however, i don't feel like the courses are beneficial to my line of work.

 ### 30. Excellent video training for media and entry level tech training.

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer & Network Security | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 12, 2016

**What do you like best about LinkedIn Learning?**

The site is great at teaching technical skills and technique, such as software for video editing, photography, and animation. There are a few course on basic business principles as well but this is not a site to be used for primary technical training of coding/networking/cloud tech/etc. Search features work very well and some courses include offline content for you to use to follow along.

**What do you dislike about LinkedIn Learning?**

As an information security consultant, i find the training very lacking in the networking and security domains. There is very little information on industry standard certifications as this caters more toward beginners into the IT world. Overall I would say these courses are catered more towards artists and other creative professions.

**Recommendations to others considering LinkedIn Learning:**

Use the two week trial before you commit to a plan. You may find that its worth it for you if you have a wealth of things that you need foundational levels of knowledge in. Otherwise I would utilize youtube or cybrary or any of the other free educational resources to gain a foothold before moving to a mare advanced training platform. Pluralsight and cbtnuggets are two competitors in this field.

**What problems is LinkedIn Learning solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I am currently using Lynda to supplement some soft skills as well as improving graphic design for report writing. I plan to continue to use to gain foundational skills in areas I have little to no experience with. I am also using the things i have learned towards my quarterly goals within my company.

 ### 31. Great learning tool

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Cheryl C. | Growth Marketing Director, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 04, 2016

**What do you like best about LinkedIn Learning?**

They have such a large selection of content to learn from.

**What do you dislike about LinkedIn Learning?**

I don't have any dislikes. I think the tool is great for learning.

**What problems is LinkedIn Learning solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Used for personal employee growth.
