Time that translation routine takes is reduced as a result of intuitive interface and helpfull features provided by this service. **What do you dislike about LingoHub?** Communication with project owners is not really that intuitive but sure can be done. Automatic Russian translations sometimes can be completely broken, but I'm aware that this is still a huge challenge for software developers as the language is not really that simple to translate. **What problems is LingoHub solving and how is that benefiting you?** LingoHub helping me to translate user interfaces that our software development team creates to all kind of different languages, reaching foreign audiences becomes much easier. ### 2. Our translators (who are not developers or tech people) can understand very easily the platform since its interface is clear and intuitive. It's also very flexible: it makes it very easy to arrange different workloads and its easy-to-use link system (which you can use to add key numbers directly to a URL) allows for seamless multiplatform coordination (in particular we work with Slack, Jira and email, and it works perfectly). The LingoHub team is also very responsive and willing to help and improve their platform whenever there are any problems. **What do you dislike about LingoHub?** It would be amazing that they were integrated with platforms like WordPress. It would also be great if there was a way to make the context for a key more visible to translators than using the hidden "add a comment"/conversation tool. The implementation of their glossary function can feel a bit clunky sometimes. Note: these are very minor things to improve in the future, but the concept and the implementation of LingoHub are excellent. **Recommendations to others considering LingoHub:** It's a very well-rounded solution to solve the issue of coordinating translations for a product and it provides a platform for developers and translators to work easily. Suddenly, getting your site or app out in another language or two becomes (I hate to say) almost fun. If you're just contributing to a project (like I sometimes do) you'll appreciate the effort that has been put into just letting you do your job and not being bothered with overhead-type shenanigans. The translation UI is really neat, it actually can get a little addictive. **What do you dislike about LingoHub?** LH does not yet have the broad awareness some other VC-funded tools have, so when contributing to open source software you're usually forced to use something else still. I hear they're working on making the editor even better and all that, so it might catch on even more in the community. **Recommendations to others considering LingoHub:** They are very responsive, it makes sense to get their advice before setting up your project. It will smooth your experience during execution. As a translator or reviewer it also makes sense to familiarize yourself with shortcuts (I don't like shortcuts, but ... they make life easier) **What problems is LingoHub solving and how is that benefiting you?** Localizing web apps and sites in an easy browser-based interface, not having to know much about the technical side of it. The benefit is quite clear: login, upload or connect your sources (or be added to an existing project), and start working in the browser. If it's all translated and reviewed, the code gets pushed back to your production environment, and really no-one needs to deal with any files or formatting. ### 6. LingoHub helps me manage the process efficiently and helps translators to minimize translation time. The translators work in volunteer so the ease of use and translations time is critical to complete a translation. So far 95% of the translators finish the translation and doing occasional translations. I have no doubt that without a good translation tool like LingoHub we ended up with a lot fewer translations. ### 12. But once you know it it's fine. However, things like sending pull requests are a bit hidden. Also, since almost all text has a reference to "where it goes" we use the comments feature for this, but there could be a dedicated space for this. **Recommendations to others considering LingoHub:** LingoHub has been amazing for our team.
