Recommendations to others considering LIMSey: For smaller labs trying to grow and develop easy processes & procedures, consider this software to migrate most of your lab management needs into a single place. LIMSey is constantly adding new features, so even if it doesn't have the exact feature you want, reach out to the development team and see if it's something they can add. LIMSey provides me with a place to store all data and information related to the Jobs we do as a company in a searchable way. It helps manage the lab's equipment, scheduling, corrective action, documents, and preventive maintenance. At this time we we have chosen to only support storing assets like attachments (pictures, videos, documents, etc.) on our servers. Integrating local storage and retrieval can become a bit tricky in regards to syncing so it's not something we've prioritized. However, you can provide links in the application to your local storage which should provide a similar experience without the complexities of syncing. It is an indispensable tool to help our lab maintain ISO compliance. All your documents are in one location; test results, equipment maintenance and calibration records, corrective and preventive actions, and anything else you need for your auditors.
