Most LIMS were designed for clinical, pharmaceutical, or genomics work and then adapted for everything else. LIMSey was built from scratch for captive physical test labs, so the workflows, terminology, and features match how your lab actually operates. Track every job, sample, and test from submission through final report in one system. Job and task tracking Customizable kanban boards give your team a real-time view of every job in the lab, organized by status, requester, tag, or whatever matters to your workflow. Technicians see their assigned work in priority order. Managers see everything in process along with who is responsible, current task status, and estimated completion dates. Requesters stop emailing to ask where their job stands. Automated resource scheduling Define what equipment and people are capable of each task, how long each step takes, and which jobs are highest priority. Adaptable: Customizable enough to adapt to many of our existing processes. Compliant: Designed to accommodate ISO 17025 requirements across the entire platform. Constantly Improving: New features are added frequently to make lab management and ISO compliance easier. **What do you dislike about LIMSey?** No local document storage options are available - all documents are saved in cloud servers. **Recommendations to others considering LIMSey:** For smaller labs trying to grow and develop easy processes & procedures, consider this software to migrate most of your lab management needs into a single place. LIMSey is constantly adding new features, so even if it doesn't have the exact feature you want, reach out to the development team and see if it's something they can add. They have been extremely helpful for our lab. **What problems is LIMSey solving and how is that benefiting you?** LIMSey provides me with a place to store all data and information related to the Jobs we do as a company in a searchable way. It helps manage the lab's equipment, scheduling, corrective action, documents, and preventive maintenance. Integrating local storage and retrieval can become a bit tricky in regards to syncing so it's not something we've prioritized. However, you can provide links in the application to your local storage which should provide a similar experience without the complexities of syncing. It is an indispensable tool to help our lab maintain ISO compliance. All your documents are in one location; test results, equipment maintenance and calibration records, corrective and preventive actions, and anything else you need for your auditors. It can be customized to your needs. **What do you dislike about LIMSey?** Other than final test reports, it isn't formatted for printing. This could be improved. **What problems is LIMSey solving and how is that benefiting you?** It allows us to have all of our lab documents in one location. It is easily accessible to upper management and gives them a clearer picture of where we are in the project timeline. **Official Response from Todd Quillen:** > Hi Tina!
