Great Cloud Based Laboratory Information System **Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars **Reviewed by:** Verified User in Hospital & Health Care | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.) **Reviewed Date:** February 04, 2020 **What do you like best about LimitLIS?** From an Administrator's perspective, the feature that I like best is that LimitLIS provides the user with the tools they need to query information from the LIS' easily with almost unlimited customization for reporting metric data. Navigating the LIS is easy, straight forward, an easy to implement and train others. It allows me to troubleshoot with my laboratories remotely, while giving me the tools to freely query the database by any field in which data is inputted into the system. **What do you dislike about LimitLIS?** When it comes to test results, some of the out-of-the-box features seem limited on result report customization. However, these limitations can be easily circumvented by utilizing LimitLIS software engineering team to custom build the interface your lab requires for any specific type of testing needed. The system was definitely built for meeting the needs of most testing; wellness testing and urine toxicology come to mind, but from my experience can be adapted to fit any need (PCR, Genetic testing, etc). **What problems is LimitLIS solving and how is that benefiting you?** Now more than ever, laboratories need flexibility within their LIS systems to constantly adapt to industry changes. Whether that's adding new test menus, new instruments, extracting data out of the LIS for a new requirement, or meeting the requirements to new regulatory changes. LimitLIS gives the user all of the tools to accomplish all of these goals. It's a well rounded system, that allows for future growth in any laboratory setting. ### 2. Manages workflow efficiently. You don't have to worry about hiring an IT staff for your lab because it is a cloud. It does not require installation **What do you dislike about LimitLIS?** Sometimes things can get messed up due to the fact that it is a cloud and not an actual human being. The system can expand more in setups that can be created by admin users. **Recommendations to others considering LimitLIS:** Use it, it's great **What problems is LimitLIS solving and how is that benefiting you?** Solving laboratory accuracy problems, and productivity problems. It is beneficial because without requiring installation, it enables clients, patients and lab staff to securely access their data anywhere.
