"Easy to Use and Easy to Learn" 5/5 What do you like best about Lightstream Studio? I was pretty green when I was getting into the world of streaming and making my channel my own. Lightstream was so simple to use and learn how to use, and their videos on how to help improve and make shortcuts were amazing. Not to mention when I did have an issue their customer service was so helpful and quick in helping me solve my problem or get things sorted out. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com. What do you dislike about Lightstream Studio? I constantly had connection issues and once I got my PS5 it was non existent and I had to unfortunately leave Lightstream. I wasn't able to get it connected and unfortunately we couldn't figure out why it wasn't working since I had a direct connection. There was always an error. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com. It helped me not only learn how to use the software and figure out the direction that I wanted to go in, but making sure my stream looked great and ran really smoothly. The best thing about LightStream is it eliminates the need for a PC and another monitor. From my Xbox I can send the image directly to my LightStream account. I stream directly from console and lightstream has been the best that I've used so far. I love that I'm able to not only use overlays but I'm also able to use sound alerts and change scenes remotely. Lightstream is what got me started into streaming. Along with my PS5 console I was able to change scenes, update my overlays, and engage with my budding community as I was just getting started. Also occasionally I had a decent amount of lag on my streams, but some of that was probably my own bandwidth and problems my my ISP. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com. Lightstream is very easy to use, especially for beginners. I appreciate the ease of integration with other services like Rainmaker.gg and others. 10/10 streaming service! Lightstream being in a browser can be challenging if Google Chrome updates whenever it wants, as it will cut out stream and have you reset browser sources and audio capture. Lightstream is a more accessible service than most other streaming platforms. Integration is simple, and going live is even easier. I never knew I would be able to stream through my console with the assets a great stream has. What do you dislike about Lightstream Studio? Lightstream is difficult to learn at first. There is not many instructions on their website. Their YouTube channel provides great tutorials though. This is the best tool to stream from your console and have all of the overlays without having to build a streaming pc with a capture card. That this was not around when the PS4 launched. We have been streaming on Twitch for over 10 years and our primary community is PlayStation based. One of our biggest wins by using the creator license is the ability to have multiple players feed their stream in so that we can mix and match the players on a single stream.
