"Easy to use tool that provides instant market data"
5/5
What do you like best about Lightcast?

Lightcast is very easy to use. The design is clear and makes sense. I love how fast it returns the data as well, and how you can easily adjust on the fly to fine tune and get exactly what you want. Support has also been wonderful as our Account Manager is very responsive, and always makes time to answer our questions or hop on a training session. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Lightcast?

Some of the data points are harder to understand and explain to business partners who do not have data backgrounds. It would be great to see a more relatable explanation. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"A Leader in Labor Market Analytics + Partnering with Clients"
5/5
What do you like best about Lightcast?

Many upsides to working with Lightcast.

1- Partnership- willingness to educate the client/users, to respond to feedback, to enhance products + services from that feedback and from user experiences and end products.

2- Quality- the commitment to excellence is real. mistakes are cleaned up quickly and explained while products are stable, well-supported, amply documented, and evolved with improving data quality and availability.

3- Transparency- updates are communicated whether in web or Snowflake,API, etc. Known issues/concerns about data and metrics are shared in understandable language.

4- Technology acumen- it is real and evident in how the product(s) continue evolving, getting to finer, more actionable grains and with better accessibility either as visuals or new data tables.

5- All-encompassing. There is no corner of the labor market and its pieces (education, demographics, industry, occupation, skills, geography) Lightcast doesn't have data on or report analysis of for use. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Lightcast?

They could take more risks in their data- experiment with new models/metrics that are sub-national or break the 'grain' of NAICS industry, SOC, etc. This is partly because of their supreme commitment to quality and reliability- they are loathe to introduce things that might not work out.
