## LifeLabs Learning Reviews
  ### 1. Practical, Engaging Training that Delivers Results

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Katie G. | Sr. Director, People, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 28, 2026

**What do you like best about LifeLabs Learning?**

The biggest strength is how practical and applicable the training is. The content reflects real workplace situations, and the interactive format—especially the role-playing—helps participants build skills they can use immediately. The facilitators are outstanding and create an engaging learning environment.

**What do you dislike about LifeLabs Learning?**

I honestly don't have any significant areas for improvement. Our experiences have been consistently positive.

**Recommendations to others considering LifeLabs Learning:**

Read the customer testimonials, but also experience a session for yourself. Sitting in on one of their trainings is the best way to understand the quality of their content and facilitators. They have exceptional trainers who create engaging, practical learning experiences that managers can immediately put into practice.

**What problems is LifeLabs Learning solving and how is that benefiting you?**

LifeLabs Learning has been a great resource for helping our managers continue to grow and develop. When we identify specific skill gaps or areas where a manager could benefit from additional coaching and development, we're able to recommend targeted LifeLabs Learning courses that address those needs.

Their trainings go beyond foundational management topics and offer practical, applicable content for managers at different stages of their careers. The sessions are highly interactive, with plenty of role-playing and real-world scenarios that help participants immediately apply what they've learned. As a result, our managers become more confident, capable, and self-sufficient in leading their teams.

  ### 2. Transformative Learning with LifeLabs! I will use them at every company I work for

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Alissa R. | Sr. Program Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 27, 2026

**What do you like best about LifeLabs Learning?**

Mandatory training days can be the worst - they are often lecture-style, abstract, or overly educational and dry without enough real-world application. As a result, they don't always feel like a top priority or the best use of time and money, especially when the impact doesn't last beyond the session. That couldn't be further from the truth for Lifelabs Learning, and I'll be a fan for life! I really love LifeLabs Learning for its incredible quality and the way it brings real-world application and customization to our business. They strike a great blend of educational foundation and equipping teams with practical tools and resources that can be utilized daily. Sessions are engaging, thoughtful, and highly tailored, encouraging participants to engage and practice rather than simply sit back and listen. The facilitators, like Jennifer Allen, are incredibly effective at making the content both educational and accessible. Tools Like the Pomodoro method, time-boxing, CAMPS, and SOON funnel have had great longevity on teams I have managed. The learning portal helps with ongoing engagement and accountability across the team as well, and I hope to roll it out more widely soon. LifeLabs Learning is one of my favorite companies to work with because their tools and courses are easy to use and truly make resonate and stick. They're thoughtful, high-quality, and ensure that time spent on training is always worthwhile. I've taken 8-10 of their courses as both an IC and people leader and will use Lifelabs as often possible for people development.

**What do you dislike about LifeLabs Learning?**

They're a bit on the pricey side, but in the grand scheme of things, totally worth it. I would maybe suggest bringing back the email notification reminder system I actually liked.

**What problems is LifeLabs Learning solving and how is that benefiting you?**

LifeLabs Learning customization helps apply learning to our business with practical tools and sustained engagement, making it impactful. Changes in meeting structures boost team interaction, and their toolkits are invaluable for discussions and applying solutions. We've noticed greater engagement and support among managers. My managers left the session with a "1 word to describe the day" as: "inspired", "excited", "empowered", "optimistic," etc.

  ### 3. Highly Interactive, Practical Training You Can Use Immediately

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Nancy S. | Centralized Banking Services (Main Operations), Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 27, 2026

**What do you like best about LifeLabs Learning?**

What I like best about LifeLabs Learning is that the training is highly interactive and practical. Instead of focusing on theory, every session provides tools and techniques that I can immediately apply in real conversations with my team and clients.

**What do you dislike about LifeLabs Learning?**

If I had to identify a downside, it would be that there is so much useful content that it can be difficult to remember every tool without continued practice. The good news is that the resources and job aids make it easy to revisit key concepts, and the techniques become more natural the more you use them.

Overall, I haven't found any significant drawbacks. The training has been well worth the investment of time.

**Recommendations to others considering LifeLabs Learning:**

If you're considering LifeLabs Learning, I'd recommend it. The sessions are engaging, practical, and give you tools you can start using right away. I've found myself applying what I learned in conversations with both my team and clients, and it's made a noticeable difference. My advice is to keep practicing the techniques after the training because they're simple, effective, and become second nature over time.

**What problems is LifeLabs Learning solving and how is that benefiting you?**

LifeLabs Learning helps solve one of the biggest challenges organizations face: turning leadership and communication concepts into practical, everyday behaviors. Their training provides simple, actionable tools that make difficult conversations, coaching, collaboration, and feedback more effective.

As a people leader, I've been able to apply these techniques immediately with both my team and clients. The result has been more productive conversations, stronger relationships, and increased confidence when navigating challenging situations. The training is engaging, memorable, and has had a lasting impact on how I lead and communicate.

  ### 4. Dynamic Workshops Elevate Leadership Skills

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Andy R. | Technical Learning and Development Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 27, 2026

**What do you like best about LifeLabs Learning?**

I like that LifeLabs Learning is reputable and provides engaging and interactive workshop experiences, rather than content-heavy, passive sessions. I find the focus on soft skills and leadership preparedness really valuable. Their support for our aspiring leadership program is great, especially with topics like Emotional Intelligence, navigating conflict, and influential communication. I'm impressed with how they help our upcoming people leaders connect and network with co-workers to sharpen their skills. Influential communication has been excellent for me and my team member, helping us upskill and collaborate effectively with senior leadership on L&D strategies. Navigating conflict supports our push on Radical Candor, which is key to our leadership mindset. I also appreciate the consistency in LifeLabs Learning's interactive sessions.

**What do you dislike about LifeLabs Learning?**

I wish there was an in-person facilitation/workshop option to help diversify the offering.

**What problems is LifeLabs Learning solving and how is that benefiting you?**

LifeLabs Learning supports our leadership program with topics like Emotional Intelligence and influential communication. It helps our leaders connect and workshop skills in their roles effectively. The focus on interactive, soft skills sessions and conflict navigation is valuable for our leadership mindset.

**What do you like best about LifeLabs Learning?**

I love the role-playing exercises we do each time our cohort meets. I also love the materials provided, such as PowerPoint slides and worksheets. The free webinars available to users are another aspect I really enjoy. The main instructor during our cohort training was amazing. I've seen tremendous benefit from giving improved feedback, improving direct one-on-ones, and helping direct reports work through challenges. The tools provided have really helped give my colleagues a confidence they didn't have before, and to conduct more effective one-on-ones.

**What do you dislike about LifeLabs Learning?**

Nothing

**What problems is LifeLabs Learning solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use LifeLabs Learning to improve our people managers. It's beneficial for giving better feedback and improving one-on-ones, helping direct reports tackle challenges. The role-playing and materials enhance my ability to guide others and boost their confidence in handling direct reports.

  ### 6. Simple, Practical Frameworks and a Safe Space to Collaborate

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Leanne P. | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 13, 2026

**What do you like best about LifeLabs Learning?**

I love the simplicity of the frameworks and techniques and how useful and practical they are. The live forums to role play and discuss create a safe space of sharing and collaborating with others when leading can often be an isolating position.

**What do you dislike about LifeLabs Learning?**

I think there’s still room to improve the admin UI and how to easily find content for my team to attend. But overall, it’s not a huge issue.

**Recommendations to others considering LifeLabs Learning:**

I have used LifeLabs at several organizations through different levels of leadership. It has always been well received and helpful. I truly recommend it to any leader!

**What problems is LifeLabs Learning solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I’ve used LifeLabs to help new managers as well as tenured leaders learn new frameworks. I always find tools and techniques to build confidence in leadership - particularly in giving feedback and coaching.

**Reviewed by:** Mandy L. | Instructional Designer, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 27, 2026

I appreciate their commitment to high quality training, research-backed content, and strong facilitation. I also like how they have used a consultative process to provide recommended topics and success tracking metrics.

**What do you dislike about LifeLabs Learning?**

I do not really have anything I dislike other than it can be hard to fill the minimum cohort size (10) at a small company.

**Recommendations to others considering LifeLabs Learning:**

LifeLabs is a great company with people who are easy to work with and clearly passionate about what they do. They provide very high quality instruction at a great price and work in a collaborative way to help you reach your goals.

**What problems is LifeLabs Learning solving and how is that benefiting you?**

LifeLabs is providing high quality, specialized emerging leadership training when we currently don't have the resources to provide that in an ongoing way in house.

  ### 8. Transformative Training with Expert Guidance

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 27, 2026

**What do you like best about LifeLabs Learning?**

I use LifeLabs Learning for people manager training, and it has been instrumental in helping our green people managers develop core management skills, like having effective one-on-ones and coaching their direct reports. The manager effectiveness scored high on our annual engagement survey, reflecting positively on even the initial sessions. LifeLabs makes scheduling very easy and facilitates sessions that balance great engagement with memorable learning tools, like their interesting feedback framework using diamond and spade metaphors, which people still reference today. Their trainers are clearly experts and are very good at what they do. The back end admin component is also user-friendly, making it simple to track attendance. The facilitators are strong, and the topics are very applicable to our company.

**What do you dislike about LifeLabs Learning?**

I think some of the sessions were maybe a little too long, so making sure we're not using a certain amount of time just because, and it's fit for purpose. If some session makes sense to be shorter, let's make it shorter and not waste folks' time.

**What problems is LifeLabs Learning solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use LifeLabs Learning to train new people managers, enhancing their skills in coaching, feedback, and one-on-ones. It scored high in our engagement survey, making managers feel invested and eager for training.

  ### 9. Transformative Management Training with Actionable Insights

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 27, 2026

**What do you like best about LifeLabs Learning?**

I love LifeLabs Learning's excellent management trainings and foundational skills, which are structured and science-based. They break down their findings into digestible, actionable items, which are especially useful as many managers don't come with these skills. Their core one series, including feedback skills and coaching, is something I really appreciate as it helps create a shared language within our organization. The in-person live training sessions have been excellent, helping to break down soft skills into specific, actionable steps. I also appreciate having a seamless experience with their sales team and facilitators, who have been a great pleasure to work with. Additionally, the platform is useful as it saves me from having to send follow-up emails.

**What do you dislike about LifeLabs Learning?**

I've really enjoyed working with LifeLabs Learning, but sometimes I need to go to another training vendor if I need something more specific or custom. LifeLabs Learning mainly offers out-of-the-box trainings that apply to many organizations, which is great, but for more specific or custom needs, I usually go to another vendor.

**What problems is LifeLabs Learning solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I find that LifeLabs Learning provides structured, science-based management training, breaking down soft skills into actionable steps. It gives us a shared language and framework, enhancing our management skills and making training memorable. Our live sessions and facilitators are excellent, creating value in foundational skills for our managers.

**What do you dislike about LifeLabs Learning?**

One area for improvement would be to offer even more advanced, role-specific courses for experienced leaders who have already completed multiple LifeLabs programs. The content is highly valuable and practical, but at times I’d welcome more opportunities to go deeper into specialized topics or tackle more complex leadership challenges.

That said, my overall experience with LifeLabs Learning has been extremely positive. The facilitators are high quality, the tools are practical, and the learning environment is consistently engaging, which makes the training feel worthwhile and genuinely impactful.

Rather than focusing solely on theory, their programs provide practical tools and strategies that leaders can apply immediately in real-world situations.

For me, the greatest benefit has been gaining actionable techniques to navigate difficult conversations, coach employees more effectively, and strengthen relationships across teams. The training has helped me become a more confident and effective leader by providing frameworks that improve communication, accountability, and employee development.

  ### 13. Empowers New Managers with Immediate Impact

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Elsa S. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 13, 2026

**What do you like best about LifeLabs Learning?**

I love LifeLabs Learning for being amazing in helping people new to management figure out how to be managers. The workshops are super interactive and allow our team members to take action the next day, if not the same day. I appreciate the way we can practice the skills we're learning in each workshop and share them out accordingly. The admin side of the membership platform is really helpful to oversee if newer managers are completing required trainings and to follow up where needed. I'm such a fangirl of LifeLabs Learning, and I'm always trying to get people involved with Culture Club and sharing their resources, I've even shared LifeLabs content with mentees at my local SHRM chapter or friends who have recently become managers at different companies. They’ve been incredibly supportive with allowing us to pilot initiatives to follow up workshop content via a the book study approach. I would give them a 12 / 10 if I could!

**What do you dislike about LifeLabs Learning?**

The only thing would be cost and figuring out how to implement longer term. As a smaller organization that's also a nonprofit, we don't generally always have a big enough group to run our own cohorts, and we're not always able to afford the membership. Figuring out how to refresh content affordably longer term would be helpful.

**What problems is LifeLabs Learning solving and how is that benefiting you?**

LifeLabs Learning helps new managers figure out their roles, offering a full manager core implementation and interactive workshops that enable immediate application of skills. It helps our team foster a shared vocabulary around crucial interpersonal skills.

  ### 14. Empowers First-Time Managers with High-Impact Skills

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Danielle S. | Head of People, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 13, 2026

**What do you like best about LifeLabs Learning?**

I like how LifeLabs Learning can accommodate our global workforce very well. I also appreciate the training for first-time managers, helping them to develop important skills in a time-bound and digestible way. I find the approach to skills development particularly valuable as it breaks down skills into smaller, manageable steps, making it less overwhelming and easy to apply directly in the workplace. The tipping point skills concept is another aspect I enjoy. Furthermore, I value the high-quality training and the quality of instructors provided by LifeLabs Learning. The flexibility of booking training sessions as and when needed is quite convenient. I've taken the annual membership for accessing LifeLabs Learning training because of the positive experiences from past engagements.

**What do you dislike about LifeLabs Learning?**

I think it's a shame that you cannot customize for the organization that you're in, which does mean at times that the training feels quite transactional. But I understand that that would be difficult because it's not the product that LifeLabs Learning offers. And it's not the model.

**What problems is LifeLabs Learning solving and how is that benefiting you?**

LifeLabs Learning helps develop essential skills for first-time managers in startups, which is crucial as many are promoted from within. They break down skills into manageable steps, making them easier to apply immediately in the workplace.

  ### 15. Top-Notch Facilitation, Perfect for Distributed Teams

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 27, 2026

**What do you like best about LifeLabs Learning?**

I really appreciate LifeLabs Learning for their top-notch facilitators and engaging sessions. They share tools and resources you can use right away and even teach back things you can take to your team. The ongoing support they offer to HR professionals is great. This service is an especially great option for distributed teams or companies that can't have their own L&D team. Additionally, methodologies like DIBS and their approach to discussing feedback are very impactful.

**What do you dislike about LifeLabs Learning?**

The pricing model is a bit much when they only allow 12 or so participants. I would let them allow up to 25 virtual participants.

**What problems is LifeLabs Learning solving and how is that benefiting you?**

LifeLabs Learning helps us improve feedback, agility, leading change, and conducting effective 1:1s. They provide tools and resources we can use immediately, and their teach-back approach allows me to share these insights with my team.

  ### 16. Immediate, Actionable Strategies and Tools You Can Use Right Away

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Kali B. | Associate Director, Talent Strategy, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 09, 2026

**What do you like best about LifeLabs Learning?**

One of the biggest upsides of using LifeLabs is having immediate strategies and tools you can start using right away, then implement with your team.

**What do you dislike about LifeLabs Learning?**

Sometimes the strategies and tools shared would benefit from more examples or opportunities to practice, so it’s clearer how they can be applied in my organizational context. Although some tailoring is offered, it would be even better if we could meet the trainers earlier to share more background before the sessions, so that context can be incorporated into the training.

**Recommendations to others considering LifeLabs Learning:**

Spend time with your LifeLabs coach to identify which trainings and strategies matter most, and to brainstorm additional ways to make the best use of your team’s time. They bring a wealth of knowledge and are especially helpful when it comes to prioritizing your needs and tailoring the approach to what you actually need.

**What problems is LifeLabs Learning solving and how is that benefiting you?**

At Evidence Action, our work is often quite ambiguous, and we face more adaptive challenges than technical ones. LifeLabs provides structure and practical tools you can apply right away, which helps reduce ambiguity across many parts of our leadership and managerial work. After each training, the team walks away with a few strategies or tools they can implement, adapt to fit their needs, and then share with their teams.

  ### 17. Effective Manager Training with Supportive Facilitators

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Emily W. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 07, 2026

**What do you like best about LifeLabs Learning?**

I appreciate LifeLabs Learning for being cost-effective and easy to use. It helps us train managers and individual contributors in conflict management and effective communication to prevent employee relations issues. The examples used by facilitators are easy to apply to real office issues. The 'deblurring' approach is frequently referenced by employees and helps in making communication clearer. I also like the ease of getting in contact with support, how helpful the facilitators are during trainings, and the PDF worksheets provided, which are easy to follow along and can be printed out for day-to-day application.

**What do you dislike about LifeLabs Learning?**

Pulling the data can be quite tedious and manual. Having a streamlined process where we don't have to reach out for help would be good. The website is limited on the data we can pull.

**What problems is LifeLabs Learning solving and how is that benefiting you?**

LifeLabs Learning helps us train managers and individual contributors to handle conflict and communicate effectively, preventing future employee relations issues. The 'deblurring' approach improves our communication, making it clear and specific.

  ### 18. Empowers Managers with Tailored Training

The SOON funnel for coaching skills was particularly impactful. I also appreciate the additional resources available on their platform for people managers. The tailoring of LifeLabs Learning to our organization is great, and their flexibility to shift sessions around busy seasons is a huge plus.

**What do you dislike about LifeLabs Learning?**

I think not being able to share the slides can be challenging

LifeLabs Learning helps improve our people managers' coaching and feedback skills. Their facilitation is excellent, and they use research and frameworks to make learning actionable. The program is tailored to our organization and flexible with our business needs.

I find it valuable how easily the trainers explain the content, making it accessible for all levels of management and employees. The management trainings are definitely a highlight for me. I also like how LifeLabs Learning provides people with verbiage to handle different situations, which has been beneficial for addressing issues with employees and peers.

**Reviewed Date:** February 12, 2025

**What do you like best about LifeLabs Learning?**

They have consistent and relevant training topics and materials for me to immediately apply to my day to day work.

**What do you dislike about LifeLabs Learning?**

I still think having more pay as you go courses would be beneficial to roles like mine, HRBP, who helps share different training options for employees who are looking for growth in various areas.

**Recommendations to others considering LifeLabs Learning:**

This is a user friendly, straightforward, and comprehensive platform. You likely won't need another training resource after working with LifeLabs.

**What problems is LifeLabs Learning solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Lifelabs has ongoing trainings that support my ongoing development- I specifically appreciate their Culture Club that has ongoing trainings for things such as building impactful goals, inclusivity, and performance reviews. It helps me as an HR professional stay on top of best practices and they deliver the content in a very digestible way.

**Official Response from Mary Elrod:**

> Thank you for taking the time to leave us some feedback! The idea for "pay-as-you-go" courses is interesting- I'll have to share with our product team!

  ### 22. Huge Course Selection That Delivers

**What do you like best about LifeLabs Learning?**

The amount of courses that they offer and the variety in their offerings.

**What do you dislike about LifeLabs Learning?**

The price per user is high given we are a smaller company and have less of a L&D budget.

**Recommendations to others considering LifeLabs Learning:**

Test out the platform! They offer so many great courses and provide excellent resources.

**What problems is LifeLabs Learning solving and how is that benefiting you?**

LifeLabs Learning is helping us level up both our new and existing managers by providing practical, actionable management training. ### 23. Engaging Workshops, Transformative Learning Experience

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Alyssa C. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 07, 2026

**What do you like best about LifeLabs Learning?**

I have had a positive experience with LifeLabs Learning as our L&D partner, where their workshops focus on manager skills, leadership, growth, and productivity. I've found their service and support to be excellent. The courses are engaging and not passive, with instructors who are really engaging and experts at keeping everyone engaged and comfortable to share. People who have taken the workshops provide excellent feedback, asking when the next ones will be and what topics will be covered. I appreciate the more options for courses, varying lengths, and continued strategic relationship.

**What do you dislike about LifeLabs Learning?**

N/A

**What problems is LifeLabs Learning solving and how is that benefiting you?**

LifeLabs Learning hosts 8-10 engaging workshops yearly, focusing on manager skills and productivity. The courses are interactive and receive excellent feedback, enhancing day-to-day work and leadership growth.

  ### 24. Learning Partnership Review

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Human Resources | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 16, 2026

**What do you like best about LifeLabs Learning?**

A few things that consistently stood out from our learner feedback was that the workshops were:

Highly practical and actionable - our participants walked away with tools, frameworks, and language they could immediately use in their roles.

Engaging and interactive delivery - the sessions were not passive and there was strong facilitation with real-time practice and space for reflection, which made the learning stick.

Clear, structured frameworks - concepts like 1:1 structure, feedback models, and development conversations were broken down in a way that felt simple, memorable, and easy to apply.

Relevant to real work - The content mapped well to actual manager and employee challenges, making it feel like a strong use of time.

**What do you dislike about LifeLabs Learning?**

Nothing major, but a few consistent themes emerged such as:

The desire for more depth or extended time - Some participants wanted more time to go deeper into practice or explore more nuanced scenarios.

Pacing could feel fast at times - Because sessions were content-rich, some learners felt they had to move quickly through concepts.

**Recommendations to others considering LifeLabs Learning:**

I would absolutely recommend partnering with LifeLabs Learning especially for organizations looking to move beyond theory and give their managers and employees tools they can actually use. Their workshops struck a strong balance between structure and flexibility, and they met learners where they were while still raising the bar on what “good” looks like.

I also want to highlight how impactful our partnership was with Sheena Varghese, our Impact Consultant Lead. She was instrumental in helping us shape program design aligned to our goals, providing thoughtful recommendations and resources to support rollout and communications, and acting as a strategic partner during program planning and for future considerations.

That level of partnership made a real difference, not just in the sessions themselves, but in how we approached the broader strategy.

**What problems is LifeLabs Learning solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Through our partnership with Lifelabs Learning, our aim was to be able to equip Amplify managers and employees with practical structures and tools that brought more consistency and to day-to-day conversations and workflows. We were also seeking to provide managers with clear, actionable frameworks for coaching, feedback, and 1:1s so that those interactions felt more purposeful and drove performance and growth. And lastly, we wanted workshops that delivered learning experiences that were engaging and interactive, with tools employees could apply in their very next conversations.

Our goal was to have managers and employees have more intentional conversations, with clearer expectations and a stronger sense of progress and development.

  ### 25. Practical Workshops, but Course Availability Need Improvement

**Rating:** 1.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Hospital & Health Care | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 07, 2026

**What do you like best about LifeLabs Learning?**

The content and frameworks used in the workshops are simple and practical tools that managers can use. The facilitators were also good at engaging with the group.

**What do you dislike about LifeLabs Learning?**

The #1 issue is the limited availability of courses. The rep looked at feedback and coaching courses for me to trial and the coaching class was 4 weeks away and the rep didn't even find a feedback course within 2 months, and said I guess the schedule still needs to be released. The platform could also use some UI updates. I was informed that there was an AI coach feature but was not allowed to trial it even for a day. And when the rep screen shared the AI coach feature there seems to be limitations where you have to choose a specific topic and sometimes we received an error message in response.

**Recommendations to others considering LifeLabs Learning:**

I would explore competitors as well. I trialed other competitors and was able to also test the AI features and take multiple courses within a 2 week trial.

**What problems is LifeLabs Learning solving and how is that benefiting you?**

LifeLabs offers instructor led virtual workshops for individual contributors, managers, and senior managers. It offers my company a scalable and flexible way to ensure all our managers take foundational leadership training.

The instructors are very thoughtful and engaging. The topics they offer always feel relevant to our growing business.

**What do you dislike about LifeLabs Learning?**

Sometimes you can get caught in the midst of account turnover and experience delayed responses. While this has improved in recent months, it was a challenge I have experienced.

**What problems is LifeLabs Learning solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Empowers our team and creates space for important conversations

  ### 27. Nourishing Experience that is simple, well paced, and thoughtful

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Non-Profit Organization Management | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 28, 2026

**What do you like best about LifeLabs Learning?**

Simple language. Good examples used. Good pacing. No forced connecting or engagement. Sharing resources after the sessions

**What do you dislike about LifeLabs Learning?**

I wish we got a more in depth agenda ahead of time to ensure it aligns with what I need. Sometimes I have joined a session that is a bit too basic for what I'm looking for

**Recommendations to others considering LifeLabs Learning:**

GO! Listen in. Even if the information is not new

**What problems is LifeLabs Learning solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Life Labs has been incredibly helpful for nourishing my management skills particularly as we navigate uncertainly, the rise of AI, and the appetite for my direct report's growth

I appreciate the dynamic teaching style of the instructors, along with the memorable learning concepts (eg. Playing Cards Feedback Model).

**What do you dislike about LifeLabs Learning?**

**What problems is LifeLabs Learning solving and how is that benefiting you?**

  ### 29. Great training partner with easily digestible content

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Vicky T. | Manager, People Operations, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 07, 2026

**What do you like best about LifeLabs Learning?**

Easy to work with, love all the free webinar content they provide, and for over 10 years they've provided a HR community group / virtual space (Slack) to connect and meet others.

**What do you dislike about LifeLabs Learning?**

No comments, there's nothing worth mentioning

**What problems is LifeLabs Learning solving and how is that benefiting you?**

LifeLabs provides easy digestable training content for innovative, forward-thinking companies that focus on emotional intelligence and what makes us human. I have always appreciated their content and how straightforward the topics are (and it doesn't make them any less important) such as delivering effective feedback, having difficult conversations, the art of delegation, and more. Even our most senior leaders could use a refresher on the very same topics.

  ### 30. Exceptional Facilitators and Enriching Learning Experience

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Amy B. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 05, 2026

**What do you like best about LifeLabs Learning?**

We primarily have one facilitator (Jennifer Allen), but have also worked with a few other facilitators. They all create a learning environment that makes participants feel comfortable and open to sharing. Jennifer has also recommended several books for follow-up, and her recommendations have been very helpful to deepen our learning.

**What do you dislike about LifeLabs Learning?**

In addition to using LifeLabs for company-wide trainings, I have also done the LifeLabs membership, which I thoroughly enjoyed and would recommend. However, as LifeLabs rolls out new trainings, I do not want to purchase another membership for one or two trainings. It would be helpful if LifeLabs offered a discounted membership/rate for people who have already had a membership if they would like to take some of the new trainings.

**Recommendations to others considering LifeLabs Learning:**

If you would like to learn more about LifeLabs, attend one of their Culture Clubs, listen to their podcast, or check out The Leader Lab book.

**What problems is LifeLabs Learning solving and how is that benefiting you?**

LifeLabs offers interactive, evidence-based trainings for a variety of audiences (senior leaders, middle managers, individual contributors). We have offered Feedback Skills & Coaching Skills to our middle managers, and many of them listed these trainings as the most helpful trainings they took. These trainings offer practical tips that can be implemented to improve and foster a supportive supervisory relationship. For our individual contributors, we have offered Delivery Skills, Productivity & Prioritization, and Influential Communication.

**Official Response from Mary Elrod:**

> Hi Amy, thank you for taking the time to leave us a review and provide us with some valuable feedback. I will make sure to share your recommendations with our product team!

**Reviewed by:** Lina V. | Principal, Leadership Development, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 09, 2026

**What do you like best about LifeLabs Learning?**

That we could work closely with our account manager and facilitators to adapt the delivery to our audience

They are midlevel on cost-- not super expensive, but if you are on a shoestring budget, then you may not be able to tap into all of their stuff-- but they also provide some great free stuff too.

**What problems is LifeLabs Learning solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We’ve been partnering with LifeLabs for the past year, and it’s been an incredibly valuable experience for our managers and leadership team. The trainings are engaging and practical, and we’ve been able to take the skills and resources provided and put them into action in our day-to-day work at Casebook. We’re still actively participating in courses, and we can already see the impact—our managers are thinking more strategically, communicating more effectively, and finding new ways to grow as leaders. LifeLabs has truly helped shape our management team into being not just better managers, but better problem-solvers and collaborators.

**What do you like best about LifeLabs Learning?**

I find the support from live experts very valuable while using LifeLabs Learning.

**What do you dislike about LifeLabs Learning?**

I wish it was cheaper so more people can utilize it. I also wish they had even more topics. I think more hours offered and shorter times would be better; 2 hours at once is too long.

**What problems is LifeLabs Learning solving and how is that benefiting you?**

LifeLabs Learning helps with developing new managers. I find their live experts valuable.
