On occasion, it makes my screen go black but always comes back in a minute but that has not happened lately with new updates. Also, it is really just for Desktops and laptops and I need it for my tablet. I, however, have been using the program since the inception of Open Office and don't really write on my tablet anyway. Microsoft has joined the cloud, and LibreOffice has not. Libre office continues to improve its features and functionality, even though other freeware products do not. The only downside I have experienced while using LibreOffice is in their Writer product.

I write letters, other documents, and also information which will be placed on the web. While I can view it as a formatted document for printing or view it as a web document, it does not save this way, and the document will always load formatted for printing. LibreOffice is basically like a free version of Microsoft office, I like that the spreadsheets are intuitive and easy to use, they also have a great feature that allows multiple people to work on the same document

sometimes LibreOffice can lag a bit or run slow when you are first getting things started. Also, because its free/shareware there are a lot of updates to install, I think its worth it to not have to pay for office 365. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
