"Great for Drafting Legal Documents"

What do you like best about Lexis® for Microsoft® Office?

You can Shepardize within the document and also create a customized table of authorities. This office simplifies drafting so you don't have to Shepardize separately or spend a lot of time on your table of authorities. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Lexis® for Microsoft® Office?

I don't like using the Lexis Advance feature while working within the document. Might be easier for some, but I prefer to do the research prior to writing and then drafting my document. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Recommendations to others considering Lexis® for Microsoft® Office:

Spend some time learning to use the tools. Once you know how to use them, it really does cut down the time you spend drafting documents. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Lexis® for Microsoft® Office?

Saves so much time! You can Shepardize your motions right inside of Microsoft Word. You can convert an opposing party's pleading from a PDF into a word document and go straight to the authority. You can create tables of authorities in seconds, which used to take over an hour. Unbelievable time saver for the legal document drafter! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Lexis® for Microsoft® Office?

So far, Ohio is not a supported citation format, which is where I practice. For the most part there are not stylistic differences, but it would be nice to have all states' citations as options. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
