What do you like best about Lexis® for Microsoft® Office?

Lexis for Microsoft Office allows you to access Lexis content *(from forms to Shepard's, cases, statutes, etc) directly within almost ANY version of Office you are using... WONDERFUL! Easy access within easy access, it is just as simple as clicking a button in the MS ribbon & then you are given all options that you have within Lexis Nexis online. saves sooooo much time! Start and build documents, search for authorities, Shepard’s Citations Service check of citation formats, Create customizable Tables of Authorities, so much more than I have time to type Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Lexis® for Microsoft® Office?

I didn't like the fact that they did not have a Mac version, but now they DO!! love this so much Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Form & doc drafting & research are now done simultaneously as I can access content from Lexis Advance®, Lexis Practice Advisor® and Lexis® Search Advantage right from within the document I am working on or a blank doc. Shepard’s Citations Service also integrates & checks my cites as I write, and also makes sure citation formats are correct Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The lexis advance feature wasn’t my favorite since I usually try to draft my own stuff out before I start it but not a big deal! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Mobile features for use with tablets Ipads needs work so images and documents can be easily read. Now one has to scroll thru text instead of seeing it easily, need block scrolling. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Lexis® for Microsoft® Office?

Sherpardizing and that there is a tool for tracking the history visually. I think there are awesome secondary sources and I like when lexis remembers what I have looked at in the past in the history and predicts what I am looking at for when I type. I addmittedly use Lexis everyday for reward points. That makes things exciting. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Lexis® for Microsoft® Office?

I think that westlaw is easier to use. I feel like they're a little less commerical, but the porducts are very similar. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
