Flexible and easy to use. AI recognized text fields are fairly accurate. Good platform to use to jump-start the contract repository workflow. In comparison to the competitors, the management is simple and straightforward. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
There are system limitations, for example, some agreements can fit into multiple categories. However, the only way to show up in multiple categories is to send the document to the repository twice. That said, the platform is young and still growing. The system functionality will definitely grow over time. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Great Intake process and integrations with workflow.. The AI and Repository are well featured. The team at lexion has been extremely responsive to my suggestions and issues. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I would have liked more development on the reporting side. Specifically the insights. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Legal task intake feature is straightforward to implement/utilize. The repository feature is simple to understand and utilize. Some of the generated reports on document or task metrics are helpful to understanding some of our contractual trends. It's other pro is (though at the expense of lacking critical features) is its low price. It also integrates with word, which other platforms have failed to do. Many other platforms in the CLM space offer both the ability to generate and customize templates from within the platform and utilize extensive conditionality to remove the need for countless iterations of a particular template; however, Lexion is behind the general market when it comes to this. It does not offer a contract generation feature nor does it allow the use of extensive conditional logic to factor in contingencies that are involved in contract reviews. Also, its API library isn't open and is very basic. Until the features are improved or introduced, this tool is incomplete and will not be able to catch up to its enterprise-wide competitors (Ironclad, Agiloft, Conga, PandaDocs).
Finally, the AI, which is supposed to be the big sell for this platform does take time for it to become trained to properly analyze documentation; even after it is trained I don't think it's over 90 percent accurate. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Thanks for taking the time to share your review, Luis. We built Lexion to be easy to implement and utilize immediately, and we’re happy that’s been your experience. We’re sorry to hear, though, that our contract generation and conditional logic capabilities weren’t made more clear during your onboarding. The good news is that both these features were added to Lexion last year, and they're available in your account today! As for Lexion's open API, you can find complete documentation in your account as well. We’ll have your CSM reach out to offer training to make sure you’re able to take advantage of all the features available to you.
Lexion makes contract management easy. Right out of the box, Lexion has quickly helped streamline our workflow in a way that gives information to all relevant stakeholders. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
There are some challenges with functionalities depending on whether you use IOS or Windows. Being able to quickly edit in Word is a challenge on IOS because the user has to download the document first each time. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
It helps in managing contracts easily. It provides an easy review of the contracts. Multiple review fields can be added as per requirements and also has a facility to ensure sorting of documents. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Has used it for contract review, contract management, and contract sorting. It has vast storage and users can upload large contracts too. Sometimes it gets stuck and contract searching should be made more enhanced. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Lexion delivers more efficient contract management for our teams. Integrating with other internal systems, our contracts now auto save in Lexion & are easily searchable & accessible when needed. This not only saves on manual lift for internal contracting support teams, but also provide a quick & easy means to pull a contract when it's needed, allowing contracts professionals to dedicate their time to where it's truly needed. To date, I have not encountered anything I do not like about Lexion Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Lexion is an easy platform to use and love that all the sales staff can instantly use it as well. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The AI needs more training to recognize unique agreements. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Lexion is intuitive and easy to use. I can find what I'm looking for as well as manage tasks. I REALLY like the updated dashboard as I can see what is coming in daily. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I wish there was an easy integration with Coupa and SalesForce. I understand that the SaleForce integration is coming in a few months. I also would like to be able to retroactively add new fields to the reporting structure. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Thanks for your feedback, Heidi! We’re thrilled to hear you’re happy with the recent improvements to the dashboard, and that you’ve found Lexion so intuitive and easy to use. We actually made updates to our integration with Salesforce last fall, too, to make it even easier for sales and legal to work together without leaving the platforms they love. It’s available now; we’ll have your CSM get in touch.
