## Lever Reviews
  ### 1. Efficient Recruitment with Lever's Excellent Search Filters

**Rating:** 2.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Kareemah M. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 15, 2026

**What do you like best about Lever?**

I like Lever's search engine and its good filters. Setting it up was very easy.

**What do you dislike about Lever?**

I think Lever could improve by providing automated emails. Feedback needs to be better, and the automatic communication aspect is lacking.

**What problems is Lever solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Lever helps in finding applications efficiently, and its search engine with good filters is especially useful.

  ### 2. Simple and straightforward, but otherwise poor compared to others I've used

**Rating:** 2.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Defense & Space | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 03, 2025

**What do you like best about Lever?**

It is very simple and straightforward, easy to use for posting & review.

**What do you dislike about Lever?**

It does not auto-disposition despite having built-in Qualifying Questions and causes extra added lift on recruiting partners to filter responses out manually. Additionally, it often does not show that the person has been Archived in the active inbox, rather you have to manually click through the existing "applicant" pool to ensure they've disappeared from view as Archived. Additionally, if they are applying for more than one position, you cannot bulk disposition even with filtering based on a response as those who have applied to more than one job need to be manually removed and addressed individually. Also, adding and deleting users is a main, as most would not think to go to Surveys to find such insight. Posting jobs is easy, but the fields are not easily manipulated and often font is all wonky on the live page even if it looks right on the posting page. API Integration not easy to manipulate either without adding as IT. I use Lever daily so these are all ongoing irritants. As the Head of People, I will be moving us off this ATS to another platform once renewal becomes available.

**What problems is Lever solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Easy application process, easy posting

  ### 3. Not the best platform

**Rating:** 1.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Nina S. | Practitioner Network Affiliate Specialist, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 06, 2024

**What do you like best about Lever?**

The option to duplicating/creating personal templates

**What do you dislike about Lever?**

There are a lot of things I dislike:
- How often do I have to resync
- It should show the most used templates on top
- It doesn't let me add an extra email address
- The formatting is very limited (changing fonts/colours/highlighting/etc).
- It doesn't change stages automatically after sending a template
- The interface looks a bit outdated
- Support is not as quickly as it should be

**What problems is Lever solving and how is that benefiting you?**

a way to streamline and keep track of all the applicants we have for our network

  ### 4. Not as user friendly

**Rating:** 1.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Biotechnology | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 19, 2024

**What do you like best about Lever?**

Ease of scheduling interviews. It is pretty easy.

**What do you dislike about Lever?**

I really don't love the user friendly aspect of it. The pipelines is hard to visualize.

**What problems is Lever solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Organizing candidates and allowing for ease of scheduling

  ### 5. Bitter disappointment.

**Rating:** 1.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Nicholas L. | Talent Acquisition Coordinator, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 29, 2022

**What do you like best about Lever?**

It's easy to move candidates around the different stages, and if you have admin credentials, you can modify many aspects.

**What do you dislike about Lever?**

Overall, the system is not nearly as agile as it was sold as. Seems like every little thing needs to have a new integration or is just not possible to do.

**What problems is Lever solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It's notably easier to manage than ADP (as far as an ATS goes) plus the reports/dashboards they offer are rather useful.

**Official Response from Jill Fox:**

> Sorry to hear about your experience, Nicholas. The Lever team is here to help. Please submit a request to the Lever Support team: https://help.lever.co/hc/en-us/requests/new or please provide the name of your organization and we can connect you to a representative.

  ### 6. Greenhouse is better, still functional though

**Rating:** 1.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Financial Services | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 27, 2022

**What do you like best about Lever?**

Its pretty easy to use, can watch feedback entered in real time. Pulling reports and analytics is easy and makes sense. UI is slick, integrating to a company website is easy.

**What do you dislike about Lever?**

Zoom meetings for panel interviews break, full-stop. Had to use 3rd party software. Their mobile experience is terrible and not useable, outside of mundane tasks,

**What problems is Lever solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Recruiting people understanding what out pipeline looks like and how we can be better. It does this but thats because we've had to amend it to our needs (e.g. use a 3rd party software for scheduling, export raw data into a BI tool)

  ### 7. Lever is Better for Small Teams

**Rating:** 1.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 26, 2022

**What do you like best about Lever?**

Lever's email integration with Gmail is the main feature that my team misses the most because it auto syncs, whereas Greenhouse requires users to cc email threads to maildrop@ or integrate the GH chrome extension. Both GH options require users to take an extra manual step and Lever synced emails seamlessly.

**What do you dislike about Lever?**

Basically, everything else - Lever is extremely customizable, almost to a fault. The reporting in Lever was rudimentary if that, and the data was so bad because interviews and stages were so customized.

**What problems is Lever solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The email syncing and the affordability of Lever were the only reasons my team chose Lever years ago. As my team grew, Lever was unable to scale with us because of the inconsistencies and the lack of reporting.

  ### 8. Lever could do with some improvements!

**Rating:** 2.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 27, 2022

**What do you like best about Lever?**

Once you know your way around the tools, things like submitting feedback and creating offers are easy, speedy and efficient.

**What do you dislike about Lever?**

It's not an easy tool to use. I feel the candidates and jobs parts should be better combined. For exmaple, you can't bulk reject candidates, you have to do this one by one, you can't bulk move candidates to a different role either.

**What problems is Lever solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I have noticed Lever improving its analytics and reporting features which is great to see!

  ### 9. Performance issues

**Rating:** 1.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 10, 2021

**What do you like best about Lever?**

I've used Lever for a few years and at my past company as well. It has an overall nice candidate based interface and chrome extension that is great for talent teams and hiring managers to use alike. It has emailing templates, scheduling functions, job requisition, management, and offer letter capabilities.

**What do you dislike about Lever?**

Lever has really suffered from performance issues over the past year. With frequent outages, extended lag times, issues with its resume parsing and candidate duplications, and zoom integration problems, it has no longer been the seamless experience that I've had in the past. I wish Lever would really focus more on these performance problems. The functionality is great, but not if it breaks.

**What problems is Lever solving and how is that benefiting you?**

End to end candidate management, and moving away from spreadsheets

  ### 10. Room for improvement

**Rating:** 1.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Whitney K. | Talent Coordinator, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 19, 2019

**What do you like best about Lever?**

I like that Lever integrates with our HR system and has some integration with Docusign - again, when it works.

**What do you dislike about Lever?**

Not an intuitive platform, customer service is not great and hard to actually speak to someone which is much faster than emai, the choice between a phone number and a room, the inability to use the DocuSign feature when setting an interview, the inability to at a glance see if someone's calendar event is busy, available, or maybe, things frequently break - ex our offers have not been working for over a week and it's yet to be resolved, I had reported the DocuSign integration as not working when setting up an interview (only works when sending an email directly) and was told it was being worked on for months only to check up again and be told it wasn't being worked on at all and not considered to be worked on in the future, the lack of a save button or pop up confirming changes when you update a candidates profile, often Lever will show someone's calendar as available when it's not, inability for more than one person to leave feedback for one interview slot (we often have people shadowing interviews or do panel style and want them both to leave feedback), lack of more formatting options when posting a job, there should be more options and explainatinos for setting interviewers privliges within Lever, many other issues that are not top of mind at the moment

**Recommendations to others considering Lever:**

Do you want to use an ATS that frequently has bugs and then customer service is slow to help you or does nothing to fix those bugs?

**What problems is Lever solving and how is that benefiting you?**

When someone is marked as hired and it auto pushes to our HR system, that's nice - when it works.

**Official Response from Lauren Cahill:**

  ### 11. A decent product that lacks flexibility in a field that needs flexibility

**Rating:** 2.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 20, 2019

**What do you like best about Lever?**

I like the feedback forms and the linkedin integration

**What do you dislike about Lever?**

The fact that I need to submit a google form every time I want to change our interview pipeline. This seems unpolished. I also don't like how each department can't have their own interview pipeline. Engineers have technical assessments; operations managers do not.

I don't like that to book a call, it has to be through Lever and I can't just add in "call booked outside lever" and add in the time easily (look at how Hired.com does this).

There is some weird functionality like when you click the "notes" section and then it comes up "no notes here", without a CTA that says "write a note".

I don't like that Lever can't book rooms in our GSuite

There are SO many times when I'm like, "is this a bug?"

**Recommendations to others considering Lever:**

Honestly? If we hadn't onboarded people into this already, I'd switch to something like Jazz or Greenhouse.

**What problems is Lever solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It posts our jobs to LinkedIn, where BambooHR only posted to glassdoor and indeed.

**Official Response from Leslie Hopfinger:**

> Hi there, thank you for taking the time to share your feedback regarding your experience using Lever.

I see you have some concerns about various areas of the product. We'd love to learn more about these and discuss how we can improve your experience. I believe there are solutions we can offer to solve your concerns around changing your pipeline stages and booking conference rooms. We need to learn more about your other items listed in order to find the best solution.

Please send us a note by opening a live chat from within your Lever application or by creating a ticket via help.lever.co and reference this review so that we can schedule a call to walk through this together. We look forward to hearing from you shortly. Wishing you a great day.

  ### 12. In-app sourcing is nice, the rest is lacking

**Rating:** 1.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 19, 2019

**What do you like best about Lever?**

In-app sourcing tool (Nurture) that allows us to track communication journey from source to hire.

**What do you dislike about Lever?**

-No candidate experience survey
-Inaccuracies with reporting that their team cannot explain
-Lack of mobile features
-Permission levels don't meet our needs
-Customer support has been inconsistent and at times inaccurate
-Lack of integrations
-Mailbox reminder is too noisy; can’t filter by tasks, dates, importance
-Lack of user dashboard
-Overall look and feel (too stark)
-Candidate profiles are hard to navigate
-Difficulty integrating our CIIAA with DocuSign

**Recommendations to others considering Lever:**

Look at a combination of sourcing software + another ATS against Lever since Nurture is one of Lever's most appealing features.

**What problems is Lever solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We want an ATS that allows us to source, keep track of, and hire candidates in a consistent, organized, and scalable way. We like the in-app candidate outreach feature (Nurture), but besides that have not realized many other benefits that outweigh our frustrations with the lack of accurate reporting, support, and basic features like a candidate survey.

**Official Response from Lauren Cahill:**

> Hi there,

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback regarding your experience using Lever. A few of the pieces you highlighted as concerns are part of our focus for 2020. We really value your insights and have shared them with the team to help us make improvements.

In the meantime, if there is anything I can do to improve your experience or if you're open to sharing more of your feedback, please send us a note by starting a live chat from within the Lever application or by sending us a ticket at help.lever.co and reference this review.

We hope you have a wonderful day.

  ### 13. Not as robust as I would like

**Rating:** 1.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Insurance | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 19, 2019

**What do you like best about Lever?**

The lever nurture features for sure are the best part.

**What do you dislike about Lever?**

For me it's a bit cumbersome to use. I'm used to Greenhouse where you can go to a job, see reporting on that job, edit the interview kits, the job post, see the candidates, manage permissions, etc. In Lever for some reason there's very little you can do on a job itself, with everything else stored under settings. The oddest part to me is trying to build a scorecard. You can't do this for the whole job--just per interview feedback form. Which means that each individual interviewer does not have transparency into what other interviewers are covering, so they tend to go off-topic to try and cover everything they think is important. On that note, Lever for some reason still only has the option of leaving feedback in a "hire/no hire" format, which encourages interviewers to go off-topic even more and introduces more opportunity for bias. As well, reporting isn't very intuitive.

**Recommendations to others considering Lever:**

Definitely look at lever if you are a sub 150 person company with slow to moderate growth and/or no centralized recruiting team. If you have a lot of high volume hiring and a recruiting team that can help you recruit, I'd look at Greenhouse or SmartRecruiter.

**What problems is Lever solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Lever was really great for us prior to having a built out recruiting department. The nice thing about Lever is that it allows your managers to do whatever they want with their jobs with little ability to be regulated. If you have no centralized recruiting team or recruiters at all, this is definitely a benefit. Again, the lever nurture features also make sourcing much easier than, say, a Greenhouse.

**Official Response from Lauren Cahill:**

> Hi there,

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback regarding your experience using Lever.

We value your insights and have shared them with the team to help us make improvements. If you're open to providing more feedback directly, we would love to learn more about your feedback and see if we can do anything to improve your experience.

We hope you have a wonderful day.

  ### 14. We left Greenhouse for Lever, and after 1 year, we went back to Greenhouse

**Rating:** 1.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 19, 2019

**What do you like best about Lever?**

Lever's UI was nice. It was very much made for the Recruiter to have ease of use. There were a lot of features that made Lever stand out to it's competitors when it came to scheduling, and prospecting.

**What do you dislike about Lever?**

Lever as a product wasn't horrible, but the services were. The implementation process took 3 times as long as they said it would, and the Customer Success team was unresponsive and never straight forward with us. We had a lot of issues that were important to us and we felt like they went into a blackhole whenever we told someone from Lever about it. As we have now left Lever after only being on it for a year, they are making the offboarding process even harder for us, trying to charge us for our company data. They sneak in extra charges without telling you ahead of time, and ultimately did not care for us as a customer.

**Recommendations to others considering Lever:**

If you are a very small company, Lever could be a good tool for you. Once you have used Greenhouse though, there's just no comparison. Greenhouse is so much more customizable, and their customer service is outstanding. Lever's customer service and inability to customize for us, ultimately made us leave them. They also were similar in price, and it just made sense to go with Greenhouse for how much we were getting out of it vs. Lever.

**What problems is Lever solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Lever helped us with our analytics and reporting.

**Official Response from Lauren Cahill:**

> Hi there,

Thank you so much for sharing your feedback. Our goal is always to deliver a fantastic customer experience but in this case it seems we fell short of your expectations.

We would love the opportunity to work with you again and if nothing else, we would love to discuss the challenges you’ve outlined and see if we can help resolve some of your concerns. If interested please reach out via our Help Center and reference this review.

Thanks again for taking the time to share your feedback.

  ### 15. Half done, lacking in basic reporting accuracy, terrible experience with implementation

**Rating:** 1.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Pharmaceuticals | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 20, 2019

**What do you like best about Lever?**

Good interface, lots of promise when it gets fully designed

**What do you dislike about Lever?**

There is NO 800 or other number for customer service, we had multiple deadly issues and couldn't reach a human being except via email, who then sent emails with links to video explaining basic functionality. We had MULTIPLE instances of trainers not showing up to training when our staff had scheduled from all over the world. Don't expect customer service or a true account manager you can pick up a phone and call. It doesn't exist. Every other ATS I have ever used had dedicated account managers you could pick up a phone and call

**What problems is Lever solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Excellent outlook integration and LinkedIn tie ins.

**Official Response from Lauren Cahill:**

> Hi there,

Thank you for taking the time to write a review about Lever. We are thrilled that you are enjoying our integrations and interface.

We are, however, disappointed to learn that your experience has resulted in a 1.5-star rating and that you do not recommend Lever.

Your feedback is important to us and I'd love to learn more about the concerns you mentioned and work with you to address them directly in order to improve your experience with us.

If you are interested in working with me to find solutions, please either start a live chat from within your Lever application or create a ticket by going to help.lever.co and reference this review. Once we connect, we can look into your concerns around reporting and take other steps to improve your experience. I look forward to hearing from you soon. Have a nice day.

Thanks again!

  ### 16. Lever Offboarding Snafu

**Rating:** 2.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 19, 2019

**What do you like best about Lever?**

The reporting was nicely condensed on their website. Their customer support was generally speedy and the UI was sleek.

**What do you dislike about Lever?**

The implementation process wasn't the best and neither was the off-boarding. Turns out, they will ask you to pay a hefty sum of money to retrieve your own data. Apparently, there are some things Lever deems non-critical when exporting your data and doesn't make it explicitly clear. Also, downloading reports is an absolute nightmare. It looks great on the website but when you try to export to Excel, it is just a data dump and there's a lot of manual work to be done.

**What problems is Lever solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We wanted a way to improve our reporting. They had many different reports on their website - some of which I never thought to even track. It gave us some new insights on our data.

**Official Response from Lauren Cahill:**

> Hi there,

Thank you so much for sharing your feedback. Our goal is always to deliver a fantastic customer experience but in this case it seems we fell short of your expectations.

We would love the opportunity to work with you again and if nothing else, we would love to discuss the challenges you’ve outlined and see if we can help resolve some of your remaining concerns. If interested please reach out via our Help Center and reference this review.

Thanks again for taking the time to share your feedback.

  ### 17. 3rd time user

**Rating:** 2.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** stephen l. | Manager, Sales Recruiting, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 19, 2019

**What do you like best about Lever?**

I like that the home screen has lots of relevant info on it. I also like the sync feature with linkedin

**What do you dislike about Lever?**

Not very recruiter friendly, not able to do video JD, Sync with mail is ok but not great

**What problems is Lever solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are able to have better discussions with Managers based on the data from Lever

**Official Response from Regi Solvkjar:**

> Hi Stephen,

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback regarding your experience using Lever. We're happy to hear you are liking the platform's ease of use. Based on your notes,I see you have some concerns. I'd love to learn more about these and discuss how we can improve your experience. I believe there are solutions we can offer to solve this need. Please send us a note by opening a live chat from within your Lever application or by creating a ticket via help.lever.co and we can schedule a call to walk through this together.

We look forward to hearing from you shortly. Wishing you a wonderful day!

  ### 18. Core is there, but missing key helpful addons

**Rating:** 2.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Aviation & Aerospace | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 19, 2019

**What do you like best about Lever?**

I like that I can view all candidates in one place, and sent template emails en mass.

**What do you dislike about Lever?**

1. There is no mobile app
2. I cannot send an easybook link outside of Lever so I can have a recruiting agency forward it along
3. No notifications or emails sent for anyone except the owner and hiring manager (following doesn't seem to do anything but allow it to be visible in Lever) - very hard for teams of recruiters to coordinate
4. Incomplete integrations with other systems like Slack (interviewers can provide feedback at a high level but MUST enter Lever directly to provide complete feedback, making the integration generally unhelpful for feedback)

**What problems is Lever solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Coordinating recruiting

**Official Response from Regi Solvkjar:**

> Hi there,

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback regarding your experience using Lever. We value your insights and have shared them with the team to help us make improvements. In the meantime, if there is anything I can do to improve your experience, please send us a note by starting a live chat from within the Lever application or by sending us a ticket at help.lever.co and reference this review.

We hope you have a wonderful day.

  ### 19. Too expensive and clunky for our small volume needs.

**Rating:** 1.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Newsha G. | President & Cofounder, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 19, 2019

**What do you like best about Lever?**

Like having a unique URL for JDs that anyone can edit / modify rather than relying on web developers. Also like the feature of auto email replies to applications - makes it less stressful when recruiting.

**What do you dislike about Lever?**

It seems as though the system and benefits of the system (auto replies, candidate tracking, etc) break down if not all steps are done in Lever.

**What problems is Lever solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Allowed us to be more nimble in editing our JDs and openings.

**Official Response from Lauren Cahill:**

> Hi there,

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback regarding your experience using Lever. Based on your notes, it seems like there are concerns around your workflows in and out of Lever. I'd love to learn more about these and discuss how we can improve your experience!

  ### 20. Not what it's all cracked up to be

**Rating:** 1.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Real Estate | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 20, 2019

**What do you like best about Lever?**

The ease of seeing the pipeline for each role.

**What do you dislike about Lever?**

Lack of effective reporting for business needs such as reporting on time to fill for roles. Lever is definitely candidate driven. Inquiries on product features and being informed the feature I've inquired about would be added to a list of new products that the team will work on. Basically, the feature does not exist. Simple ATS features are not availble or will soon be available such as flowing an applicant in consideration for multple roles through in different stages for each role. Longer than usual customer support responses, especially via email.

**What problems is Lever solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Ease of flowing applicants through and contacting them through one portal.

**Official Response from Lauren Cahill:**

> Hi there,

Thank you for taking the time to write a review about Lever. We are thrilled that you are enjoying the pipeline view within Lever but we are disappointed to learn that you feel we only deserve a 1.5-star rating.

Your feedback is immensely valuable and I would like to address some of your concerns. In reference to applicants under consideration for multiple roles, we definitely heard the feedback and we're excited to let you know that we are steadily releasing our new Opportunities framework as we speak. Opportunities allow you to move candidates through your pipeline stages for multiple roles, independently. We would love to connect to see if it solves some of your concerns!

Please let me know when you're available for a call so we can address these over the phone. To do so please contact us by starting a live chat from within the lever application or by creating a ticket at help.lever.co.

Thanks again!

  ### 21. Technical Recruiter

**Rating:** 2.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 19, 2019

**What do you like best about Lever?**

Lever has a very intuitive UI, so it makes it easy for hiring managers to use.

**What do you dislike about Lever?**

Technical support team took a long time to respond.
Non-intuitive reporting metrics.
No reporting metrics for third party agencies.

**Recommendations to others considering Lever:**

It's very easy to use, but you should assess how important reporting metrics are to your team.

**What problems is Lever solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It's our "home" for candidates. We use it for Applicant Tracking purposes.

**Official Response from Regi Solvkjar:**

> Hi there, thank you so much for sharing your feedback. Our goal is always to deliver a fantastic customer experience but in this case it seems we fell short of your expectations.

We would love the opportunity to work with you again and discuss the challenges you’ve outlined, if interested please reach out via our Help Center and reference this review.

Thanks again for taking the time to share your feedback.

  ### 22. Close but no cigar

**Rating:** 2.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Joe B. | Lecturer, Computer Software, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 07, 2019

**What do you like best about Lever?**

Lever does a good job of tracking the candidates through the entire process and letting us know how many people are at each stage in the pipeline. That overall pipeline view is nice

**What do you dislike about Lever?**

The system is too rigid. It would be great if other admins could edit meetings scheduled by someone else. The feedback form customization could be better (for example, I'd like the ability to have a question where the question itself was a drop down e.g. select which of these questions you asked the candidate, followed by a text box for the feedback on the candidate's response to that question). The email sync seems to be inconsistent.

**Recommendations to others considering Lever:**

You really need to fit your model into the flow that Lever expects. Go through some practice runs in terms of scheduling meetings (it took us a bit to get easy link working as we wanted) and collecting feedback (make sure that your forms cover everything you want to be captured).

**What problems is Lever solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We're using lever to track out hiring efforts. It is one central place so that anyone can check in on the status at any point.

  ### 23. not particularly intuitive

**Rating:** 2.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 19, 2019

**What do you like best about Lever?**

I like that I can easily see notes and emails and I can see live updates as people are working on reports.

**What do you dislike about Lever?**

oh... where to begin...

the fixed 1,2,3,4 rating system, the fact that I can't see the real ratings interviewers have given at a glance

the fact that 60% of the time it won't display PDFs. Are your conversion servers overloaded?

the fact that the UI has these nonsense layers that make navigation more difficult

**Recommendations to others considering Lever:**

can you quickly see the things you need to see?

**What problems is Lever solving and how is that benefiting you?**

we use Lever for candidate tracking and scoring.

**Official Response from Leslie Hopfinger:**

> Hi there, thank you for taking the time to share your feedback regarding your experience using Lever.

Based on your notes, I see you have some concerns. We'd love to learn more about these and discuss how we can improve your experience. I believe there are solutions we can offer to solve each need. Please send us a note by opening a live chat from within your Lever application or by creating a ticket via help.lever.co and we can schedule a call to walk through this together.

We look forward to hearing from you shortly. Wishing you a great day.

  ### 24. Not my favorite ATS

**Rating:** 1.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Viet N. | People Systems & Data Analyst, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 19, 2019

**What do you like best about Lever?**

Having experience with Taleo and Workday Recruiting, it's difficult to find features that I liked.

**What do you dislike about Lever?**

I though Lever was difficult to navigate, wasn't as streamline as other ATS, didn't like multiple steps to get requisition posted.

**What problems is Lever solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Looking for a user friendly ATS that can be customize

**Official Response from Lauren Cahill:**

> Hi there,

Thank you so much for sharing your feedback. Our goal is always to deliver a fantastic customer experience but in this case it seems we fell short of your expectations.

We would love the opportunity to learn more about your experience and some of the challenges you outlined! If you're interested, please reach out via our Help Center and reference this review.

Thanks again for taking the time to share your feedback.

  ### 25. Not a fan

**Rating:** 1.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 19, 2019

**What do you like best about Lever?**

I like that we can stand up multiple job advertisements for a single requisition. I like qualification ability for employee referrals.

**What do you dislike about Lever?**

The reporting is horrible. The inability to edit an offer after routing for any reason by anyone is a huge roadblock to performance. The scorecard system has no way to produce an overall scorecard by candidate for sending to hiring managers.

**What problems is Lever solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Solving job postings in multiple locations and in language. Benefits received are minimal outside of general compliance and workflow.

**Official Response from Lauren Cahill:**

> Hi there,

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback regarding your experience using Lever.

Based on your notes, I see you have some concerns around reporting and the offer flow. I'd love to learn more about these and discuss how we can improve your experience, as well as learn more about your experience.

Please send us a note by opening a live chat from within your Lever application or by creating a ticket via help.lever.co and we can schedule a call to walk through this together. We look forward to hearing from you shortly.

**Rating:** 2.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Geneen C. | Human Resources Coordinator, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 19, 2019

**What do you like best about Lever?**

I like leaving feedback on candidates for peers to review

**What do you dislike about Lever?**

Downside to Lever is candidate pool and outreach not enough candidates apply.

**Recommendations to others considering Lever:**

export to more free job sites for a larger candidate pool.

**What problems is Lever solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Easier to schedule interviews with multiple people.

**Official Response from Regi Solvkjar:**

> Hi Geneen,

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback regarding your experience using Lever. We value your insights and have shared them with the team to help us make improvements. ### 27. Large turnover

**Rating:** 2.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 20, 2019

**What do you like best about Lever?**

I like the ease of using their program. I like how easy it is to use their pipeline and review the reports

**What do you dislike about Lever?**

We have had several account managers over the last few months. We purchased additional support and it was non existant as they would continuously schedule meetings and not show. To their side, they have refunded us and hopped on a call with us yesterday to try and resolve

**What problems is Lever solving and how is that benefiting you?**

NA

**Official Response from Leslie Hopfinger:**

> Hi there, thank you for taking the time to write a review about Lever. We are happy to hear that you are finding the system easy to use and that it is giving you valuable reporting insights.

  ### 28. Terrible Integration

**Rating:** 1.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Telecommunications | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 19, 2019

**What do you like best about Lever?**

I like that lever is easy to use by itself

**What do you dislike about Lever?**

I don't like that it integrates horribly with Linkedin Recruiter

**Recommendations to others considering Lever:**

Make the integration from . Linkedin and linkedin recruiter better. It never integrates and makes me go to lever and manually create a profile every time. The extension always fails.

**What problems is Lever solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Candidate information being lost, ,aking s

**Official Response from Lauren Cahill:**

> Hi there!

Thank you for taking the time to write a review about Lever. We are thrilled that you find Lever easy to use. We are disappointed to learn that you feel we only deserve a 1.5-star rating though.
