Everything is straightforward and intuitive. This solution evolves dynamically; the range of features has significantly expanded between April and August 2025. The most helpful aspects of Leo AI are its ability to significantly save time and prevent costly mistakes by providing fast, accurate, and verifiable technical information. The transparency of providing solid references for every data point builds trust and allows you to work with confidence, ultimately enhancing your engineering toolkit and making you a more efficient professional. However, there are a couple of areas for improvement that I hope to see addressed in future updates. I've found that the AI is still not fully integrated into Onshape, which requires some manual back-and-forth. Additionally, synchronizing my local part library into its database can be quite a slow process. Improving these two functions would make an already great product even more seamless to use. It is more like our own version of ChatGPT as mechanical enginees. It provides great value in the early stages of product development, especially in the project planning, ideation and documentation. One of the most important features is the citation and references for any claim or answer it provides me. From my own experience, I think there's room for improvement in the concept visualization module. It needs a lot of time and iterations to come up with something relevant. AI assistant" 5/5 What do you like best about Leo? I used Leo Ideation and Leo Copilot (chat). Leo copilot is easy to use. I used the Web app. Leo copilot is giving mostly very relevant answers to matter asked with additional engineering sources. It gives the engineer the exact relevant pages from ISO, Mil or Handbook, according to solutions. That way of showing the results, makes it easier to rely on the answer or ask further questions to complete the research about given topic. Vendor search to specific components, as described in search line, was also pretty useful and intuitive. CAD search feature works fine. The source database seems to be fine according to the given source links in the chat. It helps to have confident in the data, that the information is given from reliable source. About Leo Ideation, again it is easy to use. I gave the tool to the system engineers to search and use.
