The main issue was with their multichannel nurturing feature, which was supposed to score leads based on engagement like clicks and opens. Unfortunately, none of that worked as advertised, and the scoring was misleading. I ended up hiring SDRs to follow up on what were supposed to be warm leads, only to find out there weren't any. Basically, the lead scoring felt fake and just misleading. What really annoyed me was the setup. I got an enterprise account thinking I'd have a manager and a personalized onboarding experience. They claim to offer this, but they don’t actually do it. I had to keep complaining for five months just to talk to my account manager, who then passed me off to someone else. It’s also ridiculous that I can’t cancel my account without the account manager's permission, and she refuses to provide service. Their service hours don’t match my time zone, making it hard to get anything done. Plus, there are active campaigns with no explanation why, and no one can help me understand what's going on. I appreciate that setting up Lemlist was fairly straightforward, which made the initial process smooth. I also like the concept of the single unit box for LinkedIn outreach, cold email, and calling, which was a key reason why I decided to try Lemlist—it offers a comprehensive solution for multifaceted outreach efforts. The administrator experience is awful, by the time you add new users and deactivate the old ones, an invoice is already issued and goes to payment immediately. If only the platform's responsiveness was as fast! As a result, the account gets blocked in a second and it's impossible to unblock it while wanting to switch back to the previous offer without generating (yet again) a new complete invoice. I like being able to leverage Zapier to customize variables in my campaign. I found and use Lemlist (even with the issues we've run into) because I can customize the first line of each email by leveraging a Google Sheet to customize fields. As an early-stage SaaS founder, I've found the content on their blog and tutorials incredibly helpful, and I'll always appreciate Lemlist because of that. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com. What do you dislike about lemlist? The first time we used the Zapier integration to populate a field from a Google Sheet, the line pulled in dynamically was a different font than the rest of the message, ruining our campaign. Because of this, we stopped using Lemlist and just used Lemwarm. Used Lemwarm for over a year but ran into issues when they transitioned Lemwarm to its own product/website. Warming stopped working, but our account was still being billed. I reached out to support to see if I could get a refund for the month things weren't running, and overall have had a pretty demoralizing experience. Their support process is purposely complicated: almost as if to make you abandon all hopes of retribution. In our scenario, I requested a refund for the period Lemwarm wasn't running after their move to a new domain, and the support team has been anything but helpful. First, they asked me to confirm the transaction occurred by sending over CC details and a screenshot of the statement in my bank account. Next, they said it would take 7 days to hear back from the finance team to verify the information I sent over. After 7 days, they asked me for "proof" that Lemwarm wasn't working during the period I requested a refund for (a screenshot of my inbox was proof enough). Finally, after all that, they told me it was my fault I didn't go in and fix the warming feature after they made the domain change. After more back and forth, I asked if I could just get a credit towards a future subscription, and support is telling me it'll take another 2 days to be reviewed and approved by a supervisor. As you can tell, their support process is purposely set up to be complicated. As a fellow SaaS founder, it's demoralizing to run into such a terrible support process, especially over such a small amount of money. Unfortunately, I will need to continue using Lemlist until I find an alternative that handles the first-line customization. While I will remain a customer, I will not remain an advocate. Hubspot manual task synchronization does not exist, tasks sometimes can be absent(yes, you can create a campaign, and tasks can be absent for some prospects), UX isn't intuitive, and reports don't look nice with all those stupid emojis. But all that is nothing the worst thing is numerous bugs. The system can be down during your working process and you can do nothing but sit and wait till your ticket is done.
