Angel is a cloud-based wood and fiber procurement and settlement platform that manages the full procurement cycle, from standing timber through harvesting, trucking and receiving at the mill. Foresters, loggers, drivers, scale operators and accountants all work from the same real-time data. When a load is weighed in, Angel automatically calculates every payable, settlement and tax. Mobile apps capture data at the source and geo-tag each load, which supports chain of custody, severance tax and EUDR, SFI and FSC requirements. Customers save 8 hours a week on ticket entry and keep ticket corrections at 0.27%, compared with an industry average of 1.5–2%.
