What do you dislike about LeaseQuery powered by FinQuery?

The only dislike I can think of is when a change is made in Leasequery, sometimes the approvals can be a little tricky to complete submit the lease for approval. But that is a small item. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Year-End Reporting Made Effortless with FinQuery"
5/5
What do you like best about LeaseQuery powered by FinQuery?

I love the journals that FinQuery creates for year end and all of the year end reports. It makes GASB 87 and 96 much easier. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about LeaseQuery powered by FinQuery?

I dislike that journal entry screen is not very "smart". When I choose to get a journal based on an actual lease ID, the screen should know if it is GASB 87, or 96 and it should know if it is landlord or tenant all based on the lease id. Also, we should be able to go get a journal entry straight from the lease screens. If i am reviewing a lease contract, there should be an option to create a journal for that lease. "Enhancing Software Over Time"
3.5/5
What do you like best about LeaseQuery powered by FinQuery?

Since then, LeaseQuery has made meaningful improvements. The AI-driven lease entry feature is a standout enhancement—streamlining the onboarding of new leases with impressive efficiency and accuracy. This has significantly reduced manual data entry and the risk of errors.

Another welcome update is the introduction of locked period entries, which appears to have resolved many of the prior period modification issues. By preventing unintended changes to closed reporting periods, this feature has added a layer of control and auditability that was previously missing.

Overall, LeaseQuery has evolved from a reactive solution to a more robust and user-friendly platform. While the early implementation had its growing pains, the recent updates demonstrate a clear commitment to improving functionality and user experience. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about LeaseQuery powered by FinQuery?

When ASC 842 was first introduced, LeaseQuery emerged as one of the early software solutions specifically designed to address the new lease accounting requirements. As a first-generation tool in this space, it provided a much-needed framework for managing lease data and ensuring compliance. However, like many systems launched in response to new regulations, the initial implementation came with challenges.

One of the most notable hurdles during the first year of adoption was handling modifications to prior period entries. The system lacked flexibility in this area, making it difficult to adjust leases retroactively without impacting reporting integrity. This created complications for teams trying to reconcile historical data while maintaining compliance. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"It perfectly balances quality and efficiency for lease related needs."
4/5
What do you like best about LeaseQuery powered by FinQuery?

LeaseQuery utilizes a dynamic, user-friendly interface that enables people of all backgrounds to safely navigate and understand key details of their leases. This enables better detail oriented financial reporting and seamless organization provided for all documentation stored within. As a result, LeaseQuery is a useful tool that can be relied on by all financial professionals. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about LeaseQuery powered by FinQuery?

The company is struggling to integrate LeaseQuery with 3rd party software like Okta. Okta is used as a space to organize software applications and websites, customized for professional or personal use. It is essential from a professional standpoint to use 3rd party applications like Okta, because it allows for multi-factor authentication. It would be nice to have this multifactor authentication so that system admins could assist in IT related issues. As of now, we have to log in through LeaseQuery portal without any multi-factor authentication. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"From manual to automated, LeaseQuery made us efficient and accurate!"
5/5
What do you like best about LeaseQuery powered by FinQuery?

I like the peace of mind that everything is automated and all in one place. I can customize nearly anything I want, including eliminating intercompany leases. Creating, renewing, and modifying leases is really simple. I was manually tracking and calculating ASC 842 leases before using LeaseQuery and it was a daunting task. With multiple entities in our consolidation, it was complicating and time consuming. Now I spend roughly 30 minutes a month on it and it couldn't be easier. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about LeaseQuery powered by FinQuery?
