What do you like best about Leasecake?

I use Leasecake to keep a record of my leases, rent, rent increases, reminders, insurance, and important documents for each property and tenant. It keeps me on track with all rent increases. The new chatbot is awesome because I don't have to go through the whole lease to find something; I can just ask the chatbot to do it for me. I really like its constant reminders and organization. What do you like best about Leasecake?

What do you dislike about Leasecake?

When entering dates in any part of the platform, it does not recognize a digit-only entry and you must enter "/" between the two digit date, month and four digit year. Downloaded lease abstracts only include a "Use" for the entire building rather than an individual Tenant Use, which would be more applicable to a Landlord's needs in a multi-tenant building. "LeaseCake Makes Lease Abstraction and Reporting Fast and Easy"
What do you like best about Leasecake?

Our company uses LeaseCake for asset management, and I really appreciate it. I love the CakeBot AI feature because it helps with quick lease abstraction, and the reporting function is also intuitive and easy to use. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Leasecake?

I’m sure there’s a workaround I just need to learn, but I run into issues when adding new stores that are still under construction. I don’t always have the final details yet, like the Turnover Date and Rent Commencement. As a result, I have to return to the system later, once we’ve reached those milestones, to backfill the missing information and then move forward with creating the account. What do you like best about Leasecake?

I use Leasecake for lease management, renewals, expirations, and reporting of current locations and costs. I like that everything is all in one place, which helps with client visibility. The user experience is pretty great, and I find the AI bot feature to be nice as well. It helps me scan documents quicker when entering a single lease. The initial setup of Leasecake was pretty easy. What do you dislike about Leasecake?

Leasecake could improve in handling subleases by allowing the tenant to show spaces where they are a sublandlord, helping reduce rent liability. The Square Feet total at the top doesn't calculate correctly when leasing multiple suites within one building; it should add all active leases in one location. What do you like best about Leasecake?

I really enjoy how the user interface is laid out and the search capabilities. It is very intuitive and looks organized / tidy. I look forward to seeing the Ai capabilities improve over time. Another great feature is unlimited users and ways to filter what they can see / do. The system tracks all changes and which user did them. This is a big improvement from our previous provider. I appreciate the rent schedule feature and ability to abstract 10-12 items for quick and easy reference, not requiring the opening of the lease file. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Leasecake?

The moving of our database from our old provider took more work on our end then I would have liked. Certain information was excluded from the lease abstraction process and we had to take care of it manually after the migration was complete. I have to import contacts on my own since the abstraction only focused on the name of the Landlord (when a majority of properties have property managers who we deal with more often than the Landlords). Found a glitch or two that involving the non-auto-save of information that has not been completely submitted. but that was around a year ago and it may have been addressed. Nothing too horrible but these are items that can be improved. I also wish that Cakebot was a bit more intuitive and did not require so much rewording of the question in order to get the correct answer. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Leasecake?

I love the Cakebot AI in Leasecake. Being able to ask things like 'what does the lease say about external parking lights' or 'what is the address to send notices to,' and 'is this lease fixed rate or fair market value' makes it easy to find and answer any lease questions. Cakebot also performs new lease abstractions and walks through setting up new locations and leases in Leasecake. I appreciate being able to easily update and access my contacts, and I can track my expirations and set up renewal notices, so that we don't miss important lease dates. What do you dislike about Leasecake?

I think the chat support response should be live and interactive. Currently, on the chat feature I send my question and then get an email notification in the future, could be quickly, but could also be the next day, which makes it hard to answer and respond like a conversation. It is easy to learn and follow. A system that is customizable to your company needs and can store lots of information and files. Abstractions have been very easy and helpful to use for our leases. We also have tried their NNN reconciliation services and have been very helpful and informative. We look forward on trying more of their services in the future as well. I do wish that, when referencing a lease document, the link would take you to the exact page being referenced rather than just the first page of the document. It’s still helpful to have the correct document pulled up, but being able to jump directly to the specific page would be more beneficial. I’d also like the ability to enter future events (i.e., square footage changes, new Base Years, etc.) and assign an effective date so those changes automatically take effect at the right time.
