## Imagine Learning Classroom (formerly LearnZillion) Reviews
  ### 1. Imagine Learning in the Algebra 1 Classroom

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Angie D. | High School Math Teacher, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 22, 2025

**What do you like best about Imagine Learning Classroom (formerly LearnZillion)?**

Imagine Learning is considered a high quality material for instruction in the state of Arkansas. The lessons are engaging for students and the material is very easy for teacher to use. The curriculum provides teachers with learning targets specific for standards. The curriculum identifies areas where students may struggle and how to help them. It provides optional lessons if students need extra assistance. Everything is provided for clear concise instruction.

**What do you dislike about Imagine Learning Classroom (formerly LearnZillion)?**

The standards that are provided are Common Core standards. I have had to map them to Arkansas State standards. I wish they would provide other state standards.

**What problems is Imagine Learning Classroom (formerly LearnZillion) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The digital platform allows me to provide instruction to students even if they are absent. It also allows students to review the material for extra practice at home.

  ### 2. Easy Time Saver

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Primary/Secondary Education | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 23, 2021

**What do you like best about Imagine Learning Classroom (formerly LearnZillion)?**

LearnZillion has a massive bank of prepared lessons that are easy to find, easy to understand, and very thorough at covering the standard. It's easy to share for virtual learners, also.

**What do you dislike about Imagine Learning Classroom (formerly LearnZillion)?**

There is a bit of a learning curve for students to do independently.

**What problems is Imagine Learning Classroom (formerly LearnZillion) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Having the ability to search for material to help with reteach, especially for my virtual students.

  ### 3. "Learn"Zillion

**Rating:** 0.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Hannah C. | Teacher, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 14, 2020

**What do you like best about Imagine Learning Classroom (formerly LearnZillion)?**

As a teacher who is required to use this curriculum, I would say that the feature I like best is that you have access to all of the print materials online. You do not need to re-type or re-format anything - just download the files you would like to use (no reinventing the wheel!). Where we are now with COVID 19, this platform does lend itself to a flipped environment. That makes virtual learning relatively easier to access and pre-planned.

**What do you dislike about Imagine Learning Classroom (formerly LearnZillion)?**

What I dislike about this curriculum is somewhat similar to what I do like - you cannot re-type or re-format anything if you are using them in the print version. You can't change spacing to save paper or make any font smaller. I have also found there are many typos between the print version and the online version - pages not matching up with lesson plans, duplicate pages, etc. I also dislike their slides as they are NOT customize-able as well as not super student friendly. They are repetitive and unengaging.

**Recommendations to others considering Imagine Learning Classroom (formerly LearnZillion):**

I would double check everything in terms of comparing the print version to the online version. They are not always the same. I would also recommend differentiating LZ's curriculum as it was presented to us as a baseline/grade level curriculum - you might have to make changes to make it more accessible for the students who are above and below grade level.

**What problems is Imagine Learning Classroom (formerly LearnZillion) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The biggest problem that is *relatively* being solved with LearnZillion is that every middle school teacher in my district will be required to adhere to the curriculum. This is an attempt to standardize teaching and provide equity across the district. While I wholeheartedly support the idea to promote and provide equity across a large district, I am not sure that following a script is what's best for students (or teachers).

  ### 4. LearnZillion Review

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Samantha S. | Teacher , Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 12, 2020

**What do you like best about Imagine Learning Classroom (formerly LearnZillion)?**

I love that all of the information is in one place and it is easy to access. It is well organized, and I love being able to get resources for myself and my students. I love that we are able to sit down together as a class, and reach what the students need. The resources provided through LearnZillion help bridge the gaps that so many of our students face, and do not normally have access to under other platforms. I like that it has diverse resources, as well.

**What do you dislike about Imagine Learning Classroom (formerly LearnZillion)?**

Sometimes the software is not accessible or glitchy. There are some bugs that need to be worked out. It would be beneficial to be able to work on the resources from home, that way we can prepare better for lessons. However, it is not always possible to do this because the resources are not always able to be accessed from home. Sometimes the videos do not work, which is a con when we are preparing for a lesson and we cannot access the materials. There is not an easy way to report that, so it would be beneficial to have access to a way to report any bugs or errors that surface.

**Recommendations to others considering Imagine Learning Classroom (formerly LearnZillion):**

I think that they should definitely consider it, as it has a lot of perks that can benefit any organization. Students can use the resources in school, and I can use them to plan at home. The resources are great, and they would be beneficial to any students or teachers that are considering switching over to it. I think that as long as they are aware of the possible issues with glitches and bugs, and can go into it with an open mind, I think that they will be very pleased with the results. I think that there are a lot of benefits to LearnZillion over other platforms, so I think that anyone considering it will be very pleased with the results. However, I think that they can use their data to inform instruction and use LearnZillion to work with their small groups as well as whole-class. I would recommend talking to other teachers that have currently used the program, and see what they like and dislike about it. I think that they can use this information to inform their decision, and go about purchasing it with full awareness and an open mind to both the pros and the cons. I think they also need to know what works for their students and that will inform their decision as to whether or not this is something that could logistically work for their specific class. I think that anyone considering this program should also consult their technology department to ensure that they will meet all requirements for this to work effectively in their district before purchasing it, to ensure there are as few glitches as possible. However, I think that everyone should consider using LearnZillion as it has a lot of great features and it helps organize and keep classroom management in check as well.

**What problems is Imagine Learning Classroom (formerly LearnZillion) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I am using LearnZillion in class to work on my ELA lessons, and show students texts and videos. The benefits are that students can access all of these resources in the classroom. This means that we are able to access books, read aloud materials, hands on materials, videos, etc. that we have not previously been able to access with other programs that we have used.

**What problems is Imagine Learning Classroom (formerly LearnZillion) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The lessons that are provided give me a way to either flip my classroom by front loading material for my students or to provide reteach from home when students can access and review the lessons.

**Recommendations to others considering Imagine Learning Classroom (formerly LearnZillion):**

I would try out this produce at least once so that others may decided whether it is useful for their classroom or not.

To share the results with other teachers to improve the teaching practices related to the standards. The benefit of using this program with students is that they like to interact with the devices and with one another to answer questions.

**Reviewed Date:** November 14, 2017

**What do you like best about Imagine Learning Classroom (formerly LearnZillion)?**

Learnzillion provides teachers and parents with videos that help students understand the different common core standards. The website also allows teachers to have lessons that they can use within their classroom with their students. As a second grade teacher that has limited technology I do not assign my students lessons but I do like that this is an option.

**What do you dislike about Imagine Learning Classroom (formerly LearnZillion)?**

I do not like that it is difficult to search for a common core standard that you are looking for. I wish there was a search option by standard. There are times that I would like to watch a video to inform me how to better teacher my students and the sound quality is not very good.

Sort Learnzillion videos and lessons by standards alone. Provide the option for the teachers to chat with a member of Learnzillion to quickly have questions answered.
