I found that engaging classroom technology facilitates active learning by making it relevant and interesting to read and respond to instructional content. I like that you have multiple options for delivery! Instructor-Led is just like any other "clicker" type session - teacher clicks through the questions and students answer individually. Automated Synchronous allows to students join a pre-set session time and the program delivers the questions automatically (multiple sessions can be set up). Self-Paced sessions are also done individually, but the students can complete them in any order (Self-Test sessions are the same, but they give answer feedback). The Team-Based Assessment is great -- students respond individually to all questions, and then gather in their groups and respond as a team to the same questions. I also really like the way you can modify point assignment for each delivery method. For example, the Instructor-Led delivery allows 100% correctness, 100% participation, or a customized mix of both; the Team-Based delivery allows 100% individual score, 100% team score, or a customized mix of both. I wish you could see more than 25 questions at a time and that you could see more than just the first 12 or so words of the questions as a preview. Yes, you can click on the individual questions, but I would prefer to see many questions in full to avoid all of the redundant clicks. Recommendations to others considering Learning Catalytics: It is a great addition to other "clicker" type apps (Kahoot, Quizizz, Quizlet) Review collected by and hosted on G2.com. What problems is Learning Catalytics solving and how is that benefiting you? I am unsure of how I should interpret "business problems" if I am in education.
