1. Setting expectations with my reporting manager: With the integration with Google Calendar, it becomes much easier to plan and discuss the topics that are necessary for the work, as well as for my personal development.
2. Year-end review: The peer nomination process is clearly helpful because it lets me get inputs from different people I have actually worked with, which adds more value to the overall year-end review process.
What works: The UI is very intuitive. I have never been in a situation where I don’t understand what’s being asked or what my next steps are. The AI refine feature while writing peer reviews is also very useful, because we always need to maintain decorum when reviewing someone. The tone suggestions help avoid miscommunication and misunderstandings.
What can be improved: Since Google Calendar is already integrated, it would be even better to integrate with Gemini notes as well, so key points can be added automatically and progress can be tracked. This would add more value for both the employee and the manager. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The process certainly brings more value to the overall system. However, there is too much manual work involved in adding points and data, and in following up on tasks through to completion. If we integrate with Gemini notes, it would solve most of that manual effort and add great value to the product. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
