Convergent is a provider data management (PDM) platform designed to integrate, clean, and standardize provider data from multiple sources and distribute it to downstream systems. It functions as a centralized hub for provider data, with a modular architecture that allows organizations to adopt individual components or use it as an end-to-end platform. At its core, Convergent ingests provider rosters, normalizes and maps disparate data formats, deduplicates and reconciles records, and enriches provider profiles to create a single source of truth. The platform supports both real-time and batch updates, enabling synchronized data across directories, claims systems, care management platforms, and compliance reporting tools. Key Components (Point Solutions) CareLoaDr: Uses AI-assisted mapping to automate roster ingestion and data normalization, significantly reducing manual processing time. CareFinDr: A provider directory management solution that leverages Convergent’s cleaned data to maintain up-to-date, member-facing directories. Exports, APIs, and Regulatory Adapters: Allow for configurable data sharing with external systems and state-mandated reporting, supporting standards such as FHIR.
