"Insightful Dashboard and Real-Time Updates, But Needs Better Warehouse KPIs"

5/5

What do you like best about APEX?

LeanDNA provides leadership with an excellent dashboard that offers clear insight into what buyers are purchasing. It also enables my production team to communicate directly with buyers from the shop floor. Additionally, 3PL expeditors and vendors can update statuses in real time, including tracking information for inbound parts. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about APEX?

It would be beneficial if the dashboard provided more comprehensive warehouse metrics and KPIs, such as the status of put away and kitting. Having this information readily available would make it easier to monitor warehouse operations. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is APEX solving and how is that benefiting you?

LeanDNA enables me to monitor in real time what my vendors and buyers are working on. As a leader, it also helps me identify the areas I need to address moving forward. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Plan based on data? With LeanDNA, it's easy!"

4.5/5

What do you like best about APEX?

I like the practicality of quickly and easily visualizing where there are excesses and shortages of material, which greatly facilitates decision-making in the planning phase. Additionally, the way LeanDNA presents everything visually and straight to the point, such as being able to check the total number of items with available materials and the total number of items with restricted materials. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about APEX?

I think the least useful point is when the data is not updated, impacting the results and suggestions of LeanDNA, and an example would be the ERP update that is done at 5 AM, so throughout the day we don't have new updates on variations and materials that have arrived. Another point is that the teams that supply us with materials, when they set the material deadline in LeanDNA, the order appears as components okay, and in reality, they are not okay, as sometimes the deadline is not met. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is APEX solving and how is that benefiting you?

With LeanDNa, I can act in advance regarding materials with critical deliveries and production sequencing, which greatly helps in inventory control and sequencing priorities. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Definition of Productivity"

5/5

What do you like best about APEX?

Innovative and empowers organizations to optimize their processes, reduce waste, and improve productivity. With its help, companies can identify areas for improvement, implement effective changes, and achieve sustainable results. I use it every day and noticed a big difference in my daily routine, optimizing time and improving my productivity. With its user-friendly interface, I adapted and today I can complete tasks much faster than before. The integration between departments is a fantastic thing, where in just a few clicks the user already knows the status of what they are looking for. So far, I haven't had any problems that required support. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about APEX?

I would like the integration between systems to be more "let's say" online, today there are two updates. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is APEX solving and how is that benefiting you?

Improving my analysis and decision-making, almost instantaneously, with data that was once more difficult to compile at a surprising speed. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Driving Visibility and Efficiency with LeanDNA"

4.5/5

What do you like best about APEX?

LeanDNA has a clean, intuitive interface that makes it easy to get actionable insights quickly. I appreciate how the dashboards are structured—they let me focus on critical part shortages and excess inventory without having to dig through endless spreadsheets. It's especially helpful for aligning with our suppliers on priorities and timelines, and I’ve found the collaboration tools to be a big time-saver. I also like how customizable the views are depending on what I’m tracking—whether it's days on hand, aging POs, or parts with high usage volatility. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about APEX?

Some of the deeper analytics or filtering features take a little trial and error to fully understand, especially when you're looking to set up more complex custom reports. It would also be helpful if the system had more flexibility in how alerts or flags are generated—sometimes the default thresholds don’t quite match the nuances of our supply chain. But overall, the learning curve is pretty manageable, and the support team has been responsive when I’ve had questions. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is APEX solving and how is that benefiting you?

LeanDNA helps bring visibility and alignment across our global supply chain. One of the biggest challenges we face is managing shortages and excess inventory across hundreds of small, precision machined components. LeanDNA gives us a centralized, real-time view of those issues so we can act quickly—whether it’s expediting a critical part or rescheduling inventory that’s building up.

It’s also helping reduce manual effort. Before, our team spent hours pulling data from ERP systems and building reports in Excel just to understand what needed attention. Now, LeanDNA flags those priorities automatically and makes it easier to communicate with suppliers, which has helped improve on-time delivery and inventory turns. Overall, it’s making our sourcing process more proactive, rather than reactive. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Proactive and Decision Facilitator"

4.5/5

What do you like best about APEX?

Lean DNA is a complementary tool to our ERP that offers a much more ergonomic and visual user interface. The tool is rather intuitive and quick to get the hang of. The Widgets considered important are pre-established and allow for a quick global view of the processes. The reports are customizable and personalizable. A daily user can very quickly find their favorite filters and reports. Lean DNA accepts the entry of comments that allow for tracking elements and accessing information. The tool "communicates" with its user and suggests optimization proposals that they can choose to follow or not, depending on feasibility. It notably suggests reviewing certain supply parameters related to the item. The management and optimization of stocks becomes more analytical and simpler for the supplier who approves or not the proposed scenarios. Still little or not used in our environment, it is possible to assign tasks to Support Services and to share, collaborate on order book information with external parties like AirSupply at no additional cost to the Supplier. The diligence of users regarding the tool reinforces the idea that it is suitable. The training was effective and adapted to user profiles, and the DNA team remains available and attentive to our feedback or issues. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about APEX?

We still lack perspective on the use of Lean DNA to precisely identify missing or optimizable features. The report filters should be more accessible or more numerous to customize even more easily. Some column labels may also be unavailable, which can sometimes limit the analysis. The "split" order proposals are not explicit enough as they do not differentiate whether they are intended to advance or delay the needs. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is APEX solving and how is that benefiting you?

Lean DNA does not necessarily solve problems or not yet as far as we are concerned, but rather aims to offer a constant improvement of our parameters and our current order books. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"An intuitive and efficient tool for order and inventory management"

5/5

What do you like best about APEX?

LeanDNA is very easy to use, which facilitates quick onboarding. The support is excellent and the trainers are very involved, making the guidance very effective. It allows for a considerable time saving in order management. The reports generated are comprehensive and easily adjustable according to needs. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about APEX?

It is unfortunate not to be able to choose to work with or without the SPLIT option. Moreover, the translations are not always optimized. This poses a problem for some colleagues who do not speak English, especially when data needs to be exported to Excel, where the display becomes confusing for them. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is APEX solving and how is that benefiting you?

LeanDNA greatly facilitates team collaboration by allowing comments to be added to orders (items), which enables sharing the right information with the right people. It is also very useful for quickly identifying critical orders, especially those with shortages impacting production or those that need to be expedited. This allows for increased responsiveness and better prioritization of actions, which is essential to ensure the continuity of production. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Transformative Tool for Supply Chain Optimization"

5/5

What do you like best about APEX?

From a procurement and planning standpoint, LeanDNA excels at surfacing actionable insights in a clear and prioritized way. Instead of sifting through complex spreadsheets or ERP reports, our teams can immediately focus on the highest-impact supply risks, excess inventory, and improvement opportunities. The platform strikes an effective balance between powerful functionality and ease of use. Its clean, well-organized interface is thoughtfully designed for supply chain professionals, with intuitive navigation across dashboards, reports, and opportunity lists. Clear visualizations and color-coded alerts further enhance usability, making it easy to identify and act on what matters most. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about APEX?

Customization Limitations – Some dashboard views and filters are relatively rigid. More flexibility in customizing reports or creating user-defined views would make it even more valuable for diverse operational needs. That said, new users may experience a brief learning curve, especially when interpreting some of the analytics or exploring advanced features. However, once past the initial onboarding, the tool becomes a powerful daily resource. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is APEX solving and how is that benefiting you?

LeanDNA is solving long-standing challenges such as supply chain visibility and prioritization. One of the biggest pain points it addresses is the lack of real-time, actionable data—especially when managing shortages and excess inventory across multiple sites. Before LeanDNA, our teams had to manually consolidate and interpret data from spreadsheets and ERP systems, which was time-consuming and prone to delays or missed insights. With LeanDNA, we now have a centralized platform that highlights urgent and high-impact issues, enabling faster, more informed decisions. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"A powerful tool at the disposal of the Supply Chain"

4.5/5

What do you like best about APEX?

LeanDNA presents data from an ERP in a more ergonomic and accessible way and, thanks to its algorithms, challenges the ERP settings with a different, more holistic approach. This global vision across all areas, inventory management, purchase orders, and production shortages, is missing in an ERP. Also, the routines in place with Customer Support. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about APEX?

There is a slight lack of flexibility in the tool, caused by the fact that it is a common platform for all clients, which can generate frustration from the Business side that requests a supposedly 'minor' change but which turns out to be a product improvement. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is APEX solving and how is that benefiting you?

LeanDNA creates reports that do not exist in our ERP. This makes the task easier for our employees, allowing them to gain efficiency, save time, and achieve financial gains. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about APEX?

LeanDNA has all of my tasks in one place; I'm able to access my purchase lines, manage shortages, narrow down supplier issues, and track on time delivery with just a few clicks of a button. It was easy to integrate it into my daily work. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Assistance with analysis and increased efficiency"

5/5

What do you like best about APEX?

Lean DNA allows you to easily and intuitively anticipate future problems. The ergonomics and accessibility of the various reports are perfectly intuitive and easy to handle. It is a time saver and builds confidence in the work done, as well as providing a significant opportunity to identify areas for improvement. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about APEX?

I would like not to have the image of my ERP from the day before but in real time, it is probably the most penalizing. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is APEX solving and how is that benefiting you?

It allows me to detect excessive stock levels in a simple way by suggesting immediate actions to take. Detecting weak signals or what I call future shortages simply helps to reduce the number of actual shortages! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
