## Lean Layer Reviews
  ### 1. A true extension of our team

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Madison W.

**Reviewed Date:** June 18, 2026

**What do you like best about Lean Layer?**

Claire, Moises, and the LL team act as a true extension of our team. They deeply learn our workflows and are able to make recommendations on builds that are best for us vs. blanket to the industry. In addition they listen to what we want to build + our ideas and are able to build those in an incredibly fast turnaround (while still having other clients) and even upleveling the workflows to ensure we're thinking through future proofing for growth we'll hit down the line vs. right now.

**What do you dislike about Lean Layer?**

There isn't much I dislike about LL, but continued focus on how our Rev Ops function has transformed over time while partnering with them is helpful as we scale. Or recommendations on how we should be building out the Rev Ops team to support their work will be helpful once we hit a point of needing additional team members to support their work internally.

**What problems is Lean Layer solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are growing from a revenue perspective rapidly with a very lean GTM team. Without a dedicated rev ops team member LeanLayer has been able to act as an extension of our team to be that Rev Ops function to ensure we're set up to have the internal systems needed as we scale.

  ### 2. Director of Sales at Anoki

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Gina D.

**Reviewed Date:** April 22, 2026

**What do you like best about Lean Layer?**

Lean Layer makes it much easier to see what’s actually happening in real time. What stands out most to me about Lean Layer is how it brings clarity and structure to the sales process without adding friction.

**What do you dislike about Lean Layer?**

Since I’m still relatively new to Lean Layer, there’s definitely a bit of a learning curve as I get familiar with all the features and workflows. Some things aren’t immediately intuitive at first, but as I spend more time with it, it’s getting easier to navigate and see the full value.

**What problems is Lean Layer solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Lean Layer is solving the problem of inefficiency and lack of clarity in processes by streamlining workflows and reducing unnecessary complexity. It helps eliminate wasted time, minimizes errors, and makes it easier to focus on what actually matters. For me, that’s translated into faster execution, better organization, and less mental overhead when managing tasks or projects. Overall, it’s made my work more efficient!

  ### 3. The best of the best

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Sharmaine I.

**Reviewed Date:** April 07, 2026

**What do you like best about Lean Layer?**

What I like best about Lean Layer is how hands-on and solutions-oriented they are. They don’t just execute requests—they really take the time to understand our process and suggest better ways to do things.
They’ve been especially helpful in identifying gaps we didn’t even realize were there and turning those into more efficient, scalable workflows. It feels like a true partnership rather than just a vendor relationship.

**What do you dislike about Lean Layer?**

Nothing significant to flag at the moment

**What problems is Lean Layer solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Lean Layer is helping us clean up and streamline a lot of the gaps in our lead management process. Before, we had issues with things like inconsistent data, manual workflows, and delays in getting MQLs to sales.
They’ve helped automate and standardize how leads are captured, routed, and progressed—especially across tools like HubSpot, Zoom, and Slack. That’s made a big difference in speed-to-lead and overall data quality.
At the end of the day, it’s helping us work more efficiently, improve follow-up, and get a clearer view of what’s actually driving pipeline.

  ### 4. A True Partner in Driving Revenue Alignment and Execution

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Professional Training & Coaching | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 18, 2025

**What do you like best about Lean Layer?**

What continues to stand out is how invested they are in getting it right, not just getting it done. They push back when it matters, bring real rigor to the way we think through problems, and consistently land on solutions that serve the business rather than the easy answer. Michael's leadership and organizational instincts set the tone, and the depth and clarity his team brings shows up at every level. They have become a genuine extension of our team, and the impact speaks for itself.

**What do you dislike about Lean Layer?**

Still very little. If anything, the standard they have set for consultative engagement is so high that it makes me want to pull them into even more of what we do. The only real opportunity is on our side, figuring out how to extend the value of their involvement across more of the business so we are getting the full benefit everywhere it could help.

**Recommendations to others considering Lean Layer:**

Honestly, very little. If anything, the bar they’ve set for consultative engagement is so high that it makes me wish we could apply their approach even more broadly. The challenge is less about Lean Layer and more about how to maximize the benefit of their involvement across every part of our business.

**What problems is Lean Layer solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Lean Layer has helped us align and operationalize our revenue organization. Michael, our project lead, has been able to step in seamlessly, bringing clarity and structure across multiple functions. This has allowed us to execute more efficiently, improve collaboration between leadership and individual contributors, and ensure we’re set up for scale.

  ### 5. RevOps Support for Complicated Systems

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jesse B.

**Reviewed Date:** April 21, 2026

**What do you like best about Lean Layer?**

My favorite thing about the people at Lean Layer is that they work more as an extension of the team rather than a typical agency. We have weekly calls with them to go over what projects are taking priority, and we have a Slack channel which they are very responsive in.

**What do you dislike about Lean Layer?**

In my experience working with Lean Layer, I have not experienced any downsides.

**What problems is Lean Layer solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Lean Layer is supporting our RevOps team across multiple CRMs and marketing platforms. Some of the projects they've worked on include cleaning up how we report on leads coming from marketing efforts, lead scoring, and consolidating data and accounts. This is helping us move faster as a RevOps team when it comes to reporting, and it lets us collaborate more closely with other teams internally knowing they have some of these data projects handled.

  ### 6. Revolutionized Our Rev Ops with Expertise

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Emilie L. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 03, 2026

**What do you like best about Lean Layer?**

I appreciate Lean Layer's work in helping us repair a botched salesforce migration by taking on roles like our sfdc admin and developer, which was really crucial for us as we scaled up our internal team. Their engagement manager has been valuable in helping us prioritize and flag critical steps across our leadership. I also find their service beneficial in giving us visibility into funnel activities, specifically in streamlining our SDR tracking and data hygiene, which has helped increase our pipeline. Their ability to align leadership by sharing their point of view is another aspect I find valuable. Additionally, they do a good job communicating with our leadership, which is really good.

**What do you dislike about Lean Layer?**

N/A

**What problems is Lean Layer solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Lean Layer acts as our rev ops team, helping with Salesforce migration, improving SDR tracking, data cleaning, and providing visibility into funnel activities, which boosts our pipeline. They prioritize and align leadership effectively.

  ### 7. RevOps pinch-hitters

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Colleen K. | Principal

**Reviewed Date:** June 02, 2026

**What do you like best about Lean Layer?**

They are reliable and communicative! They have effectively become a member of our team

**What do you dislike about Lean Layer?**

Honestly, not really anything to note. Of course there is always a lot of context to ramp up on, but they get as close as they can for someone who is not a full time member of your team.

**What problems is Lean Layer solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We can depend on Lean Layer to solve a RevOps gap for us - enabling our sales team to focus on selling and rely on the systems that support them when we were in a bind. They get into the nitty gritty of all the problems that come up but also can think about the needs of the business at a high level.

  ### 8. An honorary member of our RevOps & Onboarding team

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Leslie N.

**Reviewed Date:** March 18, 2026

**What do you like best about Lean Layer?**

What I like best is that Al genuinely understands the tools he's working with at a deep level — not just surface features, but how to architect things the right way for scale. With Arrows specifically, he helped us think through gating logic, automation design, and task structure in ways that actually changed how we approach the platform. It never felt like he was just checking boxes; he was invested in making sure what we built actually worked for our team long-term.

**What do you dislike about Lean Layer?**

Honestly, not much. The only thing I'd note is that because Al is so in-demand, you have to be intentional about scheduling and keeping the engagement moving. It's not a complaint so much as a heads up you get out of it what you put in.

**What problems is Lean Layer solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Lean Layer has been a huge help in navigating our transition to Arrows and optimizing how we use it across our onboarding program. Al specifically helped us think through task architecture, gating logic, and automations in ways we wouldn't have landed on ourselves — and then helped us actually build it out. Beyond Arrows, they've been a sounding board for process decisions and helped us find opportunities to track better metrics and get cleaner reporting out of HubSpot. The benefit has been real: less manual work, better visibility into onboarding performance, and a more scalable process overall.

  ### 9. Excellent team and consistently high-quality deliverables

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Monalisa S.

**Reviewed Date:** April 20, 2026

**What do you like best about Lean Layer?**

The consistency. The team delivers high-quality work every time, without exception. I recently collaborated with them on a workflow automation project, and they've helped us incredibly fast while still meeting all our requirements. A special shoutout to Anne, she's very transparent, efficient, and keeps everything moving in the right direction.

**What do you dislike about Lean Layer?**

Honestly, nothing comes to mind. The team is well-prepared, responsive, and has always supported us well. It's rare to work with a partner where there's genuinely nothing to critique.

**What problems is Lean Layer solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Lean Layer is helping us restructure our data and improve how we report it, while also reframing some of our processes. The impact on our day-to-day has been tangible. What stands out is how thoughtful and planned their work is. They don't just deliver; they dig deep to truly understand everything before proposing solutions.

  ### 10. A Single Source of Truth for Forecasting and Revenue Tracking!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Sarineh C. | SVP (West) Brand and Channel Partnerships

**Reviewed Date:** March 06, 2026

**What do you like best about Lean Layer?**

The people and ease of use! The Lean Layer team has been easy to work with and quick to make modifications based on our needs as an organization. The simplicity of the platform allows for quick adoption and in turn, ability to strategically do client outreach and manage internal forecasting.

**What do you dislike about Lean Layer?**

I haven't found any issues with Lean Layer as of yet!

**What problems is Lean Layer solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Lean Layer is helping us consolidate how we manage forecasting, activity tracking, and revenue capture into a single, centralized system. Instead of relying on multiple spreadsheets and disconnected tools, we’re able to organize and monitor pipeline health, sales activity levels, and revenue projections in a much more structured way.

As a manager, it allows me to capture revenue performance in greater detail and translate day-to-day sales activities for my team into clearer forecasting and business insights. In turn, we can provide leadership with more accurate projections, better transparency into performance, and a stronger understanding of how activity is translating into revenue outcomes.
