Layar is digital signage software built for Malaysian businesses that want their screens to just work without enterprise pricing or complexity. Connect a Windows PC or Android device to any TV, then manage everything from one web dashboard: playlists, scheduling, split-screen layouts, marquee tickers, and prayer-time widgets. The built-in AI Studio generates promo posters from a short prompt, and Canvas lets you design custom screens without a designer. Screen-health monitoring sends a WhatsApp alert the moment a display goes offline, so you find out before your customers do. Pricing is in ringgit with a genuinely free single-screen tier and founding plans from RM15/month, which makes it a practical alternative to pricier tools like Yodeck, OptiSigns and ScreenCloud for cafes, retail, clinics, offices and malls across Malaysia.
