LawVu is excellent for in-house counsel, or small firms that practice in a variety of areas. It is a very good mix of allowing some customizations without being an all-out "do it yourself" platform. The integrations with MS Outlook is very useful. The user interface (UI) is clean and user-friendly. We have experienced excellent relability and performance of the platform for over three years now. The main purpose for us getting LawVu was to have an interactive contract management system. But it is so much more! LawVu has great contract management features that lets us see which contracts are related, how they are amended, and what they contain. LawVu allows us to collaborate with business contract owners and Procurement teams to ensure we have an accurate insight into ongoing contracts with our suppliers. We're also syncing all our contracts to SharePoint, where we predominantly work, and Outlook. This integration makes LawVu essential to every-day tasks, but it slots into existing processes seamlessly so isn't disruptive. As we've been using LawVu, I'm also very impressed with the support team - always on standby and I never wait longer than a few minutes to get connected to someone (day or night). The only drawback that we have found so far is the process change for matters - although matters are super collaborative, allow us to see what colleagues are working on while they are out of the office, and help us as a team understand what is taking up our time, this has been a change from our previous ways of working. Adjusting to the new system takes time, but we have received lots of support from our account team over the first few months. One other item is that LawVu doesn't (yet) integrate with shared inboxes, which we use a lot as a team, However, we have managed to figure out ways around this! We have already identified 100+ active contracts that weren't on our radar, as we had previously been working from static excel spreadsheets. Having LawVu allows us to have the data and knowledge for the business to make better decisions. As our company grows, LawVu will enable us to offer more self-serve functionalities to the business, freeing up some of the team's precious time. The interface is very easy on the eye and simple to navigate. The AI contract extraction is a huge time-saver and has taken a lot of the manual effort out of contract management. The Microsoft integrations work seamlessly, making it easy to save documents straight into LawVu. Reporting is also far more insightful than anything we'd get from our previous file-keeping arrangements. There isn't much to dislike, but if I had one wish, it would be more AI functionality outside of the contract management side of the platform. The existing AI tools are extremely useful, so we're excited to see how the product continues to evolve. We'd particularly love to see more AI capabilities within matter management. LawVu has helped us streamline several legal processes through its workflow capabilities, reducing the time spent on repetitive administrative tasks and allowing the team to focus on higher-value work. Contract management is also much more reliable, with key dates, renewals and termination deadlines all tracked in one place, supported by automated reminders. Another major benefit has been giving the wider organisation a simple way to engage with Legal through a self-service portal, whether that's submitting requests, tracking progress, or accessing guidance without needing to contact the team directly. The biggest advantages are improved organization, greater visibility into contract workflows, reduced manual follow-ups, faster turnaround times, and better collaboration with legal teams and business stakeholders. It has the ability and capability to adapt the workflow to our unique business processes. Simple and seamless to connect the system to Microsoft Outlook and our company's SSO. We have had no outages or performance issues. LawVu is very inexpensive compared to other legal tools and we use it much more robustly and extensively. Our implementation manager and customer success manager were very available and responsive and came to each meeting prepared with follow-ups from the prior meeting. It feels modern and accessible compared to other legal tech tools, which was crucial for our office since it lowered the barrier to entry for our team. We didn't need extensive training sessions; the team could start logging matters almost immediately. The way LawVu centralizes files while remaining easy to navigate is key to keeping our department running smoothly. Additionally, the initial setup was surprisingly straightforward and cloud native, which eliminated complex installations and IT overhead. The LawVu implementation team was helpful in mapping our existing folders into their matter structure, allowing us to migrate active files and onboard the team quickly. Right now, the process feels a bit more manual than it needs to be. I find it slightly tedious that we have to enter every single invoice individually, and then wait for a multi-step approval process to clear. I would much prefer a feature that allows us to input a total project budget or a lump sum upfront against a matter. It would save us a lot of clicks if the system could just deduct from a preapproved pool rather than requiring a granular one by one entry for every billable event.
