They mislead you regarding a subscription service. You think you're signing up for a one time form and then 2 months later you see charges on your credit card and you're toast. Nasty way to do business. They misrepresent their service obviously and nail you when peeps forget to remove their card on file. Chargeback time Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Hello Travis,
We apologize for any confusion regarding our subscription model and for any negative experiences you've had with LawDepot. We want to clarify our approach:
We provide a 7-day Free Trial during which you can access and create as many legal documents as needed. The request for credit card information is solely to ensure uninterrupted service once your Free Trial concludes.
Our website explicitly states that subscriptions renew at $35 per month following the Free Trial period. Upon creating a free account, you should receive an email confirming your account creation and reminding you to cancel before the trial transitions to a monthly subscription. If you decide to cancel your subscription within the trial period, no charges will be applied to your account. There's no obligation to maintain a subscription, and you are free to cancel at any time.
If you're encountering issues or have concerns, please do not hesitate to reach out to our support team at https://www.lawdepot.com/help. We are more than willing to investigate this matter further and assist you as best as we can.
Thank you for your understanding.

Lawdepot is a fraudulent company. And has history of charging Customer Credit card without any advance information.
Once a free account is transitioned to paid account, there wont be any intimation that charges will be done.
Ontop of that the company will silently start charging the credit card. There is neither prior intimation nor confirmation mail that such charges are done in the credit card.
On raising this concern their only defense is this charge reflects in credit card statement. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

LawDepot is one of the tools I have wanted to have in my life for a long time; it is helpful on a personal level and for the workplace. Its interface is modern, very dynamic and responds quickly to any action performed, that is, any search for documents, templates and more. I love LawDepot because it prioritizes the interest of each user who makes use of it; I mean precisely that each paper is adjusted to the location so that each person obtains a legal document with the laws established in their state or country so that they do not there is no inconvenience with it. It offers a wide variety of templates in which it is unnecessary to go to a specialist in this area to fill them out since the data of the people involved must be entered. This tool allows the drafting of documents in record time as well as saving costs; the writings typically take me between 30 minutes and 40 minutes but less than an hour; this way, I can have contracts that I can send to the clientele to generate trust and commitment between the parties. It is difficult to give any negative aspects about this platform because it is dynamic and direct and offers many templates. Any required legal document is sure to be found. However, I would like you to give some small indications on how to use it. Not all people are good at browsing or using this tool, which would facilitate its use even more. But leaving this aside, having this tool is of great help on a personal level or for any work environment; drafting any legal document by a professional is highly expensive, and with LawDepot, you can obtain it at a single price. It is a good platform for obtaining templates essential for work.
For example, HR letters templates, office letters, memos, etc. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

LawDepot is very well set up. If you are looking for a legal document, a simple search bar will let you to that document. Pretty easy to use and need for people who deal with legal documents for any reason. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I do not like to say anything about this, as the website itself is very well designed visually. Maybe perhaps a simple videos how to use the software is going to be helpful. But then again the site itself is very visually pleasing and easy to use. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The living will section was needed for a school project. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I used their site for a school project, I hit end trial and it did not go through I guess. I didn't realize that I was still getting charged $33 a month for something I never used after that (plus an international charge fee, cause why would they tell you that up front) When I reached out, the live chat woman told me no to a refund for the first month, so I called for a manager. She wrote me off completely and told me she couldn't tell what I did or didn't do with the website, which you can see how people access your site, I know the back end of a website ma'am. Then when I said I hit end free trial, she was like we can't see that, you must've done something wrong. Just very accusative, with little help. I am thankful for the one month refund, but I obviously didn't use the site and missed that I had gotten charged. Very annoyed with this site, don't use it.
