"Keeps Projects Organized, Needs More Document Flexibility"
3.5/5
What do you like best about LaunchBay?

I like that customers can easily be informed about what is going on in their project. It's one location where we all can look to see what our tasks are, to assign tasks, and to let the customer know where the project is. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about LaunchBay?

I don't love that in the task you can only share documents that are PDFs. It would be nice if it was a document that both the customer and our team could make changes to, add things, and it be a live document, and not just a PDF. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Sam Chlebowski of LaunchBay

Hey Deanne - thanks for the review!

As a heads up: we actually support a wide range of file types well beyond just PDFs. Apologies if this wasn't clear.

You can share images, videos, audio, fonts, text files, SVGs, Word docs, Excel spreadsheets, PowerPoints, CSVs, and a whole lot more. Here's a full breakdown of every supported file type: https://help.launchbay.com/article/162-types-of-files-you-can-upload

All of these can be shared using our "Attach Files" option in the task composer, which attaches files directly to a task so your client can view and download them right from their portal. We also have an "Attach Proofs" option that lets both your team and your clients annotate files with comments and mark them as approved or needs changes. Both options are available in active projects and workflow templates.

If you have any questions about getting this set up, just reach out to us at hello@launchbay.com.

"Centralizes Communication and Tasks for Effortless Cross-Team Coordination"
5/5
What do you like best about LaunchBay?

It centralizes communication, tasks, and timelines in one place, making cross-team coordination much easier and reducing the need to track work across multiple tools. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about LaunchBay?

Portfolio-level visibility could be stronger. A working Gantt view across all projects would be very helpful for tracking timelines and overall progress. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Effortless Client Collaboration in One Organized Portal"
4/5
What do you like best about LaunchBay?

What I appreciate most about Motion.io is how effortlessly it streamlines client collaboration. Rather than having to track down clients through emails, WhatsApp, or various scattered documents, everything is neatly organized within a single, intuitive portal. My clients always know where to upload files, complete tasks, fill out forms, or check for updates, which has greatly reduced confusion. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about LaunchBay?

While Motion.io does a good job of helping organize client work, there are still some aspects that could be enhanced. Certain features seem somewhat limited; for instance, having more extensive customization options for the client portal would be beneficial. Additionally, a more sophisticated automation system and improved integrations with widely used tools, such as CRMs or project management applications, would help streamline the workflow even further. "Launchbay: Simple, Client-Friendly PM with a Great UI"
5/5
What do you like best about LaunchBay?

It is primarily focused on PM through the lens of a client portal. There are tons of internal PM competitors, but Launchbay excels at its simplicity, good UI and ease for clients. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about LaunchBay?

There should be some better project notes/file storage/internal features to keep the whole project contained within LB, opposed to siloed.

It would be nice to have some more internal features without having to create a "project". Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Sam Chlebowski of LaunchBay

It's fantastic reading how LaunchBay excels at project management for your business! Intuitive UI and simplicity for both your team and your clients is a key development focus for us.

If you haven’t explored them yet, LaunchBay includes built-in project notes for each project, along with the ability to upload call transcripts and use AI to automatically generate summaries and follow-up tasks. I’ll include a link with more details.

Looking ahead, a big priority for us in 2026 is further strengthening the admin/internal aspects of our product so your team can do even more directly inside LaunchBay. We ship updates every single Wednesday, and you can stay up to date by visiting our changelog: https://launchbay.com/changelog

"Streamlined Client Onboarding and Follow-Ups with Clear Process Visibility."
4.5/5
What do you like best about LaunchBay?

It's made onboarding clients, and in particular following them up for essential information, a whole lot more streamlined. It also gives the clients a high level view of the process which has saved us replicating this elsewhere. The support is also excellent. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about LaunchBay?

I can only think of one thing - marking requested file uploads as mandatory to avoid clients marking our requests as complete when they haven't provided all of the required information. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Sam Chlebowski of LaunchBay

Thanks for the glowing review, Joel!

Love reading that the support from our team has been top-notch and that LaunchBay is helping eliminate one of the most frustrating parts of running a business by automatically following up with clients for the information you need.

On file uploads, one quick tip: if a client tries to complete a task without submitting all required files, LaunchBay will prompt them before allowing the task to be marked complete. To fully prevent incomplete submissions, you can enable "Require Team Review," which keeps the task open until your team confirms everything is received. If something’s missing, you can quickly send it back to the client.

If that doesn’t quite fit your workflow, definitely let us know. Customer feedback directly shapes what we build next, and every request is logged and tracked.

"Effortless Client Collaboration and Project Management"
5/5
What do you like best about LaunchBay?

Motion.io has completely streamlined how we manage client projects and communication. We use it to organize bookkeeping, tax, and marketing workflows for dozens of small businesses, and it’s made client collaboration so much easier. The interface is clean, clients love how simple it is to upload files and track tasks, and automations help keep projects on schedule without endless follow-up emails. Their support team is incredibly responsive and open to feedback, which makes the experience even better. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about LaunchBay?

There’s very little to dislike — the platform is still growing, so a few areas like template flexibility and deeper integration options (QuickBooks, Google Drive, etc.) could be expanded. But the team is actively improving and releases updates frequently, so it’s clear they’re listening to user feedback. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
