The ability to add many different social networks, even on the free plan, was very appealing and therefore played a big role in pushing me towards this platform versus other competitors who only offer a limited selection of social networks to be added on their free plan. I also liked the fact that you can upload all your media (graphics, infographics, etc.) to the media library and then drag and drop straight onto the calendar. **What do you dislike about Later Social?** The Facebook API is very faulty and keeps disconnecting, which renders the scheduling and automation features useless, if we need to do everything manually ourselves. Posts that had to go out at a critical time were missed as a result of this. We tried on numerous occasions to reconnect and everything seemed fine, but as soon as it was time for the scheduled Facebook post to be posted, the connection broke, Also, posting to simultaneous networks at once was not possible, which tripled our workload. I was under the impression that we could do something similar to Hootsuite, whereby we can draft one post, with graphics and everything included, schedule it for a particular time, and then tick which social networks we want this to appear on. Later required us to draft a seperate post for each social network which seems very backwards and counter-productive. We went back to using Hootsuite. **Recommendations to others considering Later Social:** Definitely do the free trial first, and make sure that you are happy with the limitations of this tool (because there are certainly a few). Do not commit to a long-term social media strategy before trialing the product, and be prepared to experience glitches and errors. **What problems is Later Social solving and how is that benefiting you?** The problem of scheduling multiple posts at times when we will not be in the office, and also freeing up time for other tasks later. Typically, in any given month, we have a clear idea of what themes and topics we want to discuss on social media, and therefore these posts can be created in advance, with clear dates in mind for when they are posted. It saves a lot of time to do this once and then schedule everything, rather than having to be available on the aforementioned dates on a post-by-post basis. Those were, in principle, the benefits, but there were too many bugs and errors for these to be realised. ### 10. It allows me to schedule posts on multiple platforms. It suggests hashtags that generate greater engagement and even the right time to post content based on page-specific audience analysis. It's only been a few months since I have been using it and I'm yet to learn a lot about this tool. But however limited my use of it is, it is all very helpful. I also use its linkin.bio feature that allows me to connect my company's blog posts to its Instagram bio and it works great. It has a really nice interface too. I plan to use more of this tool in the future since it already saves a lot of my time with the limited features I use currently. **What do you dislike about Later Social?** So far I haven't found anything worth complaining about. Maybe when I'll start using it more regularly, I'll find some problems. Right now, I like it a lot for scheduling and linking posts. **What problems is Later Social solving and how is that benefiting you?** I have been using Later for scheduling and linking posts for quite a while now. Its free version allows 30 posts in a month, unlimited uploads in the media library, and posting to 4 accounts. I'm still exploring this tool and it's really nice in my experience so far. I'm able to link external posts on Instagram using linkin.bio, can schedule posts ahead of time, do not have to make a social media calendar elsewhere, and can analyze social media growth using Later. ### 11. I choose to use the specific platforms to plan and schedule out social content now because it is also free and easy to create captions this way. **What do you dislike about Later Social?** I wish that there were some more features in the free plan, like looking back at posts from 2 weeks ago and scheduling stories. Later also seamlessly connects the "link in bio" feature to the rest of the post content, simplifying the post process and automating it so that we don't have to update any links on Instagram manually, which is an incredible time-saver. **What do you dislike about Later Social?** The layout can sometimes get clogged up and aesthetically confusing, with images on top of each other in the calendar. In addition, some of the unused images that are marked unused can't easily be marked used or quickly deleted.
