I like being able to schedule posts and manage multiple accounts inside. Their blog and email content are worth your attention alone. Incredible. **What do you dislike about Later Social?** Limited functionality on mobile. All the real heavy lifting and insights have to be done on desktop. Due to limitations imposed by Instagram you cannot schedule carousels to go live. Might as well just manage from the native app. Not later's fault, it just is what it is. I'm able to take screenshots and export our data that I use in my quarterly reporting. I also really love the drag and drop feature when planning my feed. The Link in Bio feature also allows us to share different pieces of content with each post. I also really love their newsletters, as they provide helpful insights within the industry. **What do you dislike about Later Social?** Not being able to bill accounts separately. Since I manage social media accounts for multiple accounts, I want to be able to have them all logged into one username (when signed-in on my phone), but bill each one separately. **What problems is Later Social solving and how is that benefiting you?** Being able to have valuable insights on Instagram posts allows me to show my clients how well their platform is growing. ### 3. There are plenty of features with Later that I have yet to test, but here are my favorites that I have found: 1. Scheduling ahead of time - this is pretty obvious. Later allows you to schedule up to 60 posts ahead and up to 100 days ahead of time (if you have upgraded your account from the free version). This means you can plan out your SoMe so that you can ensure your team will never forget to post again. (ps - use Auto-post for this!). 2. Preview Grid - you can choose to look at your scheduled posts as a calendar (easy for planning purposes), but you can also preview what your grid is going to look like. This is imperative for your brand identity. You want to make sure that the posts you have chosen and the sequence you are posting them in will make sense for your audience. You want your grid to give off a certain feel. Previously I used Planoly for this, but I prefer using the grid in the preview for this. 3. Hashtag recommender - if you have upgraded your account to a business account you can also get recommendations for hashtags which will save you a tremendous amount of time. **What do you dislike about Later Social?** Later is a great tool, but there are some things I wish they would improve on as a paid user: 1. Allow for more posts to be scheduled ahead of time - I am not so worried about how many days I can schedule ahead of time, but more so the amount of posts. I like to make sure that as many posts are in the pipeline as possible. 2. Better customer service / help - I have had some issues where I have gotten frustrated because the help guides and /or the customer service representatives have not been as helpful as I would like. Later could benefit from improving on this point. **Recommendations to others considering Later Social:** If you are using Later, please remember what you have put in the queue to be posted or check on it when something major happens. Because we are so far ahead on our schedule, we have ended up having some posts from our account that just did not sit well with what was going on in the world. It's very intuitive, easy to use and has a great support team. I don't have any marketing background but thanks to the tips Later has shared with us about managing our social media accounts I feel more confident about what I'm doing and I must say it's actually working pretty well with our audience. **What do you dislike about Later Social?** I was missing a business plan for small biz like ours. We only post once/day most of the time and only have one account on each social media. However we appreciate all the business tools that are included in superior plans. Now there's Annual Plus that seem to adapt better to our needs but we will be missing an standard linkin.bio for this plan. I know Later was initially based on Instagram however I miss advice on other social media, our account on Pinterest is growing exponentially but we don't know how we could maximise our posts and increase conversions. **Recommendations to others considering Later Social:** More advice in other social media beyond Instagram, specially Pinterest. I use it for my hobbies, so jumping up to the paid version is just not worth it for me. Being able to easily and quickly schedule posts and just know that they will be posted makes it so much easier than having to use my phone at the right time. **What do you dislike about Later Social?** I know I get the service for free and shouldn't really complain, but I would like to be able to add more than one photo at a time and also be able to add videos. But of course, they need to have features that people are willing to pay for and I suppose those are the important ones. One small dislike I have with the interface on the PC is you can't move a day at a time when viewing the calendar but only a week at a time. I also could not do my job without the scheduling/notification feature since social media is just a small part of my job. The new feature to be able to schedule stories, has also been super helpful, and I like the copy text feature that makes it easy to add the text when you are publishing your Instagram stories. Analytics for both posts and stories are super, super helpful. More importantly, Later provides the link in bio feature and it's super easy to use! Also, the price is really good. I hope they keep it that way so I can keep using it. **What do you dislike about Later Social?** If it was a little more full featured for Facebook. There's also a little issue with putting the stories at the right time from the get go, but these are minor issues for me. Preview Mode is such a useful tool to help me plan our magazine's Instagram Business account. It's actually starting to give us more social media deliverables. **What do you dislike about Later Social?** I wish they could add a LinkedIn scheduler to their roster. That will definitely help us unify all our social media accounts into this one platform. I don't think that's a missing piece that a lot of social media management platforms haven't quite mastered yet. I still find the most reliable way to post on LinkedIn is right on its website. **Recommendations to others considering Later Social:** Give the free account a try. It will surprise you how much you can do with just a basic account. After getting started though, the paid version is worth the money to take your Instagram game to the next level. It was useful to be present on Instagram but that's where our audience engagement stopped. We had no direct way of attracting that audience to our main website. Also, as an unexpected addition, the Later blogs have been great for inspiring marketing and content ideas for growing our brand on Instagram. ### 19. It lets me pick the photos all at once and write text all at once. Then it gives me a chance to edit the text for each site and arrange/crop the photos differently for each site and then I can auto-publish at a future date/time. So I've set up my posts for the week and then not worried about it again! I don't get side tracked down the "rabbit hole" of looking at everyone else's posts. I create my posts and I'm out. LOVE it! For Instagram I have to manually push a few buttons when it is time to publish posts with multiple photos, but Later sends me a reminder and walks me through it. It takes about 10 seconds.
