4.5/5
What do you like best about Last9?

We started using the Log Analytics feature in the Last9 Levitate platform, and the team has been consistently adding capabilities that quickly addressed our needs. I appreciate the transparency into their product roadmap, their availability for quick and responsive support, and the cost-effectiveness of the platform. The diverse integration options also make it very easy to get started without heavy setup. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Last9?

Since the Log Analytics feature is still relatively new, it currently lacks some of the advanced functionality that larger vendors offer. However, with the pace at which Last9 is building, I believe it can soon reach feature parity while maintaining a much more cost-efficient approach. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Reliable and Cost-Effective Tool for Log Tracking with Excellent Support"
5/5
What do you like best about Last9?

We’ve been using Last9 primarily for log tracking, and it has been quite smooth so far. The platform makes it easy to view, filter, and correlate logs, which really helps when debugging issues.

One of the biggest advantages we’ve seen is the cost efficiency, it’s comparatively less expensive than other observability tools we’ve used or evaluated. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Last9?

There is a bit of a learning curve in the beginning, setting up dashboards and getting familiar with the data flow takes some time, but once you get accustomed to it, the experience becomes much smoother. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Reliable Observability with a Smooth Learning Curve and Room for UI Improvements"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Last9?

As a developer in the fintech space, I really appreciate how easy Last9 is to use. The learning curve is minimal — you don’t need to dig through heavy documentation just to get started. The user interface is clean and intuitive, which makes it easy to filter logs, view metrics, and understand system behavior at a glance.

In terms of implementation, it was fairly straightforward to integrate Last9 into our existing observability stack. The platform supports seamless integration with multiple environments and services, which is a big plus in a microservices-heavy architecture like ours.

I use Last9 almost daily, especially during incident investigation or performance monitoring. The real-time analytics and visualizations are extremely valuable for identifying anomalies quickly and reducing mean time to resolution (MTTR). Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Last9?

One thing that can be frustrating is the occasional UI lag or unresponsiveness. Sometimes, the dashboard doesn’t reflect updates properly unless you do a hard refresh or switch screens, which suggests that cache handling might not be optimal. This can slow things down when you're in the middle of troubleshooting an issue.

Also, while the platform has a good range of features, there’s still room for enhancement around session management and auto-refresh stability to improve the overall experience. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Efficient, customer-first observability built for dynamic scale"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Last9?

Last9 stood out in our rigorous PoC evaluations due to its reliability-first observability model, cost efficiency, and engineering-friendly interface. Their focus on SLOs, reliability scores, and proactive monitoring aligned closely with our operational priorities. What truly differentiates them, though, is how deeply invested their support and customer success teams are—during IPL season when our traffic scaled dramatically on a daily basis, Last9 tuned their infrastructure dynamically to meet our specific needs, something we’ve never experienced with other vendors. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Last9?

Not much to dislike at this stage. If anything, I’d say the product is still evolving and there are a few integrations and features we’d like to see built out more natively. That said, the team has consistently incorporated our feedback into their roadmap, so we’re confident these gaps will close quickly. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Awesome team with continuously evolving well built product"
5/5
What do you like best about Last9?

• Single pane for logs, traces, and metrics: Whether debugging via logs or identifying the slowest requests through dashboards, Last9 gives us everything we need in one place — no need to juggle multiple tools. This not only saves time but is also more cost-efficient.

• Logs Explorer, Traces Explorer, and Dashboards: These features have significantly reduced our Mean Time to Detect (MTTD). The correlation across telemetry data has helped us uncover issues we couldn't catch with our earlier tools.

• High cardinality support: Last9 allows us to track data much more granularly, which has been crucial for understanding edge cases and fine-grained performance metrics. In our case, tracking our main entity ID made our life easy.

• 1:1 support over Slack: One of the best parts of working with Last9 is their responsive support. The team is quick to jump in, even joining calls when needed, and they actively incorporate user feedback into product updates. It's great working with such a dynamic and engaged team.

• Continuous improvement: The Last9 team keeps improving the product based on the feedback. They are always ready to learn the pain points and implement the best solution. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Last9?

"Simplifying Observability with Last9's Unified Platform"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Last9?

Unified Observability:

Last9 brings logs, metrics, and traces into a single pane of glass. No more juggling between tools; everything is correlated and accessible in one place. This integration has significantly reduced our Mean Time to Detect (MTTD) and has streamlined our debugging process.

Handling High Cardinality:

Our applications generate a vast amount of high-cardinality data, and traditional tools struggled to keep up. Last9's platform handles this effortlessly, allowing us to monitor granular details without performance hits. Features like the Cardinality Explorer and Streaming Aggregations have been particularly helpful.

Control Plane:

The Control Plane is a standout feature. It offers real-time telemetry management, enabling us to define pre-ingestion workflows for data filtering and enrichment. This means we can manage our data proactively, ensuring only relevant information is stored and analyzed.

Cost Efficiency:

With Last9's "pay for what you use" pricing model, we've seen a noticeable reduction in our observability costs. There's no per-host or per-user billing, which makes budgeting straightforward and predictable.

Exceptional support:

The 1:1 support over Slack has been invaluable Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Last9?

I've been using Last9 for the last 6 months, and it's been really helpful for managing our systems. It combines metrics, logs, and traces in one place, making it easier to find and fix issues quickly. What I like the most is how it handles large amounts of data without slowing down. The interface is simple to use, and the alerts work well to catch problems early. Overall, it's made my work smoother and saved a lot of time.

The graphical tools make it easier to understand and identify issues or track user actions effectively, which greatly speeds up the debugging process. It brings together metrics, logs, and traces on a single platform, simplifying system monitoring and debugging without the need to juggle multiple tools. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Last9?

While using Last9, I found that the platform has so many features that it can feel overwhelming at first. It took me some time to figure things out, and having a simpler introduction for new users would make a big difference.I also felt the need for more detailed guides and tutorials to understand how to use the advanced features properly. It would save a lot of trial and error.

Another thing I noticed is that customising dashboards and alerts isn’t as straightforward as I’d like. Making this process easier would help users tailor the platform to their specific needs much faster. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
