First of all, I like that this app is free until you start paying taxes. At the beginning of his activity, he used it for almost 8 months to control the economic nexus when he sold his goods to other states. I think this is suitable for start-up businesses. It was also convenient for me that the application is very easy to install on my Shopify store. The help of developers or an accountant was not required. The trouble started when I signed up for salestax in Illinois and then Ohio. I had to pay tax on every order that I sent to these states. It turned out that in Shopify, the Lovat application does not support tax calculation during checkout. I studied this issue and it turned out that no application supports such a calculation according to Shopify's internal rules. This is rather inconvenient. The most inconvenient thing is that we cannot pay taxes through the Lovat platform. If in America we have no problems with this - the tax debits itself, then in Europe and Asian countries we have to make a bank transfer every time. This takes a significant amount of time at the end of each quarter. It is still complicated by the fact that taxes are paid in different currencies. LOVAT is an Automatic Tax filling solution, that collects all our sales details and data, for accurate tax computation. Using Lovat Professional Account, I monitor the due dates for all my clients and the state of tax collected in stores. This service is very convenient, the dashboard is not bulky, which allows me to work comfortably even with poor internet. Using the Tax registration Service, I independently ordered VAT certificates for my clients, which in turn allowed me to control the entire process from application and paying to release. The hardest part for me is integrating with my clients’ sales channels. Integration with Amazon, eBay and Shopify does not raise questions. But integrations such as WooCommerce or Magento is difficult for me, I cannot do it on my own and have to involve an external specialist. I like that LOVAT covers many various countries including EU and non-EU for my tax reporting as previously I had to use different services to file everything.
