First of all, I like that this app is free until you start paying taxes. At the beginning of his activity, he used it for almost 8 months to control the economic nexus when he sold his goods to other states. I think this is suitable for start-up businesses. It was also convenient for me that the application is very easy to install on my Shopify store. The help of developers or an accountant was not required. What do you dislike about Lappa? The trouble started when I signed up for salestax in Illinois and then Ohio. I had to pay tax on every order that I sent to these states. It turned out that in Shopify, the Lovat application does not support tax calculation during checkout. I studied this issue and it turned out that no application supports such a calculation according to Shopify's internal rules. This is rather inconvenient. I use the Lovat app to pay taxes on my sales to different states. This is quite convenient for me since I do not have to deal with the rules of each state. It is very useful that reminders come that you need to submit some kind of report. I generally do not like to waste time on any bureaucracy and therefore the automation of the tax accounting process is necessary for me. At the initial stage of my business, the Lovat application helped me figure out where to pay and register, and where it is not needed yet. My accountant couldn't explain it clearly to me. The Lovat reporting service is another of our indispensable assistants, and the ability to send report forms directly to the tax authorities without uploading them to additional services significantly reduces the time required to process this task. A nice bonus for us was the participation in the promotion "discounts for Amazon sellers". And when a new invoice for payment with a big discount came, the incredible surprise was replaced by delight! An excellent part of the software in a mobile application. There is an accountant's calendar, SMS reminders, visibility of the status of sent returns, feedback from the tax authorities, and many other pleasant moments. The service of the software and consulting by the specialists of the support center are very convenient. We receive complete and prompt responses. I'll give them a 10 plus. The most inconvenient thing is that we cannot pay taxes through the Lovat platform. If in America we have no problems with this - the tax debits itself, then in Europe and Asian countries we have to make a bank transfer every time. This takes a significant amount of time at the end of each quarter. It is still complicated by the fact that taxes are paid in different currencies. At the very beginning, it took us time to find a bank that would support payments in the currencies that we needed. I really hope that Lovat will be able to offer this block to his users. The hardest part for me is integrating with my clients’ sales channels. Integration with Amazon, eBay and Shopify does not raise questions. But integrations such as WooCommerce or Magento is difficult for me, I cannot do it on my own and have to involve an external specialist. Although there are integration guides, they are difficult for some channels. It is also sometimes necessary to update integrations when a new software generation is released. I chose Lovat and the Tax agent tariff plan as the most convenient for me. I pay a certain amount for using the software, its amount does depend on the number of my clients. Lovat give me a considerable discount. Therefore, my profit depends on my activity, and I am interested in attracting more customers. It is also convenient that payments for using the program can be made every month, which is very convenient for small businesses since you do not have to immediately withdraw a large amount from working capital. I like that LOVAT covers many various countries including EU and non-EU for my tax reporting as previously I had to use different services to file everything.
