Product Development Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.) 5/20/2019 "Free system, but works ehh" 2.5/5 What do you like best about Lanshark? Definitely value for money, since it's FREE! Although it works extremely well don't think this will resolve any networking issues you might already have. I used this thinking it would simplify setting up my network, but it just ended up running into the same roadblocks. It does, however, make managing your shared files and folders much easier, so give it a go if you are not happy with the built-in OS solution you might have. Features include easy to configure and use, fast searching, cross platform, user interface (GTK), integrated web server, additional web interface, and automatic peer detection. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com. What do you dislike about Lanshark? Downsides of using this system are since it is free, it isn't a very good one. You can really only search on this platform. Look for alternative products now! When compared to other platforms, this one has the least stars, least features, and looks the least put together on a comparison of platform visualization. Not supported on mobile. No support or training provided by this vendor. Only a couple companies have fully attempted to use this product and ultimately didn't use after trying to implement. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com. Recommendations to others considering Lanshark: I honestly wouldn't suggest this system at all. You can tell it is far behind and needs a lot of growth.
