Laneway Reception is an AI phone receptionist for Australian allied-health clinics that run on Cliniko or Nookal: physiotherapy, chiropractic, osteopathy, podiatry, psychology, myotherapy, hand therapy and more. It answers calls 24/7 in a natural voice, reads live practitioner availability, and books, cancels and reschedules appointments directly in the clinic's own Cliniko or Nookal calendar while the patient is still on the line. Before any appointment is disclosed or changed, callers are matched to their patient record by phone number and name. It takes messages and emails the clinic straight away, and puts urgent callers through to a nominated number. Every call is recorded, with a transcript and summary, in a private clinic dashboard. On Clinic and Practice plans it also texts no-shows to rebook and offers cancelled slots to the waitlist. The clinic keeps its existing number and forwards calls to Laneway. There's no software to install and no setup fee, and monthly plans have no lock-in. It's usually live within one business day of setup.
