Their integrations with slack, and via webhooks helped us have real-time visibility to our customer's behavior. The bots have sophisticated functions and data processing blocks to validate the user input before sending it out to the server. With that, we were able to control the user input and journey where the user can inquire about his order and confirm certain feedback. **What do you dislike about Landbot?** The webhooks, channel logs are hard to find. It automatically creates a new bot every time I accidentally click on the bot button. I can not turn off notifications for some time, and it always set my status to online. I can't control the roles of the team members. Sometimes the API response is not very descriptive. I can not see a list of the most used HSM template messages. I can not see the status of WhatsApp messages ( typing, message delivered, message read ) in WhatsApp conversations. **Recommendations to others considering Landbot:** It will save you the implementation time. The interface is pretty clear, and the widgets for embedding the bot are not too heavy resource-wise. **What do you dislike about Landbot?** I'd like to be able to test my bots from other parts of the flows, not from start each and every time. The first (starting) step is also something I miss the flexibility with, ie. I'd like to have different conditions as a first step to the bot, not a Welcome message all the time. The price is extremely high if you want to use webhooks and other a bit more sophisticated functionalities, and I find it extremely hard to defend the price when trying to sell the bots to my clients. I honestly think if they lowered the price they would benefit a lot with new businesses adopting the service. Lack of additional agents by default is also something I would like to change, as well as not being able to easily develop the bot on my test account and making a template out of it so I can transfer it to another owner in the future. **What problems is Landbot solving and how is that benefiting you?** I mostly use landbot for lead gen and support. I heard about them, but never actually tried building one. Actually... I did once — and stop midway because it was SO FREAKING HARD to get it to do what I wanted, that I had to quit. My experience with Landbot was the total opposite. Building a logic for your ideas is super easy. You just drag and drop the blocks to get the bot to do exactly what you want. The premium features are amazing at giving you the right flexibility for the conversation to sound natural and easy to understand for users. On top of that, the bot looks great on any device and you can brand it to match your business. **What do you dislike about Landbot?** If your logic flow gets too convoluted, it can get messy. Too many arrows and they don't easily show you where each one goes from and to. Moving things around and reconnecting blocks could also be easier. Still, not a dealbreaker at all. I like the fact that I can build a quiz for free and Zap the things that I need. The pricing tiers are reasonable, and worth the money when demand requires it. The training videos were easy to understand and are hosted on a separate website and page so I could make adjustments as I watched. The few times that I had a question, a human answered in a reasonable amount of time - during COVID and likely from home. I highly recommend starting with a sample Bot then tweaking it from there in order to learn the functions. **What do you dislike about Landbot?** Building a quiz was no easy task-it took me hours to figure out how to begin but I enjoyed every moment of it. You don't realize, until your deep in the trenches, how much space you'll need on the Grid - the canvas where your masterpiece is created. This feature is probably by design, but I had to minimize the grid in order to move my questions around in addition to stretching arrows-the workflow directions. I upgraded my plan and then downgraded when I realized that the Stripe feature neither worked with Facebook messenger nor allowed me to upsell and charge tax effectively. **Recommendations to others considering Landbot:** If you have no patience, then hire a pro on upwork or fiverr to create your Bot. The hardest part is figuring out the question flow and accompanying images/giphys. The second hardest part is loading that data in Landbot. **What problems is Landbot solving and how is that benefiting you?** Prospective customers were bouncing off my website so I needed a quiz to help solidify a product. Landbot has a wide array of features, and the blocks/modules seem almost never-ending. There is a block for EVERYTHING you could ever want and it's one of the few chatbot platforms I've used that supports a payment processor while not being exclusively tied to Facebook, this bot can operate on your site independently. Stripe + Google Sheets + Webhooks + Zapier is really a dream come true. Not to mention, their support has always been there to help troubleshoot any issues I've faced, such as bringing in working JS from one bot platform to Landbot, not understanding the nuances of Landbot. Their developers sent over the amended code and it purrs like a kitten now. **What do you dislike about Landbot?** Honestly? And this is very cliche, but nothing. I don't dislike anything. I do wish the Facebook Channel set up was a bit easier, and that they offered One-Time Notifications like some competitors do so that you can ping users outside of the 24 hour window, but I get that through other bots which are a bit more "optimized" for Facebook. Landbot as a support bot is A++ though. **Recommendations to others considering Landbot:** Try out Landbot 100%! It is feature-rich and an overall great experience when using it. The ability to organize your flow into "Bricks" which allows you to store a set of blocks within its own environment to keep things neat and decluttered is awesome. It's made creating bots inside the platform an absolute dream. **What problems is Landbot solving and how is that benefiting you?** I've been able to implement Landbot as a support/help solution by providing answers to common questions and pointing users in the right directions, either internally or externally. I've also been able to implement easy and seamless checkout experiences for clients using the Stripe integration which has been extremely helpful. The best thing is the very intuitive building area, an expendable canvas that allows the fast creation of simple as well as very complex bots that for example make use of extensive scripts, dynamic data visualizations or API calls to services like Zapier and Google Sheets. **What do you dislike about Landbot?** Not all flow element interfaces show the same behaviour, they should be unified eventually, eg. you can easily choose variables from a list in a lot of flow elements, but not everywhere - even though they work when you use a special syntax as a workaround. (But I'm sure these small design flaws will be ironed out in later versions of the still fairly new V3 interface.) **What problems is Landbot solving and how is that benefiting you?** We like the "conversational web" and started using Landbot as an onboarding tool for new members as well as an assistant for different tasks on our website. ### 42. No coding skills required to have a fully functional bot - so marketing can do this 100% on its own without a developer. * We trialed a few bots and chose LandBot because the interface was easier to use, and pricing was hands-down better. The interface is super-easy to use once you get the hang of it. * Support is SUPERB so any questions you have, they are there quite quickly. * Non-profit needs to qualify people for gov't financed services, LandBot makes this easy. More people will interact with the bot than a web form. * Compared to others Eg. Drift (super expensive) the price is right. For one user it is E30, for 2 users it is E40, yet for what we needed from Drift, that was about $500. So this is good for smaller and nimbler marketing teams. * Easy to customize the design for the brand's look-and-feel. We even have color-coded bots, and use the brand mark as the "bot" avatar. **What do you dislike about Landbot?** * Not easy to integrate with Google Tag Manager (that feature is coming). I would recommend making this part of the knowledge base more clear. I needed a lot of help here and it was a bit confusing until I figured out it could not be done with the version I was using. * Not easy to add event tracking with FB pixel, nor where to add it, I needed help here. * There is easy to read straight forward reporting. But if you want something specific, it is not easy to create reports, sort of stuck with their "basic" reporting or need to sort through a massive Excel spreadsheet export, so add 30 minutes to your day. * LandBot works well as a pop-up on any WordPress website. When we wanted to install it as a stand-alone page on the website, we needed the website developer to upload the code via FTP, we could not do this in WordPress, this needs to be done. Not a "dislike" but letting you know. **Recommendations to others considering Landbot:** Highly recommended for non coding marketing teams that don't want to pull developer time for every single thing. You don't need to have your decision tree planned out 100% in advance before building your Bot. You can "design and build" at the same time, and change later. You'll only need the website administrator to upload some code to the website if you want LandBot to work as a stand-alone page/feature on your own URL.
