What do you like best about LabWare LIMS?

What do you dislike about LabWare LIMS?

System is based on "LIMS basic" which inhibits functionality due to its age. Basis on what is now an archaic coding system greatly limits learners and technicians to the specificity this language demands Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is LabWare LIMS solving and how is that benefiting you?

Labware is aiding our transition from a Microsoft database platform (Excel, Access, VB) to a dedicated LIMS system. The unification of these systems under a single platform aided by manipulation through SQL editors has simplified our database structure and allowed many different types of user to utilize the same interface Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about LabWare LIMS?

I find Labware LIMS a robust product. It provides easy navigation for functionality, result entry, and reporting and meets compliance requirements.

LIMS application provides functionality to enhance existing functionality for their module. This customization is more straightforward than I have observed in many other enterprise systems.

The Service support for the product is top-notch, and the email distribution list to ask questions is very effective and authentic. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about LabWare LIMS?

Reporting is complex, mainly if you use the old LIMS version. It isn't straightforward to generate graphs if you don't know all the data and can't have multiple charts in one go. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is LabWare LIMS solving and how is that benefiting you?

We use LIMS for Lot Management, Environment monitoring, and reagent inventory and having one place for all these activities helps us to streamline our processes. Using LIMS allows us better control data entry and meet the need for compliance for GMP need. Reporting provides an easy way to retrieve data. The LIMS application has reduced the paper-based system required to document results. It is an efficient system that provides check and balances from the start to the end of the sample lifecycle. What do you like best about LabWare LIMS?

LabWare is infinitely configurable to your business needs. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about LabWare LIMS?

The User Interface is not intuitive and the visual workflow solution is only a surface level enhancement that takes the user back to data entry and admin screens that haven't changed in 20 years.

Also, with very little OOB functionality, setup requires more time and tedious configurations than other LIMS products. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Labware LIMS Basic Training"

What do you like best about LabWare LIMS?

I have been using Labware LIMS for over 20 years, and our labs have been paperless since it was rolled out in 2003. It is very configurable and has allowed us to build functionality to serve specific business needs. It is an excellent product.

Recently, I attended a 3-day course for LIMS Basic and found it to be very usefull and directly related to my daily work. The trainer was highly knowledgeable and very helpful. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
