All my interactions have been very positive. I also appreciate how customizable everything is. We've customized inventories, experiment layouts, and protocol layouts to fit our specific needs.I also really like the newest layout. It feels clean and easy to read. I love the forms feature. That is helping us to keep our experiment entries consistent for experiments we repeat often. **What do you dislike about Labguru ELN LIMS?** The learning curve is steep, especially for our lab members who are less comfortable working with new digital user interfaces. Some parts feel more like a programming UI, which is not intuitive for some of our lab members. Doing some actions (like customizing equipment maintenance, and creating forms) have to be done in a specific way with specific steps in a specific order, which can be difficult for folks who only occasionally do those actions. I do understand that to have all these aspects be as customizable as they are, it's hard to make the UI simple. Maybe if it was easier to find features by searching for them in the search bar, that would be helpful. We also wish it was easier to automatically add consumables that we purchase and that there was a way to make purchases through LabGuru. Manually adding consumables and chemicals purchased is annoying. **Recommendations to others considering Labguru ELN LIMS:** LabGuru does everything they say it will do - it lets you keep track of inventory, easily create experiment pages, protocols, equipment logs, etc. Almost all features are customizable so you can build it to suit your specific needs. The only downsides are: no purchasing (and so no auto-updating) of inventory items and the learning curve can be steep if folks are not used to clicking around and reading help pages. But in general, LabGuru fulfills all our needs with the most responsive and friendly customer service I've ever encountered from a business. **What problems is Labguru ELN LIMS solving and how is that benefiting you?** LabGuru has allowed us to make experiment and protocol templates, which saves time and increases uniformity across everyone's experiments. This is especially helpful for experiments that are done repeatedly with different samples. Being able to easily search for experiments or samples is also very helpful and saves us time. We especially love that everyone's experiments, stocks, and samples are easily searched and viewed by any scientist in the company so we know what stocks are available or not and understand what work is happening across different teams. ### 7. It’s not just an e-Lab notebook ! All the tools are really well connected together, and the whole platform of LabGuru allows to have a very detailed virtual version of the lab. And everything is easy to use ! The e-Notebook system for experiments is handy. We particularly appreciate the Excel spreadsheet tool and the possibility to connect an experiment to any other element inside LabGuru with the Linked Resources option. In only one year of use, we experienced the platform evolving. Some small weaknesses are improved, and additional tools are often coming up. In a nutshell, Labguru allowed us to conduct scientific activities quickly and efficiently. The entire platform is made to offer a customized experience based on the needs of the company. Figures from data are incorporated easily in experiment reports and raw data is attached. Reviewing and witnessing are simple for managers and supervisors. The combination simplifies the assembly and review of official reports by keeping all the data together. The quick referencing of inventories within the system also saves a lot of time otherwise spent looking up catalog and lot numbers. Ultimately productivity and accuracy went up. The staff at Labguru have always been helpful as new products roll out.
