I like that I can see my team members. It is simple to use. I like that it has channels and announcements that can be shared and saved so that team members can review when needed. Customer support is always quick and ready to respond to my questions. It was an easy setup and able to quickly get everyone on board and integrate. Everyone now uses it as soon as they log in. Kumospace delivers all of the advantages of working together with collegues in an in-person office setting without all of the drawbacks like a long commute or having to find parking. We appreciate the flexibility of Kumospace and the way it supports both our virtual office and our online educational events. We have set up multiple floors, including office spaces, classrooms and keynote rooms. Event participants could easily find their way around - the navigation was intuitive, even for teachers who are only familiar with platforms like Google Meet or Teams. They all enjoyed the setup and design, and many stayed on the platform to network even after the webinars had ended. The ability to record and download every webinar or meeting is a major added value. With the help of friendly customer support, we were able to set up Kumospace quickly. With Kumospace, our team is always within easy reach. It truly feels like working together in the same physical office - we can drop in at any time to ask a quick question. For months, we searched for a solution for our online events that included recordings and allowed participants to follow multiple webinars at the same time, while still being intuitive to use. My boss asked me to find some sort of platform where the entire team can see each other and be more accessible to each other as we all work remotely. Kumospace fits that to a tee. It is so much easier to just pop over to a coworker's office or our boss's office for questions instead of messaging back and forth. Being able to decorate the office space has also allowed everyone the creative freedom to decorate their own offices. Everyone loves it! It is still a work in process to remember to close your office door and/or mark yourself away if you are truly not available. We also get a little bit of a chuckle when we see our boss moving towards our office for a chat but we feel much more accessible to each other this way instead of having to message "hey are you available for a call". It took some time to play around for us to get it integrated fully, especially those who are not as tech savvy. We now use this everyday! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com. What do you dislike about Kumospace? We have had some glitches with Kumospace, especially when screen sharing for presentations. It does not seem to play nicely with Indesign. We've also had issues previously where someone might get kicked out of Kumospace due to losing internet access and when they try to get back in once internet connection is restored, they are unable to and have to restart their computer first. As our team works remotely and we are spread out throughout the US, Kumospace has allowed us to have a space where it is much easier to see and chat with everyone. It has eliminated having to message each other for availability before hopping on a call. It also gives us more access to our boss for simple chats, as if we really were in an office together. The ability to have team meetings, receive clients, do quick one-on-one meetings within the team... All without the need to create and share meeting links. Everybody can create their own office, and you can create creative meeting spaces. Clients love the unique experience of visiting our virtual HQ on Kumospace. Kumospace fosters the water-cooler moments that you lose as a distributed team. By enabling our team to see one another in the office when we're working late, see the engineering team brainstorming in a conference room or to hold all-hands meetings in the Board room really adds a level of team culture that was absent with just Slack. Maybe one friction point is that we would love to bring outiders to out office and while the account setup is pretty easy, most people don't understand how to control their avatars or how to switch between the views immediately so it makes it harder to bring in clients, investors, etc. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com. You don't necessarily feel like you're part of something bigger than yourself. With Kumospace you can see your teammates working, you can see them moving about the office and you can pop into one anothers' offices without needing to schedule a meeting which feels overly transactional. We always have been a remote company with employees all over the world. We have been used to Zoom meetings or Google Hangouts. Since the pandemic, we had even more people in the home office and were looking for a place to be and work together again virtually. With Kosy we found the perfect solution for this.
