"Kucoin Customer Service is Pathetic"

What do you like best about Kucoin?

I cannot honestly say what I like because they will not allow me back into my account, even though it is obvious that I am the owner of the account. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Kucoin?

Their "customer service" is honestly the worst I've ever encountered. A different representative on every email (Connie, Krystal, Ivory, Cola, Sukey, Flower, Udora, Gakki, Kyle - are these even real people?). Literally no effort to truly resolve an issue - just the same stupid email responses "Dear valued Kucoin user, thank you for reaching out, truly sorry for your inconvenience, look forward to your reply," They NEVER respond to an actual question or attempt to find a solution. This is truly a pathetic way to treat customers.

I opened an account with approximately $10K in February 2018. I lost my phone and all my second level apps just after that, and recently attempted to log back into the account. I was blocked and have attempted to re-establish my identity with five steps Kucoin requires. I successfully completed four of the five steps establishing my identity, but do not have details on where my original deposit originated. They obviously know who I am and even told me in an email exactly how much BTC was in the original deposit. The customer reps keep repeating the same message to me over and over. They know I am the account owner and will still not let me access my account. THEY LITERALLY DO NOT CARE. As others have said on different review sites - beware of Kucoin because there are parts of this company that appear to be a significant SCAM. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Recommendations to others considering Kucoin:

I made a $10K personal investment. I proved my identity painstakenly by submitting to and completing four steps required by Kucoin. I offered to submit to any further requirements if Kucoin would agree to a video conference. I asked that the issue be escalated to management. I've emailed at least nine "customer support representatives" on an endless email chain - it is obvious the reps do not even read the emails. It is obvious from my interactions with their customer support representatives that they have no ability to actually work with clients to resolve issues. They are just box checkers. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Kucoin?

The great thing about Kucoin is that it tends to list quality coins first before all of the other major exchanges. This allows for its users to be early adopters for coins before they get approved on the higher volume exchanges. Kucoin also has an extremely diverse range of cryptocurrencies and is easily the best place to go for the lesser known coins if you are living outside of Europe/Asia since the other exchanges won't have the same large coin pool to choose from. What do you dislike about Kucoin?

The security is easily the biggest problem with the platform. Kucoin is still a fairly new platform which means it normally has the lower side when it comes in terms to volume. This means that during periods of high volume, a lot of the time the network will get congested and the platform will fail to keep up. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Kucoin?

In the trading section, the platform shows you the fiat value of every coin and your balance (32 different fiat money - including USD) - this if totally helps.

This platform has many crypto assests to trade or hold in the platform's wallet.

The platform rates are fair and stable

The platform API is pretty convenient and useful, it can be used for trading web/mobile applications

This platform has great and valuable prizes in the trading competitions.

Kucoin allows you to directly offer a coin/token to be listed on their platform, which is pretty great. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Kucoin?

User interface is complex comparing to other crypto exchanges - it is hard to find some of the actions.

The support in this platform takes a long time to respond to your questions, most of the time.

This is not allowed to deposit USD, or other fiat currencies from credit card to the platform, and also - this is not allowed to withdraw fiat currencies to your credit card/bank account. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Recommendations to others considering Kucoin:

- Consider Using Kucoin platform if you really care about your wallet security - Kucoin support many security validations and 2 step-verifications.

- Besides the Bitcoin/altcoins trading, consider using KuCoin if you lover young&cool platform design and if you want to follow your trade&wallet value in fiat money instantly. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I use KuCoin platform to trade Bitcoin and another crypto assets and use this platform as a wallet for my business cryptocurrencies.

Why do you have to hold KCS on the exchange in order to get dividend? Users would to hold KCS in their own wallet

IS very very very slow system very bad

Withdrawal time is 3 hours (!) and got kicked from customer service chat

It has many currencies supported on the platform.

It has a wonderful UI interface.

It includes highly secure with 2-step authentication.

What do you like best about Kucoin?

The platform's look & feel are good, it looks friendly and feels comfortable, the blue color makes me feel very comfortable on the site

The platform has many coins and alts supported

The platform enables you to have wallets for many coins without further installations -- I don't have to manually install the wallets of every coin on my PC Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Kucoin?

The platform has many coins on maintenance

The platform's layout looks really like a template, which causing it to look suspicious and immature

The platform does not allow you to withdraw money from credit card

The platform does not support sending SMS instead of Google Authenticator which is a flaw
