"Worst Exchange Ever (COTI 'Maintenance' for 7 days with no updates)"

What do you like best about Kucoin?

Good for the first 3 days until COTI withdrawal got suspended. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Kucoin?

It's been seven days. Today is 2nd March 2022, and I still cannot withdraw COTI from the exchange. Every day is an opportunity to earn yield in treasury. Support is unhelpful at best and incredibly rude at worst. NO updates from COTI, no timeline whatsoever.

The 'maintenance' is likely not maintenance at all.

I don't recommend KuCoin at all. There are better exchanges out there. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Apart from them loosing my account and not being able to help ! Everything. No welcome or confirmation email just sms messages so delete them and you have less proof of an account opening. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Kucoin solving and how is that benefiting you?

Opened an account with them and and same day bought a small amount (thank god) of alt coin to try their system and see how they work.

Their website is very very glitchy and slow. However I persevered and checked my coins and was at that point happy.

However 2 days later when I went to open my webpage (that normally logs on automatically for me) I got sent to the log on page which you have to manually input user and password...no problem. Oops it won't take my password so I request a code to reset....Nothing was received by either mail or sms.

Hi HELP DESK .....explained the above and the answer I got back was 'sorry sir you are not registered with us by either your email or phone number !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! HUH so I explained again but received the same answer over and over again. And since I never wrote down my UID number I didn't have any reference at all. I even explained and sent them my transaction email from SIMPLEX for my coins......"Sorry sir you will have to provide us with your log on details'

I was absolutely dismayed with this tick the box service so I decided to create a new profile with the same log on details and see what happens. Guess what 7 hours later it won't let me log in again to my NEW account and is saying again that the password is incorrect !!!

Absolute abhorrant service and now I've just feel I've been scammed by KUCoin as I have nowhere to go for help !

If anyone has any ideas regarding this issue then let me know. Or how you complain to the Singapore authorities to get my coins returned from their BLACK HOLE exchange ! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Do not use Kucoin"

What do you like best about Kucoin?

Support looks friendly but they keep you on the line. In my case it took almost 1 year before I got an answer to my issue. Every Month I had to go back... Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Kucoin?

I traded POLY on their platform. But as they decided to delist POLY they just removed POLY from my account. It was removed without any notification. This is an ERC20 token and it would have been easy to transfer to another account. POLY is still a live project. So they basically stole my tokens. I cannot say it differently. Their support simple informs: it was delisted and you lost everything. I feel this is unacceptable. Nothing was done from their side to solve my problem.

So please do not use Kucoin ! It's a Chinese exchange and the managers seem to live in the Seychelles. I will never use them again. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Useable Exchange With Some Niche Coins"

What do you like best about Kucoin?

Kucoin has some niche coins that have high potential for big gains, especially lower market cap coins. It has also improved massively since it had a major overhaul of the user interface. Their fees are also comparable with some of the other exchanges, i.e. not extortionate or overpriced, which some niche exchanges are. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Kucoin?

There are a lot of unnecessary emails once you're signed up and unsubscribing doesn't seem to work. Very annoying. Many of these emails also come in Korean, which I am not averse to but it shows that there is little personalisation in the process. There is also no option to consolidate small balances of coins into a single coin - the process still has to be done manually. I also had an issue with support when I couldn't access my account because of an authentication error - they were slow to respond and I didn't feel as though they were concerned at all which led to some frustration. Recommendations to others considering Kucoin:

This is not the best exchange by a mile, but if it's the only exchange with the coins you want to trade listed, it's a perfectly acceptable option. I use it as a secondary exchange and very much recommend that others do the same. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I have been able to make some investments that weren't possible on other exchanges, especially in lower market cap coins. I have also been able to make payment for goods online using their easy withdrawal process. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
